Recent Review: We have an older elevator in our home and the door did not shut and open properly due to a broken latch. Other companies had not been able to fix it, but when I got in touch with this rep he had it in his car and made an immediate appointment and showed up on time and fixed it right away, charging about $600.00. I don't think it was cheap - but he recognized the urgency and scheduled promptly and fixed correctly, so I'll take it. Thank you!

AMilton Bentley Inc
Milton arrived on time and went right to work out of his impressively equipped mobile shop.  He was very respectful of keeping the work area clean by using clean drop cloths where ever he was working and when he left the house looked better than when he started. I would definitely use his services again.

The drywall was fixed enough so that I could finish the repair myself (spackle fill, sand, and paint).  The broken tile was fixed but it wasn't the same elevation and doesn't look right and the grout all came out around it so I need to get it removed and replaced again by a tile expert.

We initially had a good impression in the showroom. The salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. We set up an appt for him to come to our house, do some measurements and give us a price. When he came to our home, he was accompanied by the business owner's son. The son was very pushy and insisted on us signing a contact that evening in order to hold the price he was offering. We did not. After a few days, my husband went into the store and was able to get the same price and decided to go ahead. We paid a 50% deposit. More measuring was done and we went to a plumbing supply store to select the sink and faucet which was delivered to our home. Someone came out and measured for the quartz countertop. We were told we needed to buy an entire slab of quartz given the size of our kitchen. On the day of installation, they insist that the remaining 50% of the cost be paid before any work commences. It's actually in the contract but we were used the the balance being paid after the work was finished. We paid the remainder. The countertop was installed and we had never been told that there would be a seam in the countertop and were not happy to see that! We expected that the entire countertop would be seamless. During the install, the workman said the slab wouldn't fit in the elevator. (They certainly would've known that prior to installation since they came out to measure and used the elevator.) We are only on the second floor, so the slab could've been carried up the stairs or hoisted onto our balcony, but they did not do that.) In the end, the backsplash turned out beautifully and everything looks nice. But I hate looking at that seam and there is already a chip in the countertop on one of the edges, so needless to say, overall, I am not happy.

Things went very smoothly and Anthony is a true professional who accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. Anthony had to cut down an elevated granite countertop and prepared the new height to receive Quartz countertops. He also had to extend that Island to accommodate a wine fridge for a built in look. He installed all new base molding and was able to match the existing molding in the kitchen ! Lastly he installed over 13 new Decora electrical outlets in the kitchen area . Anthony will return once the quartz countertops are installed and install sink, faucet and disposal and reattach molding to the bottom of the cabinets . One thing that really impressed me is that I gave Anthony cash to purchase all the materials needed to do the job and he only charged me for the actual cost of those materials and furnished a receipt . Most contractors that I have dealt with always have an upcharge for fetching materials. Just a nice surprise ! I would recommend Anthony for all your construction needs.

AReliable Electrical Service
Customer service was terrific - I called firm after hours on Friday - answering service offered to have my call returned on Monday. Well, I received a call from Chris early Monday morning. I described the situation of my lamp post that had bent over at the base and I had a ladder supporting it from falling and damaging the light fixture. I asked If I could be scheduled for same day service and I was. Chris stated that their trucks are like mobile warehouses and are fully equipped. Also that they have flat fees for services. They were able to accommodate me that morning. And, an electrician by the name of Donnie showed up within a short time. He was courteous and professional. He removed the old post and set the base - He did a great job. As he was finishing up the paperwork, he asked if I had any other electrical repair concerns. I showed him an outdoor pvc electrical line that was damaged. And he said that he would be able to repair it. It was a fantastic experience. Some of my neighbors had gathered and were impressed with the results.

