Recent Review: I've had Home Cooling Pros to my shop now on 2 different occasions. I have 3 units on the roof of my shop. I've been told by 4 different air conditioning companies now that I needed to replace 1 of them. I was at my last ditch effort and these guys came out and repaired the unit. It has been working great ever since. They were very honest and the only company who said the unit could be fixed. They have also come out and repaired another of the units on the roof which suffered hurricane damage. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.
Recent Review: Our AC stopped working and we called Alan Thrift at No Sweat AC and got immediate service. Alan was very thorough in checking things out and isolated the problem to a high-resistance connection in the fuse panel. Great response time, and we didn't have to buy a new compressor! If you want to support local businesses, please consider using Alan for your heating and AC needs.
Recent Review: When my A/C stopped running during the September heat wave due to what appeared to be low freon, I the called company I've been using the last couple of years for maintenance to have them look at it. I thought it would just require a re-charge and all would be good. They came out the following day and after charging $185 for the call and to check for leaks, I was told the leak in my coil could not be repaired and my only option was to replace the unit for either $7,000 or $10,000. Granted the unit is over 18 years old, but we've never had any issues with it in all those years. Rather than replace it, I opened a ticket with our warranty company to get a second opinion and see if it would be covered. The following day Lou from World Class A/C came out to look at it. I explained what the other company had said and showed him where the leak was. I fully understand that the first option with the warranty company is to repair the unit and after testing the line, Lou confirmed that they would try to repair the coil at their shop. The entire time he was here, he was very professional and explained everything in detail. Since it was a Thursday afternoon, I knew I'd be without A/C until at least Monday. Luckily we have two units for the house and our bedrooms still had A/C while the living area was without it. Yes, it was extremely uncomfortable running just fans for several days on that side of the house with 95+ heat indexes, but by Tuesday the repair was completed and Lou was back out to re-install the coil...and the unit has worked perfectly since. Throughout the process, Lou and the office communicated with me to let me know when he'd be out and update me on the status of the repair. With the $75 warranty company service fee plus $100 to re-fill the freon it cost me less for the repair than what I paid the other company to do absolutely nothing. Although the circumstances were difficult, I was very pleased with how World Class A/C handled the issue and wish I had gone through the warranty company initially instead of wasting several days by calling the other guys. I will definitely use them for any A/C work we need outside of the warranty.
Recent Review: Called after hours on Thursday, they came at 8 AM Friday to diagnose the problem. They got the replacement fan motor and installed it later the same day. Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. We highly recommend.

We service hotels, motels, healthcare centers, assisted living facilities and apartment/condominium complexes nationwide. We also service properties managed by Interstate Hotels, Blackstone Realty and Buena Vista Hospitality.
I had originally called someone from Home Advisor. They had sent someone that tried to scare me into getting a New Central AC. I then went on to your site and found Mr. Allan Simpson. I told him that I needed a second opinion and asked about service fees. He said that it was on his way and will call me 30 minutes before arriving. He was prompt and courteous. He found the problem and fixed it. I did not need a New Central AC and he gave me an excellent price. Mr. Simpson is very honest, professional and intelligent. He is not out to rip you off. He is not money hungry and cares about his reputation. As a matter of fact, I had to remind him to bill me. I would highly recommend him.

We called in the morning, and Westbrook gave us a same-day appointment. Jonathan arrived on time. He labored for about three hours to repair our a/c, climbing up and downstairs, up into the attic and so on. He worked very hard to save a dated a/c that would probably cost $5,000 to replace. He replaced the capacitor, whatever that is, which was the minimal repair to see if the motor would work--and it did. He drained out all kinds of schmutz that was trapped somewhere or other. Obviously, I am not a gear-head, and I don't understand how a/c works. Jonathan, however, patiently explained everything he was doing. And he cheerfully trudged up and downstairs with huge buckets of water to do all the cleaning. The total cost was $215, which was a 50 percent discount because I belong to their maintenance program, which has turned out to be a great deal. Bottom line: I would give Jonathan and Westbrook and A+ for great service.

