Bath Fitter Tallahassee (BFU333)
Recent Review: Replaced a 1960's tile shower.  Required some custom fitting and they did a beautiful job.  No muss, no fuss. Very careful about the work and took pains to keep area clean and cleaned up afterward. Would recommend them to anyone needing a bath or shower remodeled.

Recent Review: What a great experience! Mr. Rodger White himself came out and did the estimate and my parents appreciated how down to earth he was and how he took his time to tell us a little about himself and his company as well as the beginning and end of the work his company would do. It went so well I cancelled with another plumbing company to go with Mr. White's company. Mr. White even wanted to hear my parent?s story which was awesome. Jeremy came out and did the initial work on the shower remodel; he was quick and diligent but also did a very professional job and was able to get it all done in around 3 hours. Clayton came out next after the remodel was complete to finish up with the nozzle and shower head. I appreciated the fact that White's Plumbing was so flexible with peoples work schedules. Thank you Helen for always getting back to me and updating me with scheduling. She was awesome as well as the other gals at the office. Thank you White's Plumbing for making our shower remodel that much easier. The finished product is amazing.

Recent Review: Tracy and crew had previously done some cabinet work in my laundry room, so when we decided to remodel the bathroom they were my first call.  Tracy was very responsive to my request for an estimate and was also willing to work with me on the final price, which ultimately ended up in him doing some extra work for me (painting, replacing a door frame, etc.)  The project was initially delayed because of inclement weather.  This was through no fault of Tracy's, of course, and I only mention it because I was impressed by the fact that he checked in with me every day so I wouldn't feel put off.  Once the weather passed, Tracy and crew showed up working!  They literally came in the door tools in hand ready to go.  No project of this size is without it's unexpected issues.  Ours was no exception, but Tracy was responsive and addressed everything himself at no additional cost.  The final result is a beautifully remodeled bathroom that turned out exactly as I had hoped.  We still have a few more projects on our house "to do" list. When the time comes, I'd call Tracy again without hesitation.

Recent Review: Estimate was high, but individuals appeared confident in what they were doing. I was told that it would take a week to complete the job. The job ended up taking 3 weeks to complete, and the costs ended up exceeding the estimate. The workmanship on the tiled shower and on the bath floor was very poor. They failed to grout some areas, and in numerous locations of the bath floor the "black" adhesive they used for the tiles is bleeding through the grout. Two weeks after the job was completed, tiles in the shower cracked or came loose. I called the contractor several times and got nothing but his voice mail. I asked him to call me, but he didn't. Realizing he was not going to return my calls, I ended up making the repairs myself to both the shower stall and the bathroom floor. In making the repairs to the shower stall, I discovered that they had not used proper materials or procedures in doing this type of work. I ended up tearing out the shower floor and redoing it myself. I also had to reinstall the shower door as it was not installed correctly.

Recent Review: Remodeling is a tricky thing. No matter how dated that tile or how dysfunctional that space, they are still elements of YOUR HOME. Even if you are not at all sentimentally attached to the "old junk", or impressed by the old school craftsmanship and materials, no one looks forward with glee to the dust and mess and parade of new faces which are necessities of such change.    Before I met Burt (in Oct. 2014), I interviewed a half dozen contractors. Some showed irreverence for my space, my schedule, my biggest investment-- or all three. One led me to believe that through the entire process of gutting my 1950's bathroom down to the studs, I'd only be without that toilet for 3 days! (Having never been close to any reno work, I had no basis for disbelieving him.) Some clearly had a stock or standard plan of the vanilla room they'd leave in their wake. Some clearly were in over their heads, once they saw the space and methods used... but were not keen to decline the work. One suggested we combine the 2 rather modest baths into a "spa retreat"-- completely disregarding the reality that we have two teenagers under this roof!! Frankly, I was ready to settle for merely tolerating my contractor.    Burt Davy is head, shoulders, and waist above the rest! He came in with a positive attitude, a patient ear, a willingness to offer input when requested, and an inspiring-- and not at all oversold-- confidence in his crew. Burt clearly makes thoughtful choices about his crewmen and subs, considering their workmanship, professionalism, and demeanor so that no aspect is left lacking. Everyone who came through my door to work did so with a cheerful, courteous manner, the skills to get their part done well and timely, and the grace to handle the inevitable setbacks, frustrations, and complications which a job of this scope will include.    Each bathroom took about 3 weeks from start to 90% complete (100% functional); one was completed in Dec. 2014, and the other in Feb. 2015, accommodating various schedule conflicts we had; this timeline was perfectly acceptable to us. Each day the site was left not just livable, but safe and tidy. I was kept informed of whom to expect when, and this was honored faithfully-- with 1 exception near the end of the 2nd bath, when there'd been some crewman changes-- a temporary situation.    I was so pleased with Burt, his project manager, Rob, and his crew that I am almost looking for another major project to give them!
