Bolt Electric
Recent Review: Installing a larger exhaust fan meant getting in the attic, which is so full of insulation, I don't know how he got around! He had to take out the original fan and cut a hole for the larger fan. The tech was friendly and efficient. He gained our confidence in the company as a whole.

Recent Review: This is the fourth time I have used Bernard and Absolute. You can't get a better electrician. I originally signed up for Angies List on the 4th of July 2007 in a panic for an electrician. I read the reviews on Bernard and called him. Have used him for several things and he is the best. Just thought I would give him another great review. A++

Recent Review: Nathan was Great! He quickly and neatly removed 2 existing ceiling fans. Then assembled and installed 2 new fans and mounted the remotes. He also took the time, while here, to unhook a noisy exhaust fan in the kitchen, check some wires in my office and change the frequency on 1 of our porch fans. Great team, great service

Mr. Sparky
Recent Review: Mr. Sparky is an all in one company. They come to your home and price the work. If you are ready to proceed, they will begin the work immediately. The tech and I reviewed the scope of work. He then calculated a flat rate price with three options. The big difference between the options was the surge protectors (~$1,000). I agreed to the quote and the tech went to work. My home is not the easiest place to do electrical work. It was built in 1971, has several concrete interior walls and has little room to maneuver in the attic. I think that he believed that the work could be performed in one long day, but it took ~7 hours with one tech on the first day and 12 hours with two tech's on the second day. It really was a two man job. Someone had to work above the ceiling and one person had to work below. The quality of the work was good with the exception of some wall damage where a switch box needed to be extended. The hole left after the work was done was larger than the switch plate. The tech's were not equipped to deal with wall damage, so I was left to do the repairs. I am handy, so I could do the repairs. If that was not the case, I would have had to hire someone else to repair the wall. The rest of the work was fine. I was surprised by the price, but Mr. Sparky did everything turn-key (i.e. they provided everything). I could have saved money if I purchased some of the components myself. If you use them and know what you want done, go to Home Depot and get the parts yourself to avoid the mark-up. That's where they went to get the parts that they didn't have anyway. The tech's wore shoe covers, cleaned up and took all the garbage with them. They were professional and I believe the work they did was of good quality.

Luminous Electric
Award 2018Super Service Award
Recent Review: The original installation was nearly 3 decades old and had been done at the time of house original construction. The Luminous Electric technician, Dan, quickly analyzed the existing installation, removed the old fan, and installed the new fan (which I had purchased earlier). A 5-star experience in all respects. Highly recommended

Recent Review: I had a problem with my power (dimming lights, fridge kept turning off and on, a/c trying to restart). I called Tiffany and described it. She said to call Duke Energy, as it sounded like their equipment was at fault. She could have charged me for a service call to confirm that it was Duke's equipment, but she didn't! Duke came out and fixed it. I was so impressed about her being service oriented that I had them install 2 exhaust fans. I charged for only what I needed done. The technicians were polite and fast! The cost was less than some other estimates I got. This company is a keeper for me!

FORCE ELECTRIC INC
Recent Review: I called Force Electric once I determined that there was a rattle in the exhaust fan of my rental property.  It was covered in black dust--it almost looked burnt and I was a little panicky.  They came out the same day and were very courteous and helpful.  It ended up being an easy fix, for which I was thankful.  I rated them a "B" for price because I could have probably fixed it myself if I wasn't so thrown off by how it looked.  Overall, they were very good and I would use them again.

Adam and his assistant were great. Adam is very experienced and he was able to assess the job and complete it in a timely and expert fashion. They were replacing the 20 + year old model with a new one and because it was vented, they had to go up in the attic. At 2 PM in Florida the attic is extremely hot and not a fit place for man or beast, but they managed to get the job done in spite of the awful attic experience. I was both impressed and very pleased with their knowledge and fortitude. With my Angie's List discount, I saved $25 on the installation. I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again.

Pretty well overall. The men were on time and completed the job in the expected time frame. There was some damage to my recently re-glazed bathtub that I noticed after the men left (and I did hear a very loud noise while they were working) but the fan is installed, seems to be intact and is working fine. The owner responded the same day when I called, came to view the scratches/damage and agreed to pay for the it to be repaired. Except for that snafu, all went well.