APucci's Air & Home Services
Right before Christmas our air conditioning system went out. I called a few companies including Puccis the day after Christmas and was surprised not just to get an answer but the owner personally stopped by 2 hours later to troubleshoot for a repair. After inspecting the system he advised why adding a new one made more sense than a costly repair. I appreciated his straight-forward approach. I felt as if he was treating it as if it was his house and what was best for us. I knew our system was old and had given us more years than I expected. He quoted me a price for a new system, explaining the pros and cons of different options. Being a Saturday, I expected to have to wait a few days for installation but due to the warm weather, he fit us in 2 days later. The crew arrived on time, worked hard into the evening to get everything right, and the new system is quieter and cooler than our old one (we got a Trane system). What impressed me most was that Mr. Pucci called that night to follow up and make sure everything was cooling well. I was appreciative of all they accomplished in such a short time and the personable guidance offered.

AAMBROSE AIR INC
Just great. They came and evaluated, checked out the existing situation. They put in a whole new unit with a great programmable thermostat. They re-checked it when I had questions and have done the first preventive-maintenance service. They are all very nice men who conduct themselves with professionalism and courtesy.

AAmeritech Air Conditioning & Heating
It went great! The person came out to do an estimate. He was on time and very thorough. He provided an estimate and also gave specs. Once I decided I wanted to hire them, the appointment was made. The two men who did the work came out early on Saturday and finished by 6:00 PM the same day. The worked very hard. You could tell they knew their stuff. At the end of the day, I signed the final agreement and paid the final installment. The administrative assistant was also very good at following-up to ensure the city inspector came out to check the final work. Everyone from start to finish were professional and very timely. I definitely will use Ameritech to come out and service the air conditioner for maintenance.

After 12 years it was time to replace our air conditioner in our rental home. I contacted Westbrook among other companies and found that their price was very competitive with the other companies I called. Bill, the rep that came out to our house, reviewed our current system and was very detailed and descriptive when describing the work that would be performed and the advantages of the new system. Bill also took into account that this was a rental home so we our priorities were pricing and warranty over efficiency. The service was performed on time and quickly. A new concrete pad was installed for the outside unit and the inside handler and plumbing was all done well. The only complaint that I would have for them was that a week or so after the work was performed one of the foam interior panels behind the intake grate came loose and fell off. I called the company and left a voicemail and did not hear back. I never did make a second call and the renter told me that he would reattach it the piece as it seemed a simple fix. Based on my experience I will be calling them again and have recommended them to my neighbors and friends.

The cost was good. I chose them because a lot of people in the area that use them. They have really good customer service. There were a couple of problems that we ran into but they addressed them really quickly which was really good. They're pretty good.

ALibby Twins Heating & Air
A crew of three showed up at 9am and replaced both inside and outside units and were finished by 3pm. They did an excellent installation job, cleaned up afterwords and even made a play house out of the empty cardboard air conditioning boxes for my grand kids. All in all, it was a very good experience. Highly recommended.

DFRED GAMBLE HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING
The price was good, installation quick (but flawed) and follow-up service are poor. The first flaw we noticed was that the air handlers were installed so tight that it is impossible to take out the filter without ripping it to pieces, most of the time we could not even insert the filter properly so we had to switch to air-grille return filters. After 6 months, we noticed water leaking through the ceiling downstairs (from the upstairs unit) and called their after-hour emergency service. They told us that a tech was on the way, but he never showed up. The next day, they looked at the unit and found out the overflow sensor was not properly installed and the drain pipe clogged.... Several months later the unit lost cooling power and they had to refill coolant (which is not covered by the warranty). The tech added a dye to check for leaks, and when the same issue occurred a month later, they figured out that the inside coil was leaking. The new coil was supposed to be installed the next morning,... nobody showed, but the technician was nice enough to call in the afternoon and let us know that they will get the coil on Friday and will install it on Monday. Monday came and went, nobody showed up or even called. I called Tuesday morning and was told that they would look into it and call me back... of course they never did. They will probably come sometime this week, but there is no telling with these guys. One of their techs is very nice and knowledgeable (Tom, I think is his name) but their office and overall customer service is terrible! Whatever they tell you, it won't happen unless you call them back 3 or 4 times.
