Recent Review: It was very good. Mr Love, a project foreman, came out looked at the house, gave us several options, prices and explained good, better and best.  We chose like a mid range.  The gentleman who installed were excellent and worked nonstop from the time they got there until the evening.  There was no AC in the house so they had to install ductwork and cut into the attic.  My neighbors saw them working and came and got a quote.  The price they gave us was almost $3000 cheaper then anyone else.

Blairs Air Conditioning And Heating
Recent Review: Back in 2006 we had our air conditioning installed by Blairs and they did a good job, but then we recently had Florida Power come out and do an energy survey and they found a few problems from the installation of the unit. It had been so long ago that I really didn't think they would respond if I contacted them, but I thought...I'll just go ahead and give it a try. I sent an E-mail to Blairs and lo and behold, I got a response from them.. He said he would like to talk about the problems we encountered and set up a time to come out and do that. He sat and listened to our complaints and then took a look around and said he saw some problems and explained that the people who originally installed our Unit were no longer there, but he would talk with the owner of the company and get back with us.Well, he asked if we would give him a couple of days and of course we said yes. He contacted us and told us that they wanted to make it right, which they offered to do. He came out and sat down again with us and told us what they would do to make the situation right. It was more than we could have asked for and we were very satisfied with the end result.Blairs and especially Paul Childers, in our opinion, deserves a lot of praise and we would recommend them to anyone! They are a very honest company and we had originally heard about them from Channel 13, so we knew they would be a good company to deal with. We have had some really bad experiences with companies in the past, but believe that they are easy to deal with, prompt in their return calls and go above and beyond in their service. People are easy to deal with and they do a good job. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Recent Review: Mr. Sanchez correctly identified and safely removed the source of mold in our home. He also identified other concerns such as dryer lint in the attic (a potential fire hazard), poor insulation and inadequate and dirty air conditioner ducts. He recommended gutters around the front of the house to keep rainwater from eroding the pavers on our driveway (as well as keeping the rainwater away from the slab). In the months since his visit, we have had our ductwork replaced, the dryer lint removed, new insulation added and gutters installed. The room that contained the source of the mold has been remodeled. We've had no problems with mold since then. We have also benefitted from lower heating and cooling costs as well as the cessation of erosion of our pavers. Mr. Sanchez's ability to accurately evaluate the "big picture" and make specific recommendations for intervention has resulted in a measurably better quality of life for us. His professionalism and expertise is second to none. I recommend him without hesitation.

Recent Review: I had another company suggest that I had mold and needed all of the ductwork replaced to the tune of $6000.  We needed a second quote and this company came recommended by a co-worker.  Jim came to the house and asked a lot of questions, and took a lot of airflow readings at all of the vents and returns. He then had me show him what filter I was using. I had an expensive one - he said "Throw that away and buy the cheapest hog-hair filter you can find". He even gave advice how to do it for a few dollars instead of using a pre-made frame. I did what he instructed and he came back for a second airflow reading a week later, with an even more impressive machine. He showed me just changing the filter increased the airflow several hundred feet per second, and I could feel the difference in my hot office.  The downside is that I have to clean the filters monthly instead of every three, the upside is that the other company was exposed as trying to rip me off.  Total cost for two visits was $125 (and new filters). I will certainly be using them again the future and have already recommended them to my family and neighbors.  I

Recent Review: We had the problem the first time back in June and my wife call Cornerstone. The air unit would shut down and would not cool. At the time it was assumed that the drain line was block thus causing the unit to shutdown as water was backing up and the float value would shutdown the unit to prevent water leaking all over. Nov 30 the unit started acting up again. I went outside and cleaned out the drainline thinking it was blocked again. The unit still did not cool. We have a agreement with Cornerstone and I called them. Donald came out and inspect the unit and he determine that the duct work was old and falling apart thus not let enough air to flow and was leaking and the air was causing excessive water to go in the unit.  I was very hesitive at the time as I could not believe this was the cause. I guess thats why I am not a AC repairman. After Donald talking to me and my wife we decided to have the ductwork replaced.. Still not sure this was the problem we agree to have it done.. Richard and Nick showed up the next day 3 Dec. They were like the military taught me. If your on time your late and they were here 15 minutes early which impressed me being an old army sergeant. They labored all day in the hot attic to take out the old ducts and install the new ones. I still did not think this was the answer to our problem and expected the system would not work when they finished.  Well when they did finish the cool air came back to this old 85 degree house and the humidity leaving also.. I have to say Richard and Nick are very hard workers and hope the reflect the rest of the staff of this company. Donald, a 27 year AC repairman was right on and I have to hand it to him, he knows his stuff and I was wrong.  Thank you Cornerstone and keep up the good work and keep these type of people in your company.

Recent Review: I called Chris from Residential Remedies and he came over that afternoon to look at our bathroom. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We received a quote from him within 48 hours. He quoted $4,000 for labor, plus any materials he would have to buy. (He provided receipts for all purchases.) They were the one contractor that was able to give is a quote within our budget (others quoted $7,500-$8,500). Chris and his assistant, Bob, did most of the work themselves (versus subcontracting), which I think enabled them to bring the price down. Chris estimated two weeks of work. He started work on a Thursday and worked every day except Sundays. Work was completed in 13 days. They were usually good about arriving on time (8-8:15am) though there were a couple days they came a bit later. They worked until about 4pm. (Only once did I actually see them take a break.) They worked consistently throughout the day without wasting time. Chris and Bob performed most of the work, except for bringing in an electrician to install the lighting and outlets on the first day and a plumber towards the end to install the plumbing fixtures. Some unanticipated issues arose during construction: - The concrete floor was significantly off level (existing problem). Chris had to poor self-leveler concrete to make the floor level enough to tile. - The shower drainpipe was set too high (by a previous plumber) so Chris had to build up the shower floor when creating the shower pan. - The old vent fan had no ductwork in the attic (it just blew right into the insulation) so Chris had to install ductwork directing the humidity out through the roof overhang. (None of the above items were accounted for in the quote and could have all been extra costs, but Chris agreed to only charge us for the floor leveling—an extra $100.) What I liked: - Their efficiency. This was a big job and they completed it in the time promised. - They did a great job dry-walling and texturing the ceiling and walls. - Their friendliness, flexibility, professionalism. Chris came across as being an honest person and eager to work. There were some minor hick-ups along the way, as with any big project, but Chris and his crew were prompt in righting them and in the end, we came out with a gorgeous bathroom everyone raves about. I would be glad to give Chris my business again.

FFather Sons Air Conditioning
Not well. The initial installation went OK. One of the installers dropped a piece from our attic and broke through the ceiling in the hallway - but he did come back and patch it up. The real problems happened when the pump that they installed failed(they installed an old pump). Once F&S's came out to see it, they did not notice that my tennant had bypassed the pump to get the unit working(nor did they realize the pump had failed), and that resulted in a puddle forming around the AC unit the next day. Then, we had some issues with water leaking from the AC vents they installed, as it was starting to drip down our walls. After realizing this issue, we tried calling Father Sons out, but they were never able to 'get a hold of us' to schedule a time to come out and fix it. After waiting for them to 'catch me' on the phone, we had a survey of the unit done, and have come to realize that there were far more issues than we realized; - There is no mastic sealing the plenum - The registers arent insulated properly - The ducts arent sealed to the plenum - There is a huge gap allowing how attic air into the air intake on the aid handler - An old condensate pump was used instead of a new one with the install which is failing. No pressure is being produced. It has been two weeks since I initially reached out to Father and Sons to remedy this...I still have not been able to get on the phone with someone who can give me a resolution. I would not recommend F&S
