Recent Review: Ronnie responded almost immediately to my request. He told me when he would arrive at my home and called me on the way to verify that he was on his way. He assessed the broken door, gave me an estimate of what the cost of repair would be. He then left to obtain the necessary materials and contacted me again to let me know he was on his way back to my house. He fixed the door as promised and was very pleasant and professional. I would certainly hire him again.
Recent Review: Everything went extremely well. The door had to be custom made to fit the opening. We were asked what features we wanted in the door and the salesperson inquired about items we had not even thought about. Installation was very professional and thorough. Folker's did all of the legwork also in acquiring the work permit which was quickly signed off on when the inspector reviewed the work. Awesome stuff! We paid more for the service and quality; however, it was well worth the money spent.

They came at 7:30, on time. They were ready to work, were professional, and will be back in October to put the rest of the windows in!

CWindow World of Mobile
It took 7 weeks to get the windows installed from the date I ordered them. When they showed up at 9:00 a.m. for the install the paperwork was incorrect. The French door they brought was not the right size, when they called the office for the correct door no one answered so they told me they would bring it back the next day and install the door. The men put in the windows and left at around 4:00 p.m. The lead installer told me he would be back the next day to finish the trim on the windows and that it would only take a few hours to complete ( he still had several hours of daylight to complete the job). I agreed that he could come back the following day because he still needed to install my door. He said he would arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m , he arrived at 11:50 without my door. No apology for being late. He finished the windows in a few hours just as he said. We called the company all week, finally they told us they had the door but it would be two weeks before the installer would have time to get to it. Not acceptable, my husband talked them into installing the door the following Sunday. The office told us the installer would arrive at 9:00 a.m he arrived at 11:30 a.m. Again no apology for being late. Finally every thing is complete and looks good but I will not use them again because of poor customer service.

CChris's Home Repair
Chris had given us a price per project as opposed to an hourly rate (which would have been our preference). He arrived slightly earlier than scheduled which was fine. He worked about a total of 7 hours and 15 minutes and the charge was $640. That comes out to an hourly rate slightly above $88/hour, which we felt was high for a handyman. He could not correctly install the screen door, which my wife had to discover before he left as opposed to him telling us that. He did not install the screw covers on the inside of the french door saying he did not want to get them dirty. The threshold of the french door had no support in the garage and will buckle with time unless we build something to support it. He is a very pleasant man. We just felt the hourly rate was high compared to his skill level.

Ralph gave me very good prices on work to be done. The work he performed was done very well and he and his co-worker were always very punctual with their arrival. The only gripe I have is, on multiple occasions, the work done was not as thorough as I would have liked, however, they were done per 'the list' that Ralph wrote down. It would have been in my best interest to review the list before confirming our business agreement to avoid misunderstandings come pay time. All in all, good handy man to have as a resource. I will use again.

Professional, on time, wrong fixtures, corrected within a week. Paper trail was dropped and when I went to refinance it showed work was "started" called and matter was taken care of.

DEcoView Windows and Doors
The salesman called and asked if he could come early which was no issue. He arrived 10 minutes late though. Showed him all the windows, a total of 21. He spent about 20-30 minutes calculating the price for the Windows in his truck. Did a nice demo of the windows for us that actually was pretty good. Then the sales tactics started. He quoted us a retail price, then showed us a price with a 5% discount. Explaining that if we called tomorrow or within 30 days, that would be our price. He then showed us a price that was a total of 20% off and claimed that it was not a high pressure sales tactic, but that if we didn't sign right then, we would not get that price. He mentioned that there were 15 house in Daphne that he could show me that have their windows installed. So I asked, "Can I go look at those houses before making a decision?" He said no, we'd have to sign right then. He'd be willing to go outside and let us discuss it for 15 minutes, but we had to sign to get the "good" price, which he said was excellent several time. You couldn't do anything to check that price though. He named off all the competitors over and over. I don't believe I've ever met a Window salesmen that was so high pressure and kept say its not a high pressure tactic.... Definitely would not recommend.
