Recent Review: Milton should wear a cape with a giant H on it because he's our handyman superhero. We're winding up a huge kitchen renovation that has afforded us the opportunity to work with him many times over the months including: demolition of a cuban tile floor (that had Spanish tile over it) diamond grinding down a concrete slab with NO DUST because he used a manhole fan to blow dust out the window, lowering/leveling the floor in two rooms - one concrete and one wood subfloor, replacing floor joists, making floor transitions out of ipe wood, putting up tons of drywall, skim coating and hooking us up with an honest and competent electrician, tile man and plumber. We had a base cabinet in a kitchen island which holds a slide-in gas rangetop that sits on a shelf - the shelf and cooktop were too high for the counter top we are about to install. Our cabinet maker insisted it was impossible - absolutely impossible - to lower the shelf within the cabinet. Doing so would destroy the cabinet. Rather than argue with the cabinet maker we called Milton this morning to see if he could take a look and give us an honest opinion. (He is incredibly honest.) He was at our house in less than an hour and took a look. Then he went home to get his amazing tools, and a few hours later - shelf lowered and rebuilt within the cabinet. It needs a bit of touch up and he said he'd come out to fix it up. It is a rarity to work with someone with integrity, skill and commitment to his craft. Can't rave enough about Milton. If you need work done he won't BS you, overcharge or pretend he can do something he can't - he'll actually tell you straight up whether it's something he can tackle or not. Again, the man should wear a cape because he's a Handyman superhero. THANK YOU MILTON for saving the day.
