Recent Review: It went so smoothly we couldn't believe it. I Didn't know there was an air conditioner company that worked on weekends! The old one was checked on Saturday and a new one was installed on Sunday. Everyone involved was very polite and professional.
Recent Review: Their professionalism exceeded all our expectations. The technicians explained all the details of the replacement of or air conditioning. We are very happy with all the work that was done. I highly recommend them for any and all your a/c needs. Thank you very much.
Recent Review: Entire process from the initial in home consultation to the installation and start-up of the new system went smoothly and trouble free. The installation crew was prompt and courteous. They began work as soon as they arrived and worked diligently until complete. A great experience!

Recent Review: They put in and checked my air conditioner and put in two thermostats. The service was performed 6 months ago, while the air conditioner was there months ago. I don't remember how much it costs, but I would say about $400. I had some problems with the air conditioner. They fixed it and checked the freon and put new freon in. It was about $300. I don't know what competitive pricing is, so I might put a B. N/A will work for pricing. Their quality was excellent. I would absolutely use them again, A+. One person came out to complete the service. Everything was left clean. They were terrific.
Recent Review: VERY NICE people to deal with both on the phone and on site. They did a good job for us and we will use them again. Our fan went out on the hottest days of this summer and had to be ordered. When they received the fan 2 days later, it was 5:00 pm but they were extremely sensitive to our air being out and came out to install immediately. No after hours charge. The only thing I would comment on for improvement was proactive communication. If you're waiting on a part and want to know the status for scheduling.....you'll have to call. It would be nice if they proactively follow-up with you when you are in "queue" waiting for a part,.
Talked to Todd on Tuesday and it was installed on the following Monday. On the date promised and done by two very nice men, that cleaned up after and ensured we knew how to work the unit.

ALARRY'S AIR CONDITIONING & SVC
Living in a rural area the choices of contractors can be very limiting. However, Larry's has been in business for a number of years and have had good experiences with him in the past on appliance repairs such as a washer and dryer but not for an complete central air install. Along with Larry's A/C I contacted one other local contractor and few others from outlying communities that would quote the job. From the beginning Larry had the most competitive price and provided the widest selection of products. He was very detailed in his estimate and was willing to work with me regarding specific wants and needs with patience and professionalism. Once the contract was signed and the date was set for installation he and his crew showed up on time and performed the work in the most expeditious and professional manner. When the time came for inspection they were present to accommodate any changes that were required. The installation took and few days but after each days work they left the premises clean and free of any obstruction. I wholeheartedly recommend Larry's A/C and Appliance Service for all such needs. Around my area, and for good cause, he is the go-to guy.

I called to set an appointment to get an estimate for a new central AC system. The one I have now is old and we were told when we bought the house, 7 years ago, it was on its way out. It didn't start this season and I thought it was time for replacement. Harry came and I told him I was looking to replace the system and he asked me what was wrong. He tested the unit and cleaned it and replaced 2 parts and the system is up and working like new. He had an opportunity to sell me a new system but , instead he replaced 2 parts and cleaned the system and charged me $160. For a company to have an opportunity to sell a new system and instead replace 2 parts and get the system going again is definately the type of business I want to be my "go to" AC guys. Harry and the other technician who was here were extreme professionals and friendly.

FBack To New Htg & Cooling
Not good. I wanted to cancel my so called "maintenance contract" after they installed a bad part in my a/c compressor. They informed me that only the owner can approve refunds. Five phone calls to them proved fruitless. Finally sent letter requesting refund. Contacted Crimes Against Seniors division of the Citrus County Sheriffs Office and they informed me that have received numerous complaints on this company. They stressed the word "numerous". After BTN installed the faulty part, my a/c quit 11 times during a 2 week period. Finally got another a/c service company. The part was replaced and a/c runs like new. I absolutely do not recommend Back To New.

FWind Swept AC and Appliance
One owner Joel is one of the nastiest, grumpiest people I've ever met in a service industry. The guy actually argues and screams with the customer. Even his workers dislike him-- and he's so very charming on the radio station Biz-Baz free morning advertising. What a blow hard croc this guy is! Installed units and forgot to install a critical component, then said he didn't know about it. Units installed incorrectly. Workers scheduled and calls telling us they'd come another day. Expensive. A/c system does not work evenly and does not even cool 110 sf room in all areas. Was told the units were silent-- they are loud! Asked repeadetly for sound barrier, got nothing. And did I mention the owner Joel needs a mental time out? What a horror story. DO NOT USE WINDSWEPT!

AAIR CARE AIR COND & HEATING
I CALLED, THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY AND INSPECTED THE EXISTING UNIT. AIR CARE SERVICES SHOWED ME WHERE THE UNIT HAD FAILED, TEMPORARILY FIXED AND ARRANGED TO INSTALL THE NEW UNIT 48 HOURS LATER. AIR CARE ARRIVED IN THE MORNING AND INSTALLED THE UNIT IN LESS THAN TWO HOURS. WE EXPERIENCED NO INCONVENIENCE OR DISCOMFORT. THEY CARRIED THE REMAINS AWAY TO BE CORRECTLY DISPOSED OF. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE WORKED WITH AIR CARE. THE SENIOR MAN ON THE JOB, MARTIN, HAS PERFORMED TERRIFIC WORK FOR ME AND MY CUSTOMERS FOR SEVERAL YEARS RUNNING. I REALLY APPRECIATE WORKING WITH SUCH PROACTIVE PROFESSIONALS.

AJohnson Air Services
Excellent. Family business, father and son, came with one employee. Incredibly kind, professional and thorough - I would say conscious. Took the time to check details, communicate clearly, and share insights. These are the kind of people you deal with; an impressive mix of familiar warmth, professional comportment, and industry expertise.

The platform where the central A/C sitting was wet and water dripping from under the unit. He clean the drainage pipe and no more dripping. I thought we would need to replace expensive parts or something. He taught me how to clean myself and how frequent to clean. He even told me the method to remember the time to clean.

FTouchstone Heating & Air
I tried to leave a review on the company's website, but it got deleted before I could post it. I'm going to try again. This company gave prompt service, but that was where everything went wrong. Their service call fee is either $100 or $125, I was told there was no difference for night or weekend calls originally, but this changed the last time I spoke with a rep. The total bill was for $465 plus tax... They replace two parts: a dual run capacitor that should have run around $30 and a contactor that should have run around $75... but I got charged for $340 for parts. The service call lasted less than 60 minutes. I have tried to get an itemized invoice showing the price of the service call with each part and price along with a warranty from this company for over a month now. The last thing I was told was, "We bill a flat fee and never itemize for anyone." Really?? What business does this? Would you take a car for repair and not expect an itemized bill showing labor and price for each part? Would you dine out and not expect an itemized bill showing the cost of each meal? Would you check out at the grocery store and not expect an itemized receipt showing how much you paid for each item? NO! Not only can I not get a written itemized bill, but I can’t get a written warranty either. On top of that, the credit card that was used to pay for this call was compromised 3 days later to the tune of over $900… I’m not saying that this company had anything to do with that, but at this point I can’t give them the benefit of the doubt. Be warned, THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!
