Recent Review: I am not sure what each visit cost, but for the spraying services, it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-60 dollars.I hired Trugreen because I had terrible bug problems in my yard, and I didn't want to deal with fertilizing. The price was not all that much higher than what I would have paid for chemicals at Home Depot, so I decided to give them a shot. I was dealing with spiral whiteflies, ordinary whiteflies, lawn grubs, two kinds of thrips, millipedes, chinch bugs, mealybugs...I can't even recall all of the pests. My trees had sooty mold from the whiteflies. Plants were dying because of the other pests. I had a serious lawn weed problem. A Trugreen rep came by and told me about their services, and I decided to give them a try. They sprayed my lawn, trees, and shrubs. They also did a $120 lawn aeration. They were supposed to fertilize everything, kill the weeds, and do pest control. After several months, the yard had responded well to the fertilizer, but the weeds showed no change at all, and the bug problems had gotten worse. A Trugreen tech who was spraying the lawn tried to sell me the shrub and tree treatment, pointing out the sooty mold problem. He didn't know his company was already working on it, and that their efforts had not succeeded. I gave up and bought imidacloprid, snail pellets, Amdro, and weed spray at Home Depot. I applied the weed killer to part of my yard, and the weeds Trugreen could not kill died within a week. That told me everything I needed to know. Maybe they were using the wrong chemicals. Whatever the reason, it was time to cancel. I have poured imidacloprid on the bases of the trees afflicted with whiteflies and mold, and they are improving fast. This took about three minutes per tree, and a $13 jug of Bayer imidacloprid (lasts three months) will treat a number of trees. I am still waiting to see results in the lawn. I would rather have someone else deal with this, but I could not get results from the pros. I am still planning to use Trugreen for soil aeration. I have no complaints about their professionalism, prices, or manners. They did try to sell me extra services, but they were not obnoxious about it. If their chemicals had worked, I would still be using Trugreen. Maybe they need to quit using Talstar and get something that works better.

Reviews for Lawn Aeration in Miami Beach

It went exactly as described and expected. They scheduled ahead, were prompt and cleaned up when they left. The guys on site were very polite and answered all of my questions. They helped move the trampoline, also. My lawn looked better after a week. It's much better after about 3 weeks. I would definitely recommend the service.

They came when they said they would. They gave us a very honest estimate. They followed through when they said they would. Even after the job was done they followed up with us and made changes. I am very happy with them.

When we decided to go to a professional company, my wife and I pondered whether it was worth the money since much of what they do is simply applying what one can buy at a store (in our opinion), but our lawn and shrubs needed help. Well, we can say now that we will not ever make this mistake again. The issues are numerous so far: (1) aeration was done incorrectly and had to be redone; (2) crab grass was not identified as such for a long time, causing so much damage (and aggravation) that I charged back the entire year on our credit card until they came out to kill that area of the grass- then it took a long time to re-sod it (which they did to their credit); (3) weeds that were an issue in May are still an issue in October; (4) numerous call backs because what they were spraying simply did not seem to work; (5) employees seem to not know enough, an example being the notation that our Palm trees were all healthy when, in fact, one was dying (subsequently removed).

My pond was a dark mucky-mess.  After going through 2 other contractors, one which never did the job right and the other who installed aquarium equipment in my pond, I found liquidscape on the internet.  Robert and Kevin knowledge of ponds, plants, etc is amazing.  They told me exactly what was wrong, cleaned everything,  replaced equipment that was not working.  They listened and dealt with all of my concerns and my pond now is  beautiful and sparkly clean. I am very happy and I highly recommend them.

