They arrived to install our windows in 8 weeks , exactly as promised but that was the only thing that went well. We had multiple mistakes. (1) The window over the bathtub was to be raindrop glass (an obscure glass that you couldn't see through) but they brought a clear glass window. ( 2) The 2 bedroom windows were to be clear glass windows with grids, what they brought were raindrop windows with grids (raindrop glass is obscure so you can not see out of the bedroom windows) (3) The great room had 2 large windows that we had clear slider windows with grids and full screens ordered. They only brought half screens so the full screens had to be reordered. Also the back slider windows (2 sections) had scratches in the glass, so those 2 sections had to be reordered. (3) Finally they had miss measured the patio doorway where we were replacing french doors with a sliding glass door. They had measured the opening at 8 foot, the opening was only a 6 foot opening. So that sliding glass door would have to be reordered. Also we had ordered a more decorative bronze handle for the sliding door that also was missing. To reorder the correct items, would take another 8 weeks for delivery We decided to leave the bathroom window clear so that was one problem fixed. So 8 weeks later they arrived to correct our issues and the sliding glass door was put in and the finished door is very nice. They changed out the scratched back slider panels and they looked very nice. However, the full screens that had been reordered did not fit well and they had to be reordered for the 3rd time. They only had one replacement window for the master bedroom windows so they had to reorder (for the 3rd time) the 2nd clear bedroom window with grids. They came back for the 3rd time to remeasure for the full screens for the slider windows in the great room and to finally finish the last bedroom window. But they had only sent one panel for the double hung window, and for the 4th time they had to reorder the last clear panel with grids for the master bedroom. It is now the beginning of June and we are still wait to have our window remodel completed. I did speak with the customer service department only once to inquire when we could expect this project to be completed. They were abrupt on the phone. When I was discussing the problems including the scratches on the slider windows, the woman I spoke with (wish I had gotten her name) told me that windows sometimes have scratches and they are allowed if under a certain percentage. I told her that when I am purchasing windows I expect them to have no scratches when they are installed. Long story short I will be so glad to have this project completed. I do love the quality of the windows but I have hated the delays and the fact that there have been so many reorders. I just feel that once you have a signed contract they really lose interest in you and really don't care how much this has put us out.. I do have to say that the actual installers have done a good job installing what they were provided. They were professional and polite. They did tell us that sometimes they can put a rush on an order and get it back in 2 to 3 weeks. But again when speaking to the woman in the office, she through them under the bus, and stated that they never do any rush orders. Still waiting for completion.
