Recent Review: Mike and Miranda A/C (and plumbing) are very easy to work with. They replaced my A/C unit and corrected a plumbing issue that required that they coordinate both jobs with the maintenance person at my condo complex. The plumbing issue necessitated shutting off water for the entire floor while they worked. Since I was out of town during this time, I was naturally concerned about what might go wrong. I am happy to report that Miranda took care of all the details without issue, including sending me photos of the completed work, just as they promised. These folks are very professional both in the quality of work and the way they treat their customers. Seems like a well run business. I feel confident that I received an excellent value with respect to the services performed. Thank you Miranda Air Staff!

I called and spoke directly to Milton. He was booked up for the next two weeks but did have time that afternoon. I was delighted since the toilet was leaking badly.  He was very courteous on the phone and that continued throughout the  job. He arrived almost immediately at our home. Again we really appreciated that it could fit us in that same day! He brought in a large tarp and covered our carpet in the bedroom leading to the bathroom. He brought in a shop vac and cleaned up the water overflowing the towels we had put around the toilet. He spent quite a bit of time working on the toilet, it had several issues, some done by the plumber who had previously worked on it. He had to go to Home Depot to get additional parts from what he had on his truck and did not charge me for that time. He ended up being here after 5 pm but there was no "late" fee charged. He cleaned up everything, including the mess the toilet made from the leak. We were VERY PLEASED with his quality of work, his attitude and his ability to do the job. We will be having him back for repairs to our storage shed after he gets caught up in the next two weeks. THANK YOU MILTON FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

I had a water leak in the side yard and, after poking around and figuring out what it wasn't, determined it was the main water line to the house. I called Mike the Plumber and the woman who answered advised that she couldn't get anyone to the house on that day, but would call around and see if she could find someone else who could take on an emergency repair. About 10 minutes later, she called back with the bad news that no one else was available, but that she could have one of her guys come out late afternoon. That worked for me and imagine my amazement when Tom showed up 15 minutes earlier than I was told he would arrive! Less than an hour later, the leak is fixed and I was thrilled. Professional, friendly, and punctual! Do these folks know this is South Florida? Amazed, happy, and I know how to call for any future plumbing needs. Thanks!

The company is very responsive and professional. I called because I was loosing over 20 inches of water in my Spa over a two hour period. The company Technician arrived on time and went right to work. He completely tested the SPA and Pool System and found and repaired a leaking drain. I have heard some horrors stories about companies saying the leak was underground and charging thousands of dollars for repairing it when in reality it was only a minor leak. These people appear to be very honest and extremely professional. I highly recommennd them.

Ross arrived as promised and performed the work himself. He dug out the area in our lawn that was leaking and found the crack in the main waterline. He then replaced the broken section after turning off the main valve at the street. After the repair was done he filled in the hole, turned on the main, and then tested to make sure the repair held.

Chris arrived ontime. I showed him the problem and he gave me a price. He had to pick up a part that he didn't have on his truck but I don't think any plumber would have this part with them. He came back quickly and did a perfect repair. He was a great guy and a great plumber. He even cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend Papa's and Chris.

I am more than happy to recommend this company. Matt came out last week within 24 hours of my calling to ask for help with a leak. He was very professional and friendly and kept us apprised of each development. The charges were fair and the job done in a timely manner.

2 men showed up on time. Researched the problem thoroughly and found the source of the problem.  They suggested possible fixes and gave me  a written estimate of the cost to repair.  The costs did not exceed the estimate. The repair was done timely, professionally and effectively.  I would highly recommend them and certainly would use them again should future plumbing issues arise.

Pros:  Chris showed up right on time, very polite guy,  took his shoes off at the door to go upstairs and then put them back on every time he had to go back to the truck.  I thought that was a nice detail that a lot of guys don't do.  Chris had 20 years experience doing plumbing and it showed....  he zeroed in on the problem very quickly and had it fixed well within the estimated time and the problem is now resolved.   There were a few cons however.  When I called and asked someone to give me an estimate for the work it was not explained to me that there was a $90 service charge to have someone just show up and look at the problem for an estimate. My philosophy is usually to get at least two estimates for any decent size repair.   I probably would have had him continue the diagnosis anyway but it would have been nice to have been given the option because I did talk to other plumbing services that will come out and give free estimates. I accept that another (free estimate) plumber may not have been able to give an estimate without doing some work, but....a little upfront communication would at least make it my choice.   Second.  Chris told me they work hourly for 90/hour.  He estimated the work would cost $300.  He finished the job in an hour and a half but still charged the full amount of the estimate - $300.  I offered to do the cleanup because I thought I was paying him $90 an hour to do cleanup and he was going to give me a bill for 135 plus minimal parts cost.  But when he left in an hour and a half I was still charged the full $300 of the estimate.  Not sure if this is how it usually works?  I guess this is fair if it takes him 5 hours and I still only get charged $300 but not sure it works that way.  The cost still seemed reasonable for the repair so I gave them a B overall for price.  Lastly, my floors are made of about 6" of concrete.  Chris had to chip out a huge block of concrete to get to the broken pipe.  This was fine except had I not been below the floor on a ladder to catch the 5 lb chunk of concrete that was about to fall 10 feet onto my tile floor, which was only protected by a drop cloth, I'm not sure I wouldn't have had a tile repair job on top of a tub repair.  I'm sure Papas would have taken responsibility but I would think theres some better precautions that could be taken to prevent having to deal with that headache.
