Recent Review: They came in and completely gutted the old bathroom down to the studs. Found the floor beneath the shower had rotted out so that was fixed. Removed two partial walls and retiled the whole bathroom. Made the shower zero entry, open, with a nice bench, new plumbing and fixtures and a nice large glass shower door. New cabinets, sinks and mirrors were installed. They were here everyday from about 0900 to late afternoon. The job site was cleaned every night and all trash removed. The vendors they suggested I use were easy to work with and fairly priced. When I complained about the water not being hot enough, they went into the attic and discovered the water heater was leaking and bulging so they installed a new water heater, after my approval, on a 90+ hot day as soon as it was discovered. The bathroom is beautiful and I only wish I had done it sooner! Everyone at Dynamic Finishing was easy to work with especially Larry and Allen. If I ever have more projects I will call Dynamic Finishings first.

Re-Bath of Augusta
Recent Review: We had a crack in the builders grade shower insert on our home that was 15 yrs old.  The crack was at the base of the stool portion of the insert and was impossible to repair because everytime we stepped in the shower it would open up.  What we did not know was that when the shower was removed there was an 8 inch x 10 inch x 2 feet deep hole adjacent to the drain.  We were lucky we did not fall through the shower bottom.  Apparently it was part of the home when it was built and shoddy craftsmanship and no apparent supervision.  Enough with our rant.  ReBath came in and pulled out the insert and replaced it with a beautiful replacement shower.  We loved the attentiveness to detail and the friendliness of our installers.  They walked us through the entire process and allowed us to take pictures all along the way.  It has been a year since the install and we had one issue where the shower doors would not stay closed.  This did not occur until 8 months after the install.  We called them up and they came out the next day and fixed them in 5 minutes without a bill and by the same person who did our install.  We have truly enjoyed working with ReBath and will continue to use them with future bathroom projects.  We highly recommend them!

Recent Review: It was a very pleasant experience. The work required several visits to our home and he was always punctual. He gave us an estimate and the final cost was within the estimate. He was respectful, polite and very easy to deal with and to talk to. As plans changed somewhat during the process, he was perfectly amenable to the changes. He was most agreeable to work with and we will certainly use him again for future projects.

T R HOOVER CONSTRUCTION
Recent Review: At our request, Mr. Hoover itemized his contract and gave us definitive start and end dates.  He did more than just honor the contract.  Because some of the work did not need to be done, he gave us a reasonable discount on our contract without us having to say anything.  We purchased our own tub, tub walls, shower door, toilet, vinyl flooring, and sink and bath/shower faucets. They supplied the permit, vanity top and cabinet, wood, asundry necessities, tools, and labor. They came on time and coordinated jobs with each other with professionalism. Mr. Hoover was meticulous in explaining what he was doing and why in detail (even when I did not ask for explanations). He was courteous to his employees and to us. I admire a person who treats his employees well. That says a lot about his character. If something was not done correctly, he had his employees pull it out and redo it--never once raising his voice or talking down to them. He completely redid our tiny bathroom making it a showplace. I am very pleased with his work and will definitely use him again in the future if the need arises.

CERAMTECHS
Recent Review: The job went on for about a week. Jason also did a great job working with us to select the tile we wanted - he has a good eye for what works. He understood that we wanted to do a good job on two bathrooms, and do a little extra on the 3rd. He steered us to materials and ideas that kept us on budget. The work crew ranged from 2 - 4. Randy was in charge and definitely new his business. Most days the crew worked from 9 - 6. As with every major job, there were glitches along the way, but Jason and Randy were easy to work with to overcome challenges. For instance, when tiles cracked in the guest bedroom bath, Randy put in an extra row of accent tiles. Downsides to the experience were few. The job went on long...but it was a big job. Our light colored carpets got pretty dirty, requiring professional cleaning afterwards. More paper on the floors might have helped. Overall, the work and price were excellent. We would recommend Jason and Randy to anyone considering a bathroom/tile remodeling.

Reviews in Augusta to Install Shower Door

DSears Appliance Repair
It dd not go well. It is still incomplete.  It's been a frustrating and aggravating experience. The installers came out with the cabinet, but not the counter top.  They installed that cabinet, tub surround and shower door but I had to wait a week for the counter top to come.  When they put in the wall surround and tub faucet, the faucet only gave warm water because the settings weren't right.  Water was still coming in under the new shower door because of a gap.  Their fix for the shower door was to use some weather stripping at the bottom, but there is still a gap there because it's just a piece of rubber . With the tub surround, they used white crown molding, but the rest of the wall was brown paneling. It looks horrible.  It's now November and I've gone back and forth with emails and calls to get the situation resolved. They have had to sent another group of installers out to clean the walls for me.  They were supposed to use a clear sealant on the counter top, but it dried milky looking.
