Recent Review: My pool heat pump had stopped working over the weekend. The unit is 10 years old, but I was hoping it could be repaired so I didn't have to go to the expense of replacing it right now. My first call was to my pool service contractor. In Florida, apparently pool service companies can install new heaters, but are not allowed to repair existing heaters, so my pool contractor suggested I call my normal HVAC service company. I called them, but they do no service pool heat pumps, and recommended that I call All Star. I called Joe at mid-day on Monday, and he had availability to look at it the same afternoon. He came out to the house about 2 hours later, hooked up diagnostic equipment, asked a few questions, and diagnosed the problem as the capacitor. He had the part available in his truck, and within 30 minutes, my pool heater was working again. Great guy - personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. Excellent service experience!