AReliable Power Systems & Electrical Services
Initially met with Mr. Robert Biscardi, owner of Reliable Power Systems, on January 12, 2015.  He spent over an hour with us outlining his plan for our property and giving us insight as to the type of man and business that he heads.  Very personable and well versed in his trade made our decision to trust our generator installation to his company.  We contracted with him that same day, with absolutely no pressure from him to do so. After a brief time spent in his truck, Robert returned with a printed proposal for the installation that listed all of the components for the job.  He assured us that, with his company, generator installation is a "complete turn key operation" and I can verify this to be true. Within two days, we received in the mail an informative packet containing general Generac generator information, liability and award information for Robert Biscardi, and most importantly the permit package with return envelope.  There was also a sheet entitled "The Next Steps and Important Information" which is a homeowners guideline as to the process, time frame, and payment schedule of generator installation.  Whoever developed this sheet should be commended.  It eliminates any question as to what is happening or when each step will occur.  I referred to it often and the information provided kept me very well informed, without the need to call Reliable - although I knew they were always available for any inquiry I may have had along the way.  The project manager informed us that our situation (being in a flood zone coupled with the house elevation) required the addition of a concrete pad which was not initially anticipated.  In addition to this verbal information, within two days time an additional work order arrived via mail stating this addition and it's cost, but no monies were requested at that time.  Everything progressed on schedule and on March 9, 2015 the actual installation commenced.  The initial crew created the form for the concrete pad and began the electrical wiring the first day.  Day two was the completion of the wiring, the pouring of the concrete, and the sinking of the 500 gallon propane tank.  The generator was placed on the pad the third day and the electrical wiring connection was complete. The installation which normally takes three days total, was delayed by external forces such as waiting for inspectors to arrive for approvals, for an outside company to burrow under our driveway to run lines, for the propane company to deliver the propane to fuel the generator, but none of these delays were caused by Reliable Power Systems.  We were very pleased with the smoothness of the entire project.  During the installation we met 6 crew members all of whom were friendly, funny, personable, and very deft at their craft.  We enjoyed having them here.  I even made a special request to have the initial electrician return today to do our "start up" procedure, as I was comfortable with his style of explanation regarding the workings of the new generator. All of my contacts with the office staff have been just as remarkable.  Robert Biscardi has done an admirable job of hiring the best people to represent his company.  Everyone I have spoken with has been friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and engaging.  It has been a pleasure from start to finish dealing with Reliable Power Systems.  And Mr. Biscardi also runs an electrical company, Reliable Electrical Systems, which parallels his generator company.  Knowing how well the generator company has treated us, I can totally believe that we will receive the same superb service in the future for any future electrical needs.      I can not endorse Reliable Power Systems highly enough.  Look no further....their "turn key" installation can not be beat.

DDattile Plumbing, Inc
Called Dattile Plumbing because I had used them approximately 18 months ago on my son's remodel.  Mary was still there and very cooperative and friendly when scheduling my install of two new bathroom faucets in a new marble vanity and replacing my kitchen faucet.  The first appointment was scheduled a week in advance for Friday July 31 at 10 am.  Mary called that morning and told me that the only plumber they had was pulled to work on new construction that day and I would need to be scheduled for the next day Saturday at 10 am.  OK, but no one showed up by 11 am the next day so I called and the only plumber had gone back to the new construction job again so I was put on the schedule Sunday or later that Saturday for 4 pm.  At 4:30 pm the plumber called to say he would arrive at 4:55 pm per his GPS.  This firm is located within 5 miles of my house and still he did not arrive until 5:20 pm.  Due to the late hour, he started with the install of the bathroom faucets (all connects and stainless plumber's putty - he didn't bother to use putty - were provided for him because I did not want any delays).  Problems became apparent when faucets were turned on to test without the drain in place and water was everywhere in new wood cabinet.  Next problem was apparently that lift rods did not match my sinks which were "shallow" but Kohler does not identify them as shallow.  Apparently the "custom" solution of bending the metal (each sink done a different way) did not solve the situation as neither lift knob sits on the faucet as it should (elevated over 1/2 inch), there is no tension to pull drain cover up and down, and in one sink the lift drain cover is now not operational at all. This went from bad to worse.  He said when he would come back on Tuesday "after work" - late again and I am a paying customer - we could test them for leaks with putting a paper towel down under each sink.  Test for leaks?  I had just paid him $390 for installation.    After he left, I put paper towels down under each and there was water coming up from the connections that the drain pipe goes into the PVC.   Cannot even use the sinks  and the sink to the right was set in crocked.  Without sleeping and becoming more upset, I called Mary at 7:05 am Sunday morning to tell her that the installation had gone so badly.  She said she would have Mr.  Dattile contact me first thing Monday morning (as I did not want him to have to come out on Sunday).  I told her I did not want their "only" plumber in my house again.    Mary called Monday Aug 3 at 8:33 am to tell me she was going to contact Mr. Dattile to come by.  I told her I had expected him to be here first thing as this job had been done so poorly.  She would call me back.  When I had to call her back at 9:00 she told me she could have Mr. Dattile stop by in the afternoon because he was on another job.  Enough!  She said she was very sorry (but sorry does not provide me with a non-leaking install). I rescheduled with North County Plumbing, Inc.(561) 625-9414 for Tuesday at 9 am to replace kitchen faucet for $157.00 and fix whatever is wrong with my "newly installed" bathroom fixtures.  They were so professional on the phone and thorough with timeframe guaranteed and quote for all work.  After feeling ripped off by Dattile Plumbing for last time, I am looking forward to being treated as a valued customer (even if I am not the "new construction boss's son").
