YOUR BACKYARD SUPERSTORE INC
Recent Review: After a month, I called them and they could not give me a delivery date. After two months, then three, they kept making excuses and never once called me to say why they were not delivering and installing the parts. Owner never answered the phone and employees could never contact the owner. This was so unneccesary and frustrating I will never again do business with this establishment again. I will go to Orlando or Vero Beach if necessary. Installer in the field was courteous and did a good job on the installation, but the delay and the way it was handled was so terrible, I will not risk buying anything from this business again.

All Brevard Hot Tubs
Recent Review: Their guy came to my house and looked at the hot tub. He informed my wife that there was a hairline crack in the tub that was not repairable and did not diagnose the leak as requested. I was charged 150 for the service call. I called them back and said I would try to seal the crack myself so could they please come out and repair the hose leak as originally requested. Their guy came out again and said it would take an $80 part plus labor.  I asked how much time and his rate. He indicated his rate was 150 an hour and he was not sure how much time it would takes. The rate seemed very high but assumed it would be quality work (Im a 20+ year computer system analyst and I don't make that rate). I authorized the work and he ordered the part. He came out to fix the leak and I made sure to note his starting time because of his high rate so you pay attention to these things. After  1 hour and 20 minutes of work he informed me the hot tub still leaked. After he worked on it a second hose coupling was now leaking so it was a direct result of the work done. He proceeded to inform me that he would have to do all the work he just did plus this new leak and I was fully responsible to pay for this work and all of the future entire re-work. Then I got his invoice and was charged 250 dollars. I asked why the charge was 250 when an hour and 20 minutes @ 150 an hour would be 200. At the time I was told that there where parts and supplies he needed to cover. Wait a minute I just authorized a separate charge for parts. Now there are more hidden part charges? I was very unhappy but wrote a check for the services. Then I went in my backyard and found hot tub foam insulation refuse laying all over the back yard. Very unprofessional. At that point I called my bank and stopped payment on my check. I received a call that said if I did not pay they would put a lien on my property per florida law. I said I had some concerns with the quality of work and I wanted to discuss them. There response was ? I really don?t care about that I only care about getting paid?. WOW, I still made an attempt to discuss my concerns but the responses never addressed them, rather deflections about non-relevant things like it is an old hot tub and they are prone to problems. Nothing to the fact that the leak was caused by the work performed. Again not explanation on how they arrived at 250 dollars as well. Apparently companies that provide pool related services can put a lien on your property for non-payment.  While I understand the necessity of this to protect companies that do good work and don?t get paid, it unfortunately also allows companies that overcharge and do poor quality work to have a get out of jail free card and essentially hold a gun to the consumers head to demand payment. I went to there facility and paid them in cash. I again asked for reasons why I was billed more than the hourly rate I was quoted. This time I was told that they don't bill in partial hours only full hours. You would think if I was billed for 2 hours and there was still 40 minutes left on the clock they would have cleaned up the refuse all over my back yard and not left my gate of my backyard open for which my cat escaped and costed me over an hour finding her. Should you need work from a company that does this type of service, make sure you check into them thoroughly and don?t make the same mistake I made. For this reason I would never recommend this company.

Recent Review: I was very pleased with the service and would recommend to any one. Most of all I was grateful to have anyone come. Several companies advertise they repair hot tubs, however, this is my experience First guy only answered after 20 rings, then aswers "WHAT!?"When I asked him if he repairs hot tubs he said, I dunno, what ya got?  and then said he may could get to it by August, 2 months later. Second, they have an answer machine only and it hangs up and does not take messages. Third, no answer at a;; SO finally I found this company which I feel is your BEST BEST BEST option for hot tub repair in Brevard County, Truly Grateful to Angie and Pristine Pools

