Recent Review: Just before the heat of the summer began, my air conditioning went out. ARS had maintained my furnace/AC for the previous owner of my home and had done some regular maintenance for me.They showed up the same day that I called, but unfortunately told me that my entire system needed to be replaced. After doing some research, I decided to buy a new furnace/AC from them. They scheduled an appointment a few days later (they had faster dates, but I was not available), and showed up on time. They did great work and were done in one day. In point of fact, the furnace that they sold me could not be made to work in the space available, so they gave me an upgrade to a better unit at no additional cost! While I'm not happy that the old unit died, that's certainly not their fault. They were prompt and professional, and I would happily use them again.
Recent Review: Great experience. I purchased a whole house humidifier with installation from a Deal that One Guy Heating was offering here on Angie's List. The price beat every other offer I had seen, Talked to Lee by phone and scheduled the install the same week for 8:30am. None of that 8-12 or 12-4 B.S. the other guys give you. 8:29am the van pulls up in the drive and the technician went right to work. About an hour and a half later the job was done. He explained to me how the system works and basic maintenance. Very neat and professional install. If it weren't for the new humidifier hanging there, you would never know anyone had been in the house. He cleaned up and took every bit of packaging and trash with him. Gotta say I am impressed. I'll be calling One Guy again for any HVAC work or maintenance I need taken care of.
Recent Review: They do 10% off of any supplies and labor and we might incur over and above the work that is covered by our contract with them. They are pretty expensive. They know our place and they are prompt. They are very good.
Recent Review: The copper Freon lines were purged and filled with chlorine-free Freon. Additional attic insulation was brought to 10+ inches. As a part of the purchase, a three year preventive maintenance agreement was concluded.. The agreement includes 2 complete inspections per year. We received a product registration confirmation originally submitted to Maytag by Bayside Heating and Air Conditioning. All necessary work permits were obtained by Hillsborough Building Services Division. County inspection occurred 3/12/2014 and was approved at time of inspection. The entire process was conducted with professionalism, competency and outstanding customer service. The company called 8/2014 and scheduled the first detailed inspection. The outdoor condenser unit, indoor unit/blower, surge protection, air purifier, attic insulation and ducts overall condition was good. The system was operating within manufacture specs. The system is very quiet and runs less often than the old system. The air purification system works well. The company and product are both the best!
Recent Review: Technicians arrived promptly in morning as scheduled. The old firnace, now 14 years old, in the attic (we have two furnaces) was taken out and replaced with the new one. A furnace filter was installed with the new furnace. Simultaneously, the old AC unit (14 years old) was removed and a new one installed. The unit was much larger and the evergreens that screened the unit had to be cut back by the technicians. The old humidifier on the other furnace was removed (14 years old), and a new one installed. A new thermostat was installed that is wifi enabled. I was given a brief instruction on how to program it. All the associated paperwork was given to me in a folder. All debris was cleaned up, The old furnace and AC were taken away. Work was completed in four hours The furnace has functioned perfectly from the beginning, and I had no need for any return calls. Later I requested (and purchased at a very reasonable rate) a cover for the AC which they brought around to me in a few days. We received the rebate from the electric company on 20 December 2014.
Recent Review: I WISH I REMEMBERED THE NAME OF THE MAN THAT DID THE WORK. HE WAS REALLY GREAT. HE CAME ABOUT 15 MINUTES INTO THE TIME FRAME I WAS GIVEN (WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED FOR ME BEFORE). VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. A GREAT EXPERIENCE, I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

DOne Guy Heating, Cooling & Sheetmetal Inc.
He called me the next day after i purchased the deal and set up the time and date, which was supposed to be on 10/19/16 at 8:30am. I called him at 9:00am and he said he didn't remember me and did not have an appointment set for 8:30am. He did apologize but at this point I have no trust in what he is doing.

Randy came to the house to evaluate our non-working hvac. He fixed the problem and evaluated our whole HVAC system. Based upon the recommendations, we had him come back to do general maintenance and servicing on our units, and also set up our whole house humidifier. Randy was professional, courteous, skilled and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him.

ADeljo Heating & Cooling
I USED DELJO WHEN WE LIVED DOWNTOWN AND CALLED THEM AGAIN WHEN WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW PLACE IN GLENVIEW. THEIR OFFICE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE SERVICE PERSON CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WOULD BE ARRIVING AT THE VERY END OF THE TIME WINDOW AND TO MAKE SURE THAT WAS STILL OK. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR SERVICING THE HUMIDIFIERS BECAUSE THEY JUST NEEDED TO BE RECONNECTED. OTHERWISE THEY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE (NEVER USED), I WILL CONTINUE TO USE DELJO.

AAir, Plumbing & Heating Solutions LLC
This is first rate company. Their rep was professional & knowledgeable. Because this was a sizable job, the owner participated in the final assessment & checked all specifications personally. They identified & got me a rebate on the carrier units -both very high energy efficiency rated. The majority of the work was done in 2 days. They returned - on day 3 - for a 10 minute call to upgrade a small electrical part. Each day the house was left clean & I had heat during the installation process. Air Solutions followed up after the work was done to ensure that everything was operating correctly. I'm delighted with the performance of my new systems, the house HVAC is easily controlled & the heat is even throughout. The new HVAC operation exceeds my expectation.

DPritchard Air Conditioning
The good: The technician came the next day after being called. Daniel, the technician was friendly, knowledgeable and agreeable . He repeatably stated my satisfaction would be guaranteed. Daniel went above and beyond the cal of duty-he stayed until after 5pm waiting for the other service tech's to install the unit. A technician offered a free year of service and confirmed it with the home office. All tech's wore shoe-covers and refused tips. The bad: The home office was bad to deal with. Also scheduling was a problem-they were to install the unit on Wednesday but when we called to find out approximately what time they would be there they said the unit hadn't come in yet. If we had not called them we would have been waiting around all day. We rescheduled installation for Thursday afternoon.. They did come on Thursday but not until after 5pm. Repeated calls by the technician to the home office to find out where the installers were.-They said they were on their way. Reminders to them to send documentation were frequent-none was provided with the installation. We frequently had to call them to correct contact information. I'm still not sure if they have my correct name and phone number. The ugly: It used to be called "bait and switch"-we were quoted and guaranteed a Bryant or Carrier air conditioner. They installed a Payne. Extensive investigation was unable to determine if Payne was manufactured by Carrier. Research did include the fact that Payne's cost about $800 less than Carrier or Bryant. Basic research on the internet showed that we paid about $1,000 over and above the cost of a Bryant. Overall, I would recommend with reservations. Technicians were excellent. Installation was excellent and the unit seems to be working. I did have to call them to check the humidifier. They came out.and had to explain what setting to the humidistat should be set on. They also inspected the thermometer and told me it needed batteries which they installed. This wasn't explained at the time of the installation and to date I still don't have any paper work on the humidifier or the thermostat. I would also recommend getting everything in writing-price, date of installation and time of installation. Avoid talking to the home office-ask to speak to the supervisor not the dispatcher.
