Recent Review: I got the advice and support I needed when deciding on flooring. The flooring that was installed is beautiful and was done very professionally. I am ready to do the next room in my house.

Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.

Recent Review: They are fantastic. All the jobs were done professionally and beautifully! Victor made sure we were happy with all the details before he accepted payment. They also clean up after themselves!
Recent Review: It went great! Chris, Mike and Taylor showed up on time and got right to work. they use proper time management and don't take lunch to save time and to get as much done as possible. The price was good to. A flooring company here in Valdosta wanted 8,000 dollars to do the same thing Chris did for 3600 dollars. It only took 3 days to get it done. I'd definitely use them again and highly recommend him.

We are very pleased overall with the service and the floor. They were able to come out promptly after contacting them for an estimate. The estimate was a little off than the final cost, but hey that happens. After we selected the wood, they ordered it and received it in a day. They had to wait on us to do the install, usually it's the other way around. It only took them a few hours to get the floors in and they look great! After they were finished, the installer took time to talk about floor care, baseboards, and what they did to make it look so good. He pointed out that whoever did the original wood floors in the rest of the house did a lousy job installing the shoe molding and the floor itself. The joints were very uniform, not random as they should be. I wish they would have installed the rest of the wood floors when the house was built!

They were very Professional and all work was done in a very timely manner. It was a two man team one started removing the old grout while the other started the removal and replacement process of the broken tile. One the grout was out they both went to work on the tile replacement. After all tiles were cut to fit and ready they set them in with thin set making sure all side were even and level as they went. lastly they replaced all missing grout and washed/cleaned it three times till there was no haze on the tile. Overall process took maybe two hours tops from start to finish. The team made sure the area was clean before departing. It went so well I have them coming back to refinish my front door next week.

Quality of work was outstanding. Kitchen looks great with repair and new floor. Fascia replacement and house paint makes my house look like new. Yard looks great. Each day, when I returned from work, I was amazed at the amount of work they had accomplished. Communication was great. I received an itemized contract with everything listed that was to be done. I appreciate everything they did for me and would recommend them to anyone needing home repairs.

After I had such a bad experience with the other guy, I asked around my co-workers in the Air Force, and got Detail Flooring's name. I called him, and he said he would be over in 30 minutes. He gave me a quote on the spot, and said he would be back at 7am the next day. At 6:55 am my door bell rang. He finished right on time, and right on budget. That dude is phenomenal! He's a diamond in the rough! I had 340 sq. feet of flooring, and we used a diamond pattern, which has a lot more cuts. To install the new tile and trim he charged $420. To install the back splash of about 20 sq. feet he charged $120. I would grade him an A Plus! He was kind of quite, but cordial, and respectful. He cleaned up the mess when he was done. He packed up the remaining material and put it away, only a little better than he found it. According to his card he does painting, carpet, tile, sheet rock, and siding outside.

IT WAS GREAT- NO TIME WAS WASTED, VERY SATISFIED WITH RESULTS AND SOMETIMES IF A CUSTOMER HAS SMALL ISSUES WITH WORKMANSHIP IT SHOULD NEVER BE TAKEN PERSONAL BECAUSE IT IS STRICLY A BUSINESS TRANSACTION. OTHER THAN THAT EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH COMPANY AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

James and his son, "John Boy", were pleasant, cooperative, hard-working, trustworthy, flexible regarding our demands. They were careful with our property, and respectful of our needs related to the project.

When Dan showed up the first day, he did not waste any time getting right to work. He started in the Bathroom putting tile over the bathtub. Once he got the outside of the front plate of the tub done, he immediately moved to the ceiling fan on the porch to give the putty time to dry behind the tile. After an expedient install of the ceiling fan, he returned to the tile and attempted to work with it to get it to look better (All the while, telling himself it wasn't looking good). He finally gave up on the tile and suggested that I go with wood. I did agree with him that the tile was not working and that wood would probably be a better cover. He said he would return later that day with the supplies to get it finished. (While he is gone) I got to thinking that it is a bathroom, going on a bathtub with a lot of water being splashed around by the grandkids. Dan returned with the wood as he said and I stopped him at his truck and told him that I was thinking about it and decided that wood was not the best cover to use for this project. He simply said okay, what would you like to use? I told him about my concerns with the amount of water that would be (from time to time) spilling over the side of the tub. He attempted to assure me that treating the wood, sealing it would prevent anything from happening. I did not feel right about it and insisted that we come up with a different solution to this problem. Dan suggested a material that was flexible and water resistant (I cannot remember the name of it or I would say). I agreed with the suggestion and Dan said he would pick it up in the morning and be by to install it. Dan showed up with the material he suggested and I took a look at it. I told him to install it. It took some work from Dan and I to get this material installed. Not that he could not do it; just took two people to get it done. And I didn't mind helping as it gave me something to do for the day. After Dan finished with the tub, he went to the porch door and hung new hinges and brackets because the door was dragging when it closed (if it closed at all) at no extra charge for labor, just parts. We did not have Dan install the floor as we originally wanted. The price was not good for us and we would have to save a few more pennies to get it done. But, when that day comes, you can bet I will be calling Dan out to install the flooring as well.
