Recent Review: Al Bevis and Jeff removed the damaged hardwood and replaced with new BR111. Note: the homeowner dropped a heavy object and gouged the hardwood floor. This project took 2 days since the removal of the damaged wood was very labor intensive and required the concrete floor to be fixed because it sustained some minor damage during the wood removal. Now our floor looks like it did prior to the accident. Previously Al Bevis had installed BR111 hardwood in most of our house. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship and professionalism and would recommend them for any hardwood project.
Recent Review: This is the third time I have used BAST to install hardwood floors. Once again I was impressed by their honesty and professionalism. First of all, they helped me to find hardwood to match the other floors in my house since the brand I had used before was not available anymore. Then when it was time for installation they did a moisture test in both rooms. The moisture in one room was to high so they would not lay the floor until it reached a certain range. I was so impressed. They could have just laid the floor and been done, but instead they came out several more times at no additional charge to do more moisture tests and even told me how to get rid of the moisture. The gentlemen that laid the floors were wonderful. They took care of moving the furniture, even my piano. The floors were installed in a timely fashion and they cleaned up each day before they left. I never even had to vacuum! If I decide to install more hardwood floors or need repair for the ones I have, I will always use BAST.
Business Description: History
Established in 2000.
The humble beginnings of B&M date back to the 1980's in Poland. The founders were both working in large factories dedicated to wood furniture production and shipping to Germany, Italy, & France. Taking this expertise in the European wood furniture industry to the states, we started off working for a local competitor and branched out to create our own B&M Hardwood Floors Inc. in 2000. We've been serving Pinellas and surrounding areas ever since.
Recent Review: We had an excellent experience with Matt and his crew. Matt, the owner, oversaw the whole project and assisted with additional trim work which produced a very finished appearance. They offered to help move a couple big pieces of furniture, and provided good dust protection with plastic cloths, although with the HEPA filters they used when sanding, there was minimal duct to be found. They cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis and at the end there was nothing left behind but a beautiful floor. They offered to help us move some of the furniture back, but this was not necessary as we could do that ourselves. Matt made clear that we should contact him with any questions or concerns following the work and he provided additional help to us with care of our new floor. Will and Chris, who did most of the work were very professional, friendly, and tolerant of our dog throughout the project. That really made things easy for us. Overall, Wakefield provided us with a great finished product, we were able to stay in our home during the process, and the team was great to work with.

Purchased wood flooring and installation. Scheduled installation date was not meet as they were backed up with work. Sales person indicated they have their own employees doing the installation and do not use subcontractors. Our installation was given to an outside contract and I assume it was to them being backed up. Subcontractor arrived and forgot to pick up the tmoldings and end caps. We ran to the store and picked them up. Floor Depot failed to order the correct number of boxes and the subcontactor was short 3 boxes. Waited another day for that to be delivered. Floors were started on Tuesday and work was completed on Saturday. 5 days for installation. Price was good, like the product and installation was good. Just some issues as outlined above.

Excellent experience! My wife fell in love with a handscrapped Acacia hardwood and JC was amazing at helping us get what we wanted at a reasonable price. Install took about 6 days, which was a little longer due to some complications with our new house on our end. The 2 gentlemen who installed our floor were very professional and knowledgeable. They undercut our stone fireplace beautifully, which makes it appear that the fireplace is sitting on top of the hardwood - we get complements on the incredible appearance often! The installers were very accommodating to my desire to install new baseboards myself, and promised to come out whenever I finished the job so that they could install the remainder of the transition pieces around the new base. When I finished installing the baseboards, they came right back out the next day to finish the job! The price ended up being a little higher than I was anticipating, due to the amount of leveling the concrete subfloor needed before installation, however I can't complain due to the amazing and professional job that Floor Depot did! I have already recommended them to others getting new flooring, and I will continue to do so in the future.

Sean and his team were truly outstanding and this experience was extremely positive. I was a little apprehensive at first, but with each step in the process I became more and more confident. Replacing carpet with hardwood floors requires a high degree of skill and expertise - Sean's team had all the required attributes in order to deliver a superior product/service. Throughout the process I was very impressed with the team's work style and habits. During the actual installation process, Sean's team was punctual, courteous, and professional. They were very respectful in my house and they were careful to clean up the work areas at the end of each day. Sean's pleasant and professional attitude really impressed me, as well. All my questions were answered as they came up, each step in the project was explained to me, and at the end of the job there were no surprises or major changes to the original estimate. I am definitely satisfied with this experience and I would hire Sean for any related projects, in the future.

Sean's work is meticulous. He installed hardwood floors throughout the entire 1,000 square foot house and they are beautiful--everything we could ask for and more. Sean was prompt, courteous, responsive to every question, and he is an educator. He helped us make important decisions and educated us on the wisdom of those decisions. He is one of the best businesses I have worked with in terms of timeliness and follow through. We had a deadline and he met it. We had questions, he either answered the phone or called back within the hour. We had a ceramic tile in the bathroom that was broken accidentally in the installation. He FOUND the right tile and came back as promised (after full payment) to install the tile. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about Sean and the quality of his work! Hire this man!

FAuthentic Hardwood Flooring
The experience with them was absolutely horrible. I had to have the floors completely removed and redone by another company. I didn't make the last payment. He didn't have a full crew, he just had one man, the man was a horrible person. He tore up the old flooring and put down the base flooring in a very bad manner. It was wavy, and you could see dips in it. It was discolored, it had a film on it. The thresh hold that he used were not correct, and they were dangerous, you could stand on one side of my townhouse, and see the floor going in waves. It never shined up, and it looked horrible. I gave them an opportunity to come back and fix it because my lawyer told me to, and they made it worse. Some of the repairs that they did was worse then when they had fixed it. Finally I kicked him out of my house. They were not apologetic at all. They were like I was being picky. I had two other companies come in, and see if they could repair it, and they said that they could not. They said it looked like a DIY job. I had lost my sister at the same time, and so I just could not deal with it. Then a couple of months later, I got another company to come and redo it. The owner of the company was out of town when it was being done, and when I tried to call him, he was in North Carolina, and he was there most of summer.
