Recent Review: Initially went fine. Showed up on time, did the work, ordered a part. When part came in scheduled return trip 3-5pm to install the part. Called at 4:50, arrived 5:15, and was here until about 6:30pm. That wasn't the evening we were counting on based on the appointment, so it messed that up. When we went to use the oven, noticed the bottom plate curved up from the heat. Apparently the screw that was put back was not secure and it popped out. I tried to put it back in but it was clearly not going to be so simple. Scheduled for a return visit another day. Repairman showed up as scheduled and it took a bit he finally got it. Overall the work got done, fair price, very nice technician. It was just the lateness of the second appointment + the missing screw to make it worse that had us leave a less than perfect rating.

Recent Review: Associate was very professional, It took about a week to evaluate problem and order part and replace it. Appointments were on time and the associate, I believe his name is Troy explained what the problem was and offered suggestions to avoid the same problem in the future. Was very satisfied with service although I thought it was pretty pricy but I don't know the price of the part. Would not recommend Samsung products but would recommend Mr. Appliance

Recent Review: Called Ray at 8:20 PM last night, received a call back 5 minutes later. Scheduled a visit to a condo property I own for 12:30 PM today. Ray called at Noon and said he was on time and would be at the property at 12:30 which was the time he arrived. He spent approx 30 minutes diagnosing the problem on the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator, and gave a very reasonable price for parts and repair. $500 to replace compressor and copper tubing in and out of compressor; much better than spending $1700 to replace the fridge. Said he'll give me a call as soon as the parts arrive within the next 3-4 days. I asked if he had time to stop by my house to look at my GE Monogram oven door and he did; spent a little more than 30 minutes taking the door apart to tighten the handle, charged me 30 dollars. He just left and it's 1:45PM - less than 18 hours since my initial call to Ray's. Ray is a soft-spoken professional who clearly knows his way around appliances; Will be calling Ray again next time we have appliance issues; will also be recommending him to my friends and family. An excellent experience in terms of service and cost; especially when compared to bigger service companies that charge a ridiculously high service call fee in addition to the hourly rate with serviceman constrained by company policies.

Recent Review: Control unit in oven began operating unreliably.  Because of the age of the microprocessor, no replacement part was readily available.  Capritta isolated the problem, located a replacement unit, and competently made the repair in about a week's time (due to shipping time for the part.)  Very professional and capable repairman.  Office communicated status well and managed scheduling to our satisfaction.

Recent Review: It only took two hours for the technician/owner to appear on my doorstep once I called for service. I have used this appliance repair company two other times in the past and have had an have had nothing but prompt and excellent service. I would recommend them highly. On all of the occasions I've used them they were very reasonable and extremely prompt in responding. I should mention that he did not supply the part, as I had ordered it from the manufacturer. He also informed me I had overpaid for the part by about 60%.

DMr. Appliance of the Treasure Coast & Space Coast
The first appointment was on 8/22/12 at my home. Technician was very neat and professional. Said oven needed a thermostat and had to order the part. When the part came in the office called and we scheduled a visit for 9/5/12, since we were going out of state the last week of August. We had just landed in NJ when I had a message on my phone that they had a cancellation and were coming the next day! Instead of verifying with me first that the date was okay they left it up to me to call them and cancel if it was not convenient. I thought this was very rude and told them to just leave the date as I had scheduled it. On the second visit on 9/5/12 a different technician came out and said the wrong thermostat was ordered. He had to order the correct one and then come back. The third appt to install another thermostat was on 9/12/12. A different technician came out but after making the repair did not let the oven run long enough to see if the problem was solved. The problem returned almost immediately after he left, necessitating another call to the office. The fourth visit a week later on 9/19/12 a technician again came out and removed the newly installed thermostat and said the first technician misdiagnosed the problem and the board had to be replaced, a more costly repair. He left and we had to decide whether to continue with the repair, since by now I had doubts that they could fix it, or buy a new oven. He said they would apply the price of the wrong part to the part we needed. We decided to go ahead and let them fix it so another return visit was scheduled. They came out a fifth time on 9/26 and were finally able to fix the oven. It took over a month and numerous phone calls, not to mention time off from work, since they only work Monday through Friday, and cannot give you a time other than 8-12 or 1-5. On at least 2 occasions they did not come at the scheduled times. Although they were very neat and courteous I do not have faith in the capabilities of the repair technicians and I would not chance using them again.

