AExquisite Pool & Spa
They were awesome. It was a Pebble Tec finish of the concrete in-ground pool. There was a waterfall, brick pavers and all kinds of stuff. Everything about it was 100% great.

ABlueflex Pools
After some unbelievable experiences with pool cleaners I found a REAL GEM. Previously our pool cleaner of over 1 1/2 years collected 3 months pay and disappeared. NEXT a married couple were PAID VERY WELL for every little action they performed including lubing the filter top and kept suggesting WE SHOULD CLEAN the filter every day until the water turns blue again, [This would include my combat disabled 72 year old husband]. I thought that's what they're supposed to do?? Well back to Mike of Blueflex Pools. Price - Very reasonable - Personality - Great - Work ethic - EXCELLANT. Long story short Mike is currently attending to the pool for the forth day in a row and the pool which was DARK GREEN is now becoming a beautiful BLUE. Mike will be our guy for a long time as well as taking care of my son's nearby pool. Don't mess around with prima donnas - hire Mike who is also a veteran and a man of his word. Barbara C.

Went very well. Professional and punctual. Work done on time and within budget. Resurfaced an ugly, old 17 x 32 pool and surrounding deck to look like new.

AJR Pool Services LLC
Came out promptly, discussed services in detail. John (the company owner and sole employee) is very experienced, very professional, does all the work himself, has very high end equipment, is very accurate, very thorough, and does a tremendous job. Our landlord made us investigate the cost and necessity of replacing a filter as recommended by John, and I found, as expected, that it was absolutely needed as John had said, and that John was charging less than the retail price of the filter to replace and install it himself (talk about honest with good prices!). He is fantastic and very, very highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BFiberglass Plus
The quality of the resurfacing work was excellent. However, the leak repair was a problem. Fiberglass plus was required to pressure test all lines and repair any leaks. The pool had been leaking approximately 3/4" per day for the past few months. They found 2 leaks at the Jacuzzi jets and felt that the problem was resolved. I did not witness the pressure testing of the lines but was told that it was properly completed and no additional leaks were detected. a few weeks before the work started, I lowered the water level to isolate the leak and found that when the water level dropped below the skimmer level, the leak almost stopped. This info was passed on to the Fiberglass Plus crew on more than one occasion. I even requested that they coat the inside of the skimmer to seal any potential cracks/leaks in the skimmer shell. This was not completed. I was assured that the skimmer was not a problem. After the work was completed, the pool was refilled and the major leak continued. Discussed this with the owner. I opened up the skimmer and removed the basket. You could visibly see that the drain line at the bottom of the skimmer had separated and was leaking. When the owner arrived, he quickly repaired the leak. Evidently his crew felt that once they discovered the Jacuzzi leak, that the problem was solved and that no further leak testing was required. The owner was very apologetic and resolved the leak issue. I am sure that the owner has discussed/resolved this issue with his crew. I would use Fiberglass Plus in the future.

CWALDHAUER & SON INC
Overall it was unpleasant doing business with this company. It seemed like the only time they contacted us was to collect money as worked progress. They were way behind schedule in completing the pool (we entered into the contract with them in Feb. 2017, had projected their completion in June but they did not deliver it until August. They did not coordinate the work well among their various subcontractors. When we contacted them to find out the status as there were so many days that no one showed up, the staff could rarely tell us with any accuracy when someone would be coming and what they would be doing. They destroyed a lot of our irrigation system because they did not contact the subcontractor who was supposed to do work to save that system before they bulldozed our back yard. The workers always threw their trash away in the rubble of our back yard and in the pool hole. No one from Waldhauer bothered to visit the property to make sure the work was being done right. They forgot to include the handrail when they constructed the pool so after the pool was completed they had to drill a hole in the concrete, which came out messy. When they re-graded the land after completing the pool, they hauled away the piles of dirt that had the workers' trash entwined in it and were supposed to bring new dirt to fill in the ruts, but they didn't. We are happy with the pool; it looks and operates great (except for the roughly installed handrail which probably can't be fixed), but this could have been a so much better experience if Waldhauer would have bothered to monitor its contractors, review the work, and listen to the customer.

FAll Phase Pool Remodeling
, After I had signed the contract in March of 2014, work was to begin within 3 to 4 weeks.  However, it took repeated calls, emails, etc... because more than 7 weeks had passed and no work had started.  Moreover, AllPhase employees, were scheduled, but did not show up at the appointed day/time.  Again, it took multiple calls and emails for the work to be completed.  In addition, the ALLPhase work was shoddy, of poor quality, and they left concrete residue on the swimming pool handrails, and my swimming pool screen door.  They did come back and cleaned up the handrails, but the door could not be cleaned w/out removing the finish.  In addition, the swimming pool light had been left out for several months, I replaced the lens gasket and was not re-installed when the pool work was completed. At each stage of renovation, when I questioned who was going to re-install the light, their general response was the "next" crew.  To continue, the work crews broke a sprinkler head, and left their 10/x10' slurry box in my yard for more than a week, thus destroying my grass. I found it necessary to call the AllPhase owner to have it removed.  In addition, I wrote a letter to ALLPhase and outlined the latter, in hopes that they would reimburse for my costs; however they ignored my letter.  Finally, when AllPhase did show up to install the light, they had broken the bulb when they initially removed the light, and did not tell me; therefore,I had to replace the bulb at my cost, as well as, purchasing a new light lens gasket, because the original gasket had dried up and rotted because it had  left out in the sun.  in conclusion,  ALLPhase has stated, the swimming pool light is my problem and they are not responsible; consequently, I have to find another pool service to re-install the light at my expense.   Finally, I can't use my pool until the light has been fixed; this organization is very unprofessional  as displayed by their lack of responsibility in their dealings with customer's,and I give them the "lowest" of customer ratings, "do not use", find someone else.