Unfortunately they do not work on free standing hot tubs, but recommened a company that does. Sun Plumbing
Recent Review: I think they're a great plumbing company. They're a big company and they're expensive but they do a good job. I've always been happy with them until this last time. My pump stopped pumping, no more bubbles in the Jacuzzi. It's just awful. They came and took the pump out and tried to tell me it's going to cost two grand to fix it. So I went and got the pump back and went to a local pump company to change the capacitor and for 60 bucks, it was fixed. It makes you wonder. They did come out and take the pump put and I had them install it again. I'd still give them an A. They're good people. This is the only time I have gone "what the heck is going on here" and they said they don't work on pumps. My thought process was; why didn't you tell me it was the capacitor, somebody else told me. Actually the guy that came that was going to put it back in not working, he said I don't understand this it seems to be the capacitor, that's a cheap part and we just need to get that changed. That is what made me take it to the plumber and sure enough that's what it was. I think it was a fluke that I heard it from the employee, not the way I would have expected it. I've used them for years and it's been topnotch. When our hot water heater flooded the garage, they were here right away. They're very responsive and quick. When you're really in trouble, they're right there.

It took 2 years to get it almost done. It will NOT pass inspection. It is 2 feet shorter then it was to be. It is not grounded. They cut off the grounding wire. They told you they use one kind of equipment then used another. Don't use them. Since 2011, I have cracks and the paint is so thin it is spotty. It will not pass inspection and that is still open. The lights are not placed right and are turn when they shouldn't.

FADVANCED AQUACARE INC
AWFUL! The owner came out promptly and quoted a price to care for my well-kept, clean pool on a weekly basis. She explained to me that 'one employee would come to brush my pool and another would come on another day to deal with the chemicals.' (This sounded like a ridiculous and ineffective use of time, but I presumed she knew what she was doing....) The young girl who came to brush the pool, Starr, was nice, but not at ALL thorough and she couldn't have cared less about the quality of her work. Plus, she arrived with her boyfriend in tow - a non-employee. She spent more time tell me why she could NOT thoroughly brush my pool than she did in brushing it! (SERIOUSLY!) When she left, I went out and took photos of the untouched basket area in the deck, a good bit of mold on the underlip of the brick coping and some debris in the pool - and the pool IS screened! I sent the pics to the owner who could do nothing but apologize and tell me that 'the chemical guy would fix it when he arrived.' Well, Mr. Chemical Guy showed up with an attitude and spent the first 10 minutes bad-mouthing his employer and telling me she has no idea how to run her business. He THEN proceeded to tell me he thought I 'should hire another company!' (I wondered if the moron realizes that his paycheck is reliant on the customers whose pools he cleans.....Hmmmm.) Needless to say, I told him to pack his crap and leave. I've since found a top-notch company, THE POOL WHISPERER, who has (in less than 2 weeks) gone out of their way to provide stellar service and they even came out on a Saturday (at THEIR insistence, since my pool wasn't cleaned by the first poor excuse for a 'company.) Sadly, I learned that the original owner of Advanced Aquacare died December 2015 and his wife if attempting to run the company now....THAT explains the inept service and disgruntled employees. I predict the company won't be around for much longer if they continue to provide the type of 'service' they gave me - and they don't DESERVE to be in business.

Troy had sold me a preowned spa once before and maintained it.  Therefore I thought I could trust him. But he had personal problems and needed money desperately.  He sold me a hot tub that NEVER EVER worked; it did not even get warm.  When I called him, his phone was disconnected.  Word about town is that he "needed money" from quite a few people.  I was robbed!

Found that the tub had leak(s), motor had burned out, and gave an estimate to make repairs.  The hot tub was in a foreclosed home that we purchased.  It was decided we would not repair, but instead would remove it.  Matt arrived when he said he would, figured out what needed to be done to find the problems and had to overcome several obstacles to even get to the inner workings of the tub.  Matt was very professional and provided the information I needed to make necessary decisions. He also showed me how to navigate his website where photos and information of our appointment would be placed later that day. I was certainly impressed with his demeanor, his skill and technical abilities and would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Called Mark from Angie's List and he came and found the leak , ordered the part, and repaired it as promised. All this was done within a 2 week time frame, just before Christmas and my family going through the crisis of losing my father. Mark stayed in contact with me and I told him the situation ,at which time he told me he would do whatever necessary to order the part & get it here & repaired before the funeral & holiday. It was a generous & kind thing that he did, fitting us into our schedule instead of the other way around. He was sympathic and took the time to see that the spa wouldn't be another problem I had to deal with at this time. He told me his hourly rate, that it may take time to find leak & repair and didn't hit me with any additional surprises. It was much appreciated.
