Recent Review: Majestic Shed is a family owned and operated company. I met with Dayle V. and we decided on layout and options.. Dayle pulled the permit and scheduled the installation. The crew arrived when expected and were very capable and efficient. Everyone had a task to do and they proceeded to do them in parallel. For example, the wood for the floor frame was being cut before they finished unloading the rest of the material from the trailer. They finished that day except for the trim on the windows. They left the trim off so the inspector could make sure the windows were installed properly. The inspection was done the next day and the following day the trim was installed on the windows. I am very satisfied with the finished shed. The workmanship and materials used were much better than I saw in the demo sheds at the big box stores. The cost was less as well. This is a family company that takes pride in it's work.

Recent Review: Stopped in at Superior Sheds for an estimate on a 10 x 16 shed after attempts at other providers.  Met with Bob Specht, told him exactly what our needs were and he satisfied our requirements with no pressure, delivered on time and exactly as quoted. Had a permit service handle all the paperwork with the county which was both a time and hassle saver for us.  Also referred us to a concrete contractor to handle driveway enlargement and access pad for the new shed.  Great experience and would recommend Bob and Superior Sheds to anyone in the market for the same.

Recent Review: Contractor, Paul Spicer, of Spicer Construction, Live Oak, Florida came highly recommended from a variety of sources in our initial inquiry into the Suwannee County area when we were looking for a contractor to construct our residence in Sept 2011. He provided custom build floor plans for our approval based on our input in record time. We felt his pricing was competitive and decided to proceed with the build with his company. The high roof pitch house is a small 2Br, 2Bath cottage but with a very open airy feel. We decided to go with a Galvalume metal roof, added a screened back porch with ceiling fans, tray ceiling in the living room, a detached shed (matching the house in siding, roof and paint selection). It has ample storage and closet space including a utility room for a washer and dryer and pantry off the kitchen. We were offered optional add-ons at reasonable prices so we added a fireplace and arched doorways which we absolutely love as they really set off the house interior with some architectural detail and character. We were also given the opportunity to utilize and quot;allowancesand quot; for numerous interior options such as light fixtures, flooring selections, kitchen sink and faucet selection, bathroom vanities selection, mirror and bathroom hardware selection, kitchen cabinets and countertops, door hardware, etc. This was a wonderful option which really allowed personal taste to be included in the process. We were able to select interior and exterior paint colors, interior and exterior door design and window mullion placement. He was able to substitute a vintage claw foot tub with the bath fixtures in our guest bath which replaced the tub/shower fiberglass unit we originally had in the budget. We feel the house has a lot of character and truly felt like home when we moved in as a result of the extra personal touches and effort that was afforded to us. We proceeded with the building process in late fall 2011 and we received our Certificate of Occupancy on March 2 2012. Paul Spicer was a man of his word and very easy to work with. He responded to all phone calls promptly and courteously. He paid attention to detail and did quality work. All of our windows and doors are good quality and the house is well insulated. He painted the exterior and interior of the house himself and did excellent trim work. He also did the tile work in our utility room and bathrooms including the custom shower which turned out absolutely gorgeous. He installed laminate flooring throughout most of the house which also came out great. He is a very and quot;hands onand quot; contractor who involved himself in many aspects of the build personally. The custom shed is also a lovely addition to the home and its matching detail to the house ties everything together. He worked well with his sub-contractors (Electrician, Plumber, Heat and AC, Sheet Rock, Kitchen Cabinets and Countertops), and coordinated with them to ensure everything was completed in a timely fashion and in a professional, quality manner. We are very happy with our home and highly recommend Paul Spicer with Spicer Construction.

FSB Sheds and Carports
This is the text of our complaint to the home office of ?Superior Sheds?. On 16 April 2012, our 10x20 aluminum shed was delivered and installed by your company ?Superior Sheds? replacing our original older wooden shed. We based our purchase on your reputation for ?customer service?, ?quality? and the ?satisfied customers? that are publicized by your internet website. Originally we were happy with your product, and used the shed to house a small workshop and washer/dryer area for our vacation cottage, where we spend about 4--5 days per month. However after about 14 months we discovered that the shed had a significant leak (about 1/2 gallon per heavy summer rainstorm) in the southeast section which has caused about $200 in damage to my tools and fiberglass insulation. Initially, I suspected that it was leaking through a small gap between the overlap of two of the ?top crown? pieces of the roof section, and after checking with Home Depot personnel, I used about 6--8 ounces of high quality foam insulation to attempt to stop this leak. Unfortunately it had no effect, and therefore believe that the leak is in a lower portion of the roof. At that point I notified Bob at your Crystal River office. Initially he said he would get the problem fixed. But after waiting several days I recontacted Bob and he told me that his service man (Robert) said it could not be fixed. He then had me call Robert, who indicated that he didn't feel he could get on the roof, and that it would require too much scraping to remove the foam. He said he would call Bob about the problem, but apparently this did not happen on that date. I have discussed this with a family friend who is a contractor, and he indicated that the roof could definitely be fixed, using plywood sections temporarily placed across the roof frame for strength thus allowing workers to safely access the shed roof, and would probably only need some type of leak sealant applied to the roof section. I recontacted Bob today (22 June), and unfortunately he was not very helpful, but after some discussion, he said he would return my call today. When he called later, he indicated he could be of no further help because the foam sealer was the problem. He did reluctantly agree to have the owner--Bill-- call me on Monday. Clearly this ?sealer rational? is NOT the case because I only applied the sealer AFTER the leak was observed, and this appears to be an ?excuse? not to perform the repairs. On Saturday (22 June), I removed the water damaged interior fiberglass insulation and observed that the leak was in the roof SE corner and NOT at the crown where I had applied  foam insulation. I latter Informed Bob about this fact, but he offered no further help. As you can see, this situation is totally unacceptable to us, and requires your immediate attention and repair before this leak further damages our shed and it?s several thousand dollars of contents. If allowed to continue, I?m sure that the frame will begin to suffer wood rot and mold, making it unsafe to utilize in any capacity. It will be much easier and cheaper for you to repair the roof now rather than waiting for further damage to my shed and contents. I am asking your help in resolving this important ?customer service? issue. As I informed Bob, if this issue is not corrected shortly, we will be filing a complaint early this week with the Better Business Bureau, and if necessary Small Claims Court. We look forward to your positive response and the ?satisfaction? promised by your website. Thank You.Bob Siwik. 813-926-8378 As of today, June 24, at 4pm, we have received no satisfactory reply from Crystal River or their home office.

Fred shows up when he says he will and they work complete days, no lunch breaks. They charge by the hour, so this is important. I've hired contractors many times before for large projects and you often see them arrive at 10:30, or sit all day working on one little piece. Not Fred. They arrive at 8AM sharp and work till 4PM. I highly recommend them for all general handyman jobs.
