Sham Shield Powerwashing did a great job of cleaning our driveway, walkways, and patio, but there were some crossed signals. I suggested some possible times and was told that someone would get back to me to discuss and schedule the job. Instead, early one morning, my wife heard a loud noise coming from the front yard, and lo, it was the pressure washing team. It wasn't a particularly good time for them to show up, since I was already at the office and my wife was about to take the kids to school and go to work herself, and we hadn't yet confirmed with them what needed to be washed and what didn't. My wife remembered to ask them about our patio, and was told, "We wish you had said something sooner because we didn't bring a second machine for that." Well, we would have said something sooner if someone had actually discussed the job with us ahead of time. Unfortunately, my wife did not remember to warn them to leave a brick edging to our driveway alone. As a result, they pressure washed all the sand from between the bricks, and now we will need to get the sand replaced so that the bricks stay in place. One job (pressure washing) is finished, but now we have another job to do. Also, because they arrived with no warning, we hadn't yet moved anything off the patio. They moved things for us and we put it back later, which worked fine. Everything they washed was significantly cleaner, and they even managed to remove a stain left by a rotting jack-o-lantern that we had been unable to scrub away. I was pleased with the thorough cleaning, but I would have preferred a conversation ahead of time so that we all knew what should be pressure-washed and what should be left alone.
