Recent Review: We discovered our central air condition unit was not working on a Saturday Night.  We contacted Coleman Heating & Air Services, Inc., who are who we use as our ac/heating company for our seasonal check ups.  We were promptly called back and told what to do until they arrived.  Our service repair man showed up promptly, even though it was after 10:00 P.M.  He was professional, prompt in repairing our unit and was pleasant about the whole situation.  We were so happy in getting this taken care of in such a timely manner!

Recent Review: On a very hot and humid evening in July my 9 yr. old central air conditioner stopped working.  The next morning I called the company that had installed and maintained the unit.  A serviceman came out that afternoon.  After inspecting the unit  he said the capacitor was shot.  He replaced it and presented me with a healthy bill.  Early the next morning, the unit quit again.  A different service man came out, inspected the unit and said the compressor fan was bad.  Another fellow with him said, "No, the compressor was bad"!  I sent them all away.  I went to the computer and thru Angie's List found Zach Reynolds of Reynolds Air and Heat.  Zach responded quickly, and correctly diagnosed the problem.  We decided a new unit was in order. Zach and his crew showed up one day later, removed the old unit, inspected and repaired the plenum and air ducts, sealed all cracks and installed the new unit.  Zach either performed or supervised all tasks.  The work area was left spotless.  His work eithics and professionalism are unsurpassed.  No stone was left unturned.   I have found my A/C man! I will gladly and enthusiastically recommend Reynolds Air and Heat.  They truly do an outstanding work and I am very happy with my new unit.

Altman's Cooling & Heating
Recent Review: Excellent. My system needed one pound of refrigerant and now it cools as it should. Their tech, Matt, even spent the time to explain how I can make my system more efficient and made sure he answered all my questions. I have used Altman's for the past 3 years, after checking that they have an A+ rating from the BBB. Their techs are both knowledgeable and honest and they have never tried to "up sell" me, even though my central air conditioner is twenty years old. I have recommended them to everyone I know and if you're in their service area, I would suggest you use them as well. You won't be overcharged and you will be satisfied.

Recent Review: Michael came, he saw, he conquered!   Had the problem (capacitor failure)  diagnosed in 5 minutes, fixed in 10.  And it's Saturday!  And hot!  The office staff was also very professional in handling our call.   If only all companies were like this....

Recent Review: We were very pleased with the front desk service and with the technician Dustin. He came on a Saturday, but we were not charged weekend rate as we had called on Friday. He called to tell us when he was coming and arrived on time. Very courteous and professional. Took time to check all parts, cleaned what needed cleaning and explained in details what he was doing and why. We were very impressed, and were glad it was him coming as he had been at our house once before and gave a very good impression and excellent service then too! He is a keeper!! We will definitely call Aircare again, and ask for Dustin.

My husband and I, who live in Cocoa Beach , Florida were very dissatisfied with the service we received both for Trane Air Conditioning and Beach Appliance. We bought our Trane gas furnace system from Beach Appliance in December 2010. We paid $3, 950.00 for the AC, plus an additional $650.00 for the 10-year extended warranty covering parts and labor. On June 2, 2014 Beach Appliance came to check why our air conditioner would not function. (The third time in 4 years we had to have a repairman come out.)The workers told my husband that we needed a new coil and they would return in two days to install it. They did return on June 4th supposedly to install the coil. Nope! After spending about 15 minutes on the furnace, my AC still did not work. Did they bring a new coil? No! They said Trane told them to try this “expansion part?” It did not work. We needed a new coil. They did not return in another two days as promised. At the time, my average house temperature was 88 degrees. Outside was averaging 90 degrees with afternoon showers. No one called to tell me there would be a delay. When I called them on June 6th, they informed me that the part had not arrived. 18 days! Yes, 18 days! That’s how long it took for my air conditioner to be fixed. After bugging Beach Appliance almost daily and receiving complaints about Trane from them, I finally called Trane directly on June 14th. At this point, I had been without AC for 12 days! After being on hold for almost an hour, they informed me that the “coil” was on a train from Tennessee! Train? Tennessee? Really? What about Fed Ex or UPS? “Sorry, it’s not due to arrive until June 20th.” Sorry? That’s it? Well, I was told by the Supervisor, if you didn’t have a warranty, it would cost you $1000.00 to get it fixed. I didn’t realize that a 10 year warranty meant seemingly 10 years to wait for repairs! I was told that Beach Appliance had not ordered the part until June 6th – 4 days after they told me that I needed one. Talk about lack of professionalism. In addition, when the workers came and replaced the coil on June 20th, they told me that when they went to Melbourne to pick up the part from their warehouse, the employee said their warehouse was full of these parts. Believe me,I asked Beach Appliance’s, Shawn, about this and he had no explanation. None. Neither did Trane, even after I sent them a registered letter. Am I satisfied with my Trane extended warranty? NO! Am I satisfied with Beach Appliance? No! The Beach Appliance workers did return with a roof vent cover that they replaced for free as a concession to my 18 days of discomfort, but no one offered to help me scrub away the mold and mildew that built up in my house due to lack of air conditioning. We do not recommend Trane air conditioners or their warranty.

Our Central Air Conditioner was in bad shape and needed to be totally replaced. ARS Rep. Devin, came promptly to inspect and gave us a free estimate. He was courteous, knowledgeable and showed us three options, thoroughly explaining each one. The next morning, installers Brian and Jeff worked on removing damaged A/C and installing new units in the inside and outside of the house. With on and off thunder showers, they managed to do a professional and outstanding job. I highly recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter.

We purchased a new Trane system (XL18i a/c heat pump & TAM8 air handler) and also added one additional return line plus four new supply ducts and registers.   These guys were excellent, punctual and very professional.  They were constantly cleaning up after themselves in the 3 days they were at our home.  Their work is neat and well done. We obtained bids from three different contractors, including the one that had installed our last system 11 years ago.   Durham  was better in every aspect -- including cost -- for exactly the same equipment and more extras.   I have already recommended to friends and co-workers.
