The starting experience was great. They answered their phone, were polite and scheduled me right in. It went south as soon as the service tech showed up. The person we had meeting him at the house told him to call us when he got their so we could go over all the issues. Especially with the oven because of the nature of the problem. He kept telling her he would call after he finished this or that. She finally called us and handed him the phone. We told him exactly the problem with the oven. If it heated up at all it would hit 350 and then turn off and not go back on and cool down. And it would never heat above 350. He got off the phone and asked our helper if we were Jewish. She said no and asked why and he said "because he is a pain in my" and pointed to his rear. Then proceeded to talk about us in a negative light because we owned an expensive stove. Something about how basically we bought an expensive stove so we could show how great we were. He said the stove was fine and did nothing to fix it (in all fairness he did not charge us for that) but when I got home our helper told me he heated it to 350 and then said it was working fine. So basically he did not listen to the problem. We added on, after he got there not knowing how terrible he was, another refrigerator in a the house we have. He went in there and flipped the wire arm on the ice maker and said that we just had it turned off and it was fine. Didn't call us or anything. We had purposely turned it off because when it was on it would leak and flood the area around it. So that was a bust as well. He did fix our main refrigerator and that is all we were charged for. But in the long run I will never use them again nor will I recommend to anyone. I feel bad because it is not the company as a whole but the one tech. Unfortunately the end result is the tech reflects their company.

Technician not factory trained, made wrong diagnosis, since he couldn’t repair it said I need a new stove (at $1,800!). Tech left paper with my name, address, phone but no itemized bill ($70 service call), said he had a lunch date. I called next day, owner apologized about no proper receipt TEXTED me bill. I called Maytag, they gave me some credit (7 yr old stove barely used), set up for local factory trained rep to come out, computer iPad hooked up, stove told him key stuck; ordered new stove front keyboard, works perfectly now. Yes it cost $750 but cheaper than $1,800 for new stove!

The service rep responded to my call in 45 minutes. He immediately assessed the problem and corrected it. My water bill was $20.00 higher than normal this time because I had trouble getting the water in the tub to stay. The water would run and run and run, but not fill up enough to begin agitation. But once in a while it would work so I was confused. He figured it out, lifted the hose and it began to fill and hold water. It took about 10 minutes for him to figure this out. Since he was there I asked him to look at my gas stove burners that would hardly light. He took out a wire from his toolbox and cleaned out the stuck burners. They now work like a charm. He only charged me for the service call because the whole thing took less than 1/2 hr.

This service, hired by Electrolux, came out to replace recall parts in my stove. Their first visit, did that but found the stove still did not work. They ordered a burner part and came a second time to fix it. During this second visit, the technician found that the there was no power being sent to the stove after putting in the new burner the stove would not turn on. He stated it was an issue with the 220 line and I needed an electrician to repair the line. I paid an electrician to investigate the problem with the power from the circuit breaker to the stove. He verified that the line was fine. The electrician pointed out that the stove was the issue. Therefore, I contacted this company again, they came out and discovered that the first technician did not install the burner properly and was causing the stove to short out and the circuit breaker to blow. His investigation found that the first technician did not install the wiring correctly. After correcting that issue, the stove would not turn on and he determined that a electrical board needed to be replaced. It was a simple part with 4 cables that plug into it. So, I ordered the part on my own and replaced it. After replacing it, the stove's warmer plate and oven worked; however, It is receiving fault codes and the burners will not work still. Upon further investigation, another circuit board was found to be faulty. I was told that the work done at the beginning which caused the stove to short out caused the damage and was the issue. I was told, I needed to have the original (this service) service that worked on it to come out and fix it. I contacted them and they are refusing to fix my stove after causing the issues in their original repair. I'm into this for the cost of the certified electrician and the purchase of the new parts to correct the problem. Both technicians were polite and professional, but mistakes caused during the burner replacement has resulted in further repairs/costs which I should not have to cover.