I was a TruGreen customer for about two years.  I have wanted to cancel for about a year (because I realized that it was a waste of money because the service does nothing), but I got busy and put it off.  These two years have left me stunned that they could remain in business with their methods.  In the interest of space, I will list the points that stand out in my mind to hopefully convey that if you want to add frustration and ridiculousness to your life, then definitely stop reading now and call TruGreen.     My swale acts as a placebo because TruGreen did not service it (at my request).  After 20 months of quarterly service, my swale looks better than my lawn.  Go figure. My grass has constantly had a problem since TruGreen began, and with every treatment, a new "problem" arose.  I have now been without Trugreen for six months, and my law looks better than it has in years. I paid $350 for aeration that they said I "needed" because the soil was "thatchy" - six months after I had gutted and sodded the whole lawn.  I now realize that I was cheated and that accepting the aeration service so soon after a newly sodded lawn was my own fault for being uneducated. I got a new credit card number after my wallet was stolen, and the auto-pay was - naturally - declined.  Well, instead of calling me, TruGreen ceased service and sent inflammatory letters to my home.  What makes this IMPORTANT TO YOU is that lawns are unique in that a small lack of attention takes a disproportionate amount of time to ameliorate.  The fact that I missed a $61 payment because my auto-pay got declined as a result of my wallet being stolen should not have resulted in rude letters and a cessation of service - when a simple phone call would have solved the problem. The phone situation is a disaster.  I have spent hours at a time trying to get a manager or supervisor on the line.  No need to explain; just try it yourself, but be sure to take plenty Advil beforehand. FYI, one of their tactics is to constantly blame you for everything.  For example, over the course of 6 months, I was told that I was over-watering.  So, at each visit, I did as instructed and reduced the watering regime.  When I was down to one day a week, the service guy told me that I needed to water even LESS.  When I told him I was down to one day a week, he left a ticket that said that I had UNDER-watered.  I was like WTH, so I called, but I could not get a manager to help.  It was like slamming my head against a wall. I could continue, but the point is that I give this company an ?F? because TruGreen fails in every measurable statistic except perhaps in their marketing.   In the strongest words possible, I recommend you use another company for your lawn care.  Please see my other reviews to know that I do not go around disparaging companies.  If I could give TruGreen lower than an F, I certainly would.  I hope this review has saved you a headache and prevented you from purchasing snake oil.

Had seen them around my neighborhood, and called them Prices were explained, informed them I had a coupon for the first treatment. Treatment was scheduled and I was assured I would be called first before they came out so I could discuss the plan for my yard. Three days later, I received notification that my treatment had been completed. They sent a pdf, didn't leave anything on my door as they were supposed to, so I went to my security cameras where I see two men using machines to "aerate" my yard, basically poking holes in it. I have 3296 sq. ft. of treatable area, this being measured by them via the google earth satellite photo--what a joke! for this hole-poking, I was charged 145.95. Then I was informed that service was next scheduled for May 31st. In fact TWO services had been scheduled--one for a "potash" treatment, and the second to spray insecticide and fertilizer. I was home, and received notification that the techs were on there way within a certain time period, and the techs were named. I then got notification that the potash service had been completed, again between 12:51-12:54 PM. THREE whole minutes to apply granules to over 3200 sq.ft of treatable lawn! I again went to my security areas, and the tech, Leroy, did in fact pull up in front of my house--BUT NEVER GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK. He promptly drove away at 12:54! I was lucky he might have put the truck in park! The other tech, David G., came out after that and I told him what had happened, and he was very apologetic and saw for himself nothing had been applied to my yard. He and his trainee were extremely professional, and I had to leave during the treatment application, but they left a summary at my door to read later. Again, today, I received notification that the tech was coming to perform a treatment, again a lawn spray, and I was home and received notification that the service had been completed. I pulled the pdf file, and the time said 10:33-10:34 am completed. I again went to my security cameras, and as I suspected, NO ONE SHOWED UP. As I had already called them numerous times to complain, and a customer service rep, Darryl Johnson had called me to beg for a second chance, I have had enough. This was the second chance, and they continued the same shady behavior. If I had not had my cameras, I never would have known this shady practice and fraudulent billing for services NOT rendered would have been going on. I was promised refunds for the potash treatment that never materialized, and will complain loudly to anyone if they ever ask about this company. They are fraudulent, and you are lucky if you get what they promise. How many other unsuspecting customers are they doing this to??