FThe Pool House, a DBA of Coastline Environmental
This was BY FAR, the absolute WORST experience with a company that I have ever had. I cannot express enough how badly this company performed, and the level of unprofessionalism and absolute disregard for their clients that they had. We chose this company in part because they were a family-run company, and we liked the idea of helping small businesses in our community. The owner, Jeff, was very friendly and informative BEFORE they got our money. That all changed. First, we were given a 35 day timeline for our new inground spa (that was to be installed next to our existing inground pool). The project took 3 months, and wasn't even completed correctly. There are so many bad things that happened, I am just going to run down a list of some: - Numerous delays blamed on weather even though it wasn't always raining - Promised us verbally that our lawn would not be damaged, then proceeded to destroy 1/3 of our grass and refused to repair it - Stated verbally that they would redo our tile grout in the main pool, then refused, stating "Is it in the contract?" - Painted the deck the wrong color, had to repaint it (when they did we realized we didn't like the color and it had to be repainted a third time, but the last one was our fault, and we understand that since we made a poor color choice) - Stained the bottom of our pool with concrete, took over a month to repair that, and when they did, they left permanent ruts in our pool interior - The owner, Jeff, was IMPOSSIBLE to reach, and always had someone else returning our phone calls, even when we asked to speak directly to him (we had no trouble reaching him BEFORE he got our money) - They put in a stone deck around the spa, which we had many headaches with them and the construction of, and we were actually told by their employee who installed it that it was his FIRST time ever laying down a stone deck! And yet he did it unsupervised. - When we attempted to speak about our numerous complaints with the owner (when we were finally able to reach him), he was rude to me, yelling at me, and told me "you've got two ears and one mouth so shut it and listen." - After the project was completed, our light inside the pool that they installed completely fell off and we had to pay another person to have it reinstalled - We discovered after they completed the job that they had done the plumbing wrong, and had to pay another company to fix it I could actually go on for much longer, but I think anyone reading this has gotten the point. DON'T let them fool you with their sales pitch, they are a ruthless, money-hungry company with no integrity and quite frankly, I cannot believe they are even still in business.

FPool Care by Weidenhamer
The level of customer service is despicable. After a sub-par installation of an above ground pool, not only did they refuse to admit it was wrong but also refused to replace the pieces that were coming off, just jammed them back on or applied rubber cement to fix. Do yourself a favor, use another company. One that is nationally known and Better Business Bureau accredited. Even after reaching out to the better business bureau with photos, the business still denied fault and made outrageous accusations and absurd excuses.

DED'S SPAS SOLAR & POOLS INC
Our pool was finished approximately 13 mos. ago. We have a nice looking pool that was finished in reasonable time. Problems include breaking an area of the driveway and not repairing it, one section of the piping done incorrectly, solar pipe leak, paint flaking off fountain, escutcheons corroded, etc. There is a total lack of response to problems; phone calls are not returned, emails and letters, including one from an attorney, received no answer. Promises are made but not kept. “Pool School” was hap-hazard, and we resorted to utube videos for instruction. The contract is totally one sided in favor of the contractor. (My bad for not reading it carefully.) There obviously is no warranty as we have been totally ignored. I would never recommend this company.

Recent Review: Due to very large, mature trees surrounding home, solar roof panels would be an inefficient solution to expanding pool usability. This would be especially true in the winter with the low angle of the southern tracking sun. After reviewing up front and operational costs, we opted to go with one of the new, high efficiency heat pumps. Within a week of agreeing on exact model and price, Wayne's Solar did the installation. They had the hardware and plumbing completed before lunch. The electrician followed thereafter, installing a new breaker in our southern wall circuit box, running wire the entire length of the house attic and dropping the conduit down the northern wall to a new disconnect box, then complete wiring to unit. The entire process was completed in less than seven hours. All workers were very professional and knowledgeable, answering questions thoroughly and with a smile.

Recent Review: We updated this review. Mike has completed our pool to our satisfaction. I can now recommend him for anyone looking for a pool contractor. Initially we had to write a less favorable review, but since he came out and took care of the unfinished business I am not a happy customer.

Recent Review: I have a 12,000 gallon spa & pool combination and the pump died.  I purchased a pump from online but decided to replace the filter at the same time.  The old filter was a cartridge type that I had to maintain weekly by removing and hosing off the inside paper cartridge.  I contacted the store for help and recommendations on the type of filter that would best suite my needs.  I had contacted a few other pool service companies and did not get very much information.  They would only tell me what type of filter they thought was best but didn't really tell me the pros and cons of each type or specifically how I would have to maintain it in my pool configuration.   When I contacted Matt's Pool Service, an associate named Chris took the time to tell me specifics on how often I would need to clean the filter, backwash, and even specifics on additives for every type of filter so I could actually make an informed decision.  I also obtained a very reasonable quote for purchasing and installing the DE filter plus installing the pump which I had already purchased.  The install was done while I was at work, but the area was reasonably clean.  There was some powder around the skimmer access and quite a bit of dirt on the outside pad, but nothing we couldn't easily clean up. The pump had a leak at one of the connections. I contacted the service again to address the pump leak.  I was also concerned about the power of the pump, since it was two speed and seemed too weak on low.  I spoke with Matt and he said he would send someone to fix the pump right away.  About the pump, he took the time to recommend an automation system that I could use to save money by having the pump switch from low to high automatically.  He also told me about the convenience of having the automation to turn my spa and heater on and off without having to go outside and switch all the valves.  It seemed like a great idea, so I scheduled them to fix the pump leak and install the automation this week.  So far, they have been very helpful.  I will update once the repair and automation install is complete.
