This company was great. Although they don't work on Saturday (which I was wanting someone when I called on that day), it was worth the wait. They scheduled me for a few days later on Tuesday. John was the technician assigned to my job and he was delightful. He had over 30 years experience doing this work and was a pleasure to talk to about his passion for his work. Not only that, he re-arranged his work schedule to come "take a look" in the morning before I went to work so I could speak to him about what I needed (originally, he was going to come in the afternoon, but I couldn't be here). By doing that, it really allowed me to show him what I needed and what had happened since the last time the hot tub worked. John assessed the situation and confirmed that I would need mostly all new equipment (this was no surprise). The only thing that still worked after at least 4 years of disrepair was the air blower. John said he would gather the parts and be out the next day to do the work, then gave me a nice ballpark estimate (which turned out to be darn close to the real thing). I suppose I could have asked for a formal one, but again, I was wanting to get it done fast, and was happily accommodated. He showed up right on time the next day and had everything for the job. He got right to work and I did not feel the need to hover and supervise--I felt completely at ease. He installed a new pump, heater and button (which runs under ground, by the way...not easy) in a little over 1.5 hours. In total, for everything, it was $1300. I happily paid, and my friends have literally been loving the hot tub for the last several weeks. We use it every day, and I know who to call if I ever need anything. Thanks, John!