The entire job took six months and it was extensive. The structural portions of this job went well.  It was not until the job began to wind down that quality, integrity and knowledge became an issue. All kitchen and bath cabinets were installed in haste. The toe kicks on all but one cabinet did not match and one bathroom had none at all. Kitchen cabinets had distress marks, puncture dots, cracks or black smudges.  Pocket Door latches were chiseled and left unpainted. A pencil was used to shim the track of a pocket door.  The bar with a 2.5 X 6 ft piece of granite on top was never properly supported from the floor.  A support was built but it never connected to the bar cabinets.  Electrical work was not done by an electrician nor the plumbing by a plumber.  A licensed electrician was interviewed for this job shortly after entering the contract, but due to cost, he was not hired. Our double wall oven install lacked  base support  and was improperly wired.  I had the contractor return to re-do the oven installation.  At the same time they also had to make a repair to the cabinet housing the oven, which was splitting due to stress.  This was a perfect opportunity for the contractor to fix the wiring issue but they did not address it. The second attempt was also incorrect.  The lower oven door was rubbing on the bottom trim piece.  The oven was not level.  You could see the jagged edge of the cabinet cut out along the top of the oven.  I decided to have an appliance contractor come out and attempt to install the double oven properly.  When it was taken out of the cabinet housing, we discovered the wiring to the oven was an even bigger problem. The same electrician who had been interviewed but not hired was called in to fix the wiring. The oven was left a 3 wire when the they were supposed to bring ALL electrical up to code, which should have made the oven a 4 wire.  Nothing about the wiring of this oven was correct, would NOT have passed code. You do not have to be a professional trade to notice shoddy work.  Due to the lack of care factor displayed when my job came to an end, I did not wish to have the contractor return to fix any issues I came across.  I have since, hired other contractors, licensed in the trade for which each project correction required.  I have given Mr. Macik in writing and pictures, a detailed note expressing my disappointment in how this job closed and brought him up to date on what has been done to correct the original remodel, mistakes,  He has made no attempt to reply to my email.

Had Eric (manager) with trainee come out on 5/22/2018. Identified problem and said he needed to order part. Said he would get back with me to give me ETA of next appointment. Never did hear back from him until I started calling everyday and speaking to receptionist. Finally, today he was in office. He apologized saying part is on back order from GE with no foreseeable ship date and maybe another repair company may have it in stock. He said he would not charge us the 79.00 diagnostic visit fee.

I called Capri on Friday, just before the Memorial Day weekend.  They sent a repairman on Monday, a holiday, no extra charge.  The lady answering the phone was very efficient, and pleasant.  I was called shortly before his arrival, he was on time.  Mark the repairman was very courteous, efficient and explained things well.  The work is guaranteed for 30 days. This company is definitely my new service company.  Very knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, short wait time for a repair,  Things were kept neat.  I recommend this company and Mark very highly.

I chose Capritta because of positive Angie's List reviews.  We needed to have an oven repair on a Dacor range.  Mark came to our home the first visit and spent 2 hours troubleshooting the problem.  Subsequent to the first visit, three more visits were required, but the problem was finally identified and corrected.  I received extremely professional and competent help from more than one technician and prompt scheduling of visits.  Mark was always on time, professional and dedicated to resolving the problem.  I had committed to fix Thanksgiving dinner for my family.....Mark promised I would have a working oven in time for the big day.....and the problem was resolved the day before!  Thank you, Mark, and Capritta!
