Recent Review: Mike and his partner were amazing! They were always on time, efficient and were great with recommending what materials to use and providing an estimate of how much they would cost. Their labor charges were very reasonable, although not the cheapest work around, their quality of work is definitely work the very little extra money you would spend. They are honest, dependable and hardworking. I would definitely use Trubuilt Improvements again. We have already referred them to as many people has we could.

Recent Review: All of the staff (sales, installation) were easy to deal with and worked hard to get things done quickly. Works installed the flooring in one day, and completely cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job and I have no problem recommending them to others. The work was done professionally.
Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.
Recent Review: Worked with us to provide information in the format needed to get correct insurance reimbursement. They were flexible with us on scheduling the work when it would be convienent for us. They were reliable, punctual, courteous, and professional while doing the work. They left the work area clean when they were done. The started on time, and finished the job on time. They were terrific and pleasant to work with during all phases of the job from getting the estimate to completion. The floors are beautiful.
Recent Review: Absolutely Amazing job! Professional, quick, and tidy! We are renovating and began tearing up the floors ourselves. When it took about 3 hours to remove 15 square feet- bits and pieces of the 20+ year old laminate, and glue stilled remained, with dust everywhere, we called Charles who immediately came to our rescue! They just finished the job and it was worth every penny! We cannot thank Speedy Floor Removal enough!!
Recent Review: Since we did not know the color of carpet when the estimate was drawn up, one was picked to complete the estimate. We did pick another color weeks before the installation but this didn't get passed on to the installation order and they brought out the wrong color carpet. When the carpet was being installed, we noted the incorrect color of the carpet and the work stopped, leaving a piece of carpet up in the doorway to the room that my wife tripped over and put a hairline crack in her knee. It was still up two days later until I called the Installation Manager and he came out to the home and had the installers tack the carpet down (they were installing the vinyl plank). After another week the correct color arrived and it did get installed. That's when I noticed a hole in the wall. When I asked the installers about it they admitted that they made the hole (about 4" - 5" in diameter) in the wall when installing the incorrect color carpet and that they had brought with them a patch kit. The hole did get patched after the correct color carpet was installed. The installation of the vinyl plank went as good as can be expected. There was a lot of dust during the project, more than I thought there would be. However, there was some subflooring that needed to be replaced and between the sawing and removal of the subflooring and the sanding required to make everything even for the planks, well, we just weren't expecting those repairs and much of the dust I attribute to that. In the kitchen, quarter-round was installed around the edges of the floors but none of the trim underneath was removed. I was told that it would cost $1.25 per linear foot to do that. I would have thought that this would have been part of the installation process but I guess since it wasn't on the installation order it wasn't done. That left a noticeable gap at the top of the quarter-round. I was able to negotiate filling that gap with Silicone sealant as we just wanted the job to be completed and them out. It was no charge for that. All in all, the correct carpet and vinyl planking look really good. They did a good job installing the carpet and vinyl plank, just the details needs some improvement.

Recent Review: This service was absolutely excellent. I have recieved many compliments from people on my flooring and they wanted to know who did it. It has been over 6 months and the floor still looks great. It was done in a timely manner. They were very clean during installation and did not make a mess in my home. They were also punctual.

I'm impressed! These guys showed up on time, came every day (Even came Sunday) until my home was complete. I am particularly picky and the quality was exceptional. If there is a flaw in any of their work, I can't find it. Refreshing experience with a contractor. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

They were on time, neat and clean in the work; thorough; had an excellent customer service attitude; took the time to do the finishing touches that distinguishes a good contractor from a mediocre one.

AFlorida Dust-Free Tile Removal
Everything went smooth from initial estimate to final clean up. Everyone was clean, punctual, professional and seemed to sincerely care that I was happy with their work. I can strongly recommend this company. In fact, they will be who I hire when I am ready to remove all of the tile in the master bath when I remodel it. They really were dust-free. I had zero cleanup to do after they left. Great job!

Today (8/30/2012) Empire Today is supposed to install the floor. We did not hear from them yesterday as to when they are coming to do this and here it is 9 AM, no installers, and no phone call. Not a good way to start out! This morning we also realized that by adding flooring, on top of existing flooring, will make it difficult to remove a dishwasher should we need repair or purchase a new one. I hope the installers have an idea about how to handle this!!! Right now I am not impressed with Empire Today and am beginning to be very sorry we hired them.

FLUCAS & GARYS HOME MAKE OVERS
He started off doing a decent job. He never took the trash away. The carport was filled to the brim with trash. I had to remove all of his trash. He never finished the work. There were a lot of small things like the wood across the threshold. I had to pay him every week because he couldn't pay his helper. He also charged some of his tools to an open account that I had a hardware store. I never got reimbursed for that. The people I know in town, as well as myself, were not happy with him or his work. They showed up when they felt like it.

AOCEAN FLOORS OF THE KEYS INC
At the outset of the project, they were the flooring sub-contractors for the builder who was in charge of our remodeling project (D'Asign Source - also of Marathon). When they saw the condition of the old sub-floor, they told the builder that it needed to be leveled before installing the new floor. The builder chose to instruct them to go ahead and install the new floor without leveling the sub-floor first. On completion of the installation, the new bamboo floor was "spongy" and sank up to 1/2" in numerous places. We declined to accept the floor and chose to have Ocean Floors install a "new" new floor over the "old" new floor. They finished the installation a couple of days ago and we are absolutely delighted with the result. We would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

ATropic Floors Inc
Time was a critical factor. We moved cross country to live on our new boat/home and needed to get the flooring installed before the movers brought our furniture a few days before Thanksgiving 2013. There was a delay from one of Tropic Floors' suppliers, making it look like the flooring for the main deck would not arrive in time. Mike went above and beyond to make a 6 hour round trip to personally pick up the (very heavy) flooring and bring it to our boat for a timely installation. The installation itself was impeccable and the flooring beyond our expectations. Maintenance is simple and satisfying ~ Swiffer dust, followed by Swiffer wet mop and the floors are gorgeous!

ADesigner Lifestyles LLC
Designer Lifestyles will be my go to company from here on out. I needed a large sun porch tiled before a gathering at my home and Designer Lifestyles was able to get the job quickly and impeccably done. We love our new floor! Their showroom on Cassat Avenue has tons of material to choose from with prices to match anyone's budget. The showroom sales staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. The crew that did our job were professional and very detailed oriented. They are truly craftsmen who care about the work they do. Very Clean and Respectful of my home as well. We will definitely use them again and recommend them highly!

while buying a home my Realestate agent recommended them, as we were touring the home for the second time I explained exactly what we needed do. a few hours later he sent a job price with the work we needed do. basically we supply all the materials floor tiles light fixtures etc. I agreed to the estimate and had a cashiers check to him that afternoon with work to start the Monday after we closed. he showed up at 2 in the afternoon and started demo without a dumpster just throwing old laminate in my front yard and carpet and padding. Even thou a dumpster was in the original estimate one was never delivered. he would show up late and leave early making excuses and then towards the end of him working on my home he started to no show for days and eventually weeks at a time. the person he hired to do my floors was sloppy getting thin set all over base boards chipping expensive tiles the paint was also poorly applied with door casings and baseboards painted over. I later found out at the building and permit office that no permits were pulled and he was also not licensed in Florida to do plumbing or electrical work. I had to hire both a electrician and a plumber to come out and fix issues that this company messed up. in the end he took a 13 day no show time after i gave him another money draw. He had already passed his dead line per our contract and had junk all around my home. So he demoed my home did a super poor paint job and finished nothing, leaving me with bills from other contractors and still unfinished home.
