Recent Review: Think South was referred to us by the original builder and realtor pending a move to the house.  They had painted the house when it was built in early 2000's.  The work was good and for the most part the management was responsive.  I think for the area the price was slightly higher than in other southern areas. For the cost the trim should have been done. Coming in from another state, we had the work done on references.

Recent Review: Chris Mitchell and his crew were polite and professional. Experts in painting and carpentry. Their competence was evident from the day he viewed the proposed job and made recommendations. Went above and beyond to show quality work and meet our needs. Paid attention to detail and took pride in making sure the job was done right. Cleaned up after themselves. Were considerate and careful around our small children. Very reasonable pricing. Completed job in a timely manner. Stayed true to his estimate for the original job and didn't charge me an arm and a leg when I added a few more requests to the to-do list. It can be tough to find reliable professionals sometimes. These guys are trustworthy and dependable. Top notch contractor. Put your money on these guys and you get a worry-free experience.

AVillani Painting
John shows up when he says he will, his estimates are accurate, his pricing is fair, and his work is impeccable.  When John's team paints trim, you would swear they used an artist's brush. John Villani and his crew are true professionals, and although he does larger homes in our area, he gives every bit as much attention to my smaller house.   Just as importantly, I feel very comfortable with John and his crew in my home while I am at work.  They are extremely respectful of property and leave the work zone live-in ready.  I will be using them in a few months to refinish some cabinets, and have heard from friends that their cabinet work is top-notch as well.

DCustom Home Improvements
Chris likes to smoke and talk on the phone. I am still walking over cigarette butts in garage and yard. The quality of work performed by his helper/friend was great, Him I would hire again. Was told he would use a blower to blow out floor and garage trash debris (butts, sawdust, etc), he did not. Do NOT pay Chris Napper by the hour!! Get an estimate you can agree on and pay lump sum. The job was drug out longer than was needed in order to be paid more. The last day chris was not here the entire time and the 2nd person that i paid for in his place was a waste of space, he did nothing worthwhile. The replaced garage door has a gap at the top easily seen. To sum up. Do NOT pay Chris Napper by the hour. Work will be drug out if you do. Expect minimum quality of work. Do not look for promises to be kept.

FMichael's Complete Home Maintenance
Started off ok but within two weeks they began to be late and not respond to phone calls or texts. Work was not done on time as promised. Would only come for an hour or two or only late in the day, then would say they'd be back and never come back. Also texted they were coming and never show. Would start on the next project to ask for more money but did not finish ANY project completely. Monica, Michael's wife, called me at work one day around 2:00 to tell me they would not be working that day because Michael had disappeared, she had not seen him since 8:00 the previous night. He showed up with her the next day, she said he got stopped and had outstanding tickets. They left our two additional bathrooms without water for over a month and left the faucet stuck in the vanity but not installed. Had asked Monica to paint the hall bath the same color as the family room (a taupe) and came in to her painting it a yellow, when I questioned her she said it was the same color but Lowes did a sorry job of matching colors. Michael told us he could fix a crack in our popcorn ceiling, Monica did the work and when it dried it had started to crack again, then Michael fixed it and the next day there was a grapefruit sized bubble a few inches from the crack. We asked them to just scrape off the popcorn and paint the ceiling. A few days later my husband came home sick and I came home to check on him. Monica working in the hall bath and a young man I had never seen was scraping the family room ceiling, there were no covers on any furniture or the floor. Monica said she had to leave to pick up something but would be right back. I had to return to work. That night we discovered my husbands tablet was missing, there were dusty white fingerprints on his suede backpack. Texted Micheal about it and he said he would get it back. He did, apologized and said the he had known the workers Aunt who asked hin to employ the young man before she passed away. I kept asking for his name and they would not tell me. Then I received a call from the guy (Michael gave the guy my cell # without my permission-told me he thought it was the right thing to do) who stated he was a kleptomaniac and couldn't help it and was under a Dr's care. He asked what else was stolen from my house, said just tell him and he would look for it and return it. I asked if he did' know what he had stolen from me and he said no, he had lots of stuff he had taken at his house and didn't remember where he had taken what. So it is Nov. and I started this in July. I will be taking action to report them and reclaim the money I am now spending to redo their poor work.
