Recent Review: Scheduling was a little bit of a challenge; however, I should note that Jeremiah was one of the few local masons who actually returned calls and kept communication going. So even if you have to wait a bit you’re still better off with this company. Once the work began it was done very quickly and the work was good quality. Jeremiah also went all the way around the house to look for any other minor cracks or problems and fixed those while he was at it. Given the quality of the work and how conscientious Jeremiah is in making sure all of the masonry on the entire house was in good shape, this job was an exceptional value for the price.
Recent Review: I cannot imagine a better remodel experience than we had with Jeremiah Dillow. We were impressed with his open, friendly, professional manner from our first meeting, and after listening to our desires and giving us insightful thoughts and ideas, he submitted an AMAZINGLY fair bid. From the first day of the project and every day after, Jeremiah was on the job early till late--doing much of the work himself, as well as organizing a great crew of sub-contractors. His attention to detail and standard of quality exceeded any expectations we had--I am not exaggerating. He refused to settle for anything less than the best and right way for everything to be done--from the demolition to the drywall, wood flooring, electric, plumbing and carpentry. As with any remodel of a very old house, we encountered a few surprises, and Jeremiah handled them with calm expertise. Midway through the project, I opted to buy new cabinets and countertops, and Jeremiah kindly and patiently helped me reconfigure, measure and assess my options. He kept everything running right on schedule, even with all my changes. Jeremiah communicated with us everyday on what would be done and what subs would be there, and he was always there working and making sure everything was done to his high standard. The remodel area was always spotless when he left for the day--something he did himself without fail. His work ethic is unbelievable. The finished product that Jeremiah gave us is beyond every expectation we had. It is beautiful!! Incredibly, it took only 6 weeks from start to finish. I couldn't give a higher recommendation--Jeremiah is a pleasure to be around, and a professional with a well-deserved reputation for excellence.
Recent Review: For the most part, the project went very well. Fritz, Mike and Chris were the principal builders and did a terrific job. I was impressed with their work ethic and craftsmanship. They actually cared about their work and did a thorough job. During removal of outside brick where the new room was to be added, old termite damage was discovered inside the wall of the existing master bathroom shower. The shower had to be completely replaced, wall studs and all - new tile on floor and walls. Naturally this added to the overall cost and timing of the project. There was the occasional miscommunication but nothing that had an impact on the job as a whole. The only real problem was Keith's difficulty in finding someone to install the patio pavers. This was finally resolved and the pavers beautifully installed. The privacy fence was built literally from the ground up and is far better looking and sturdier than the original fence. I am happy with every aspect of the finished product and have no problem recommending Remodeling Pros for similar projects.
Recent Review: .But their integrity and keeping prices fair is refreshing....I'd use them again when needed... I do admire Wanda.....LR had some employees with hurricane issues that prevented them from coming to work. She picked up the slack... Wanda and Rob own and run this enterprise very well. When Rob injured his foot, and was laid up awhile, Wanda picked up the slack again, and all went well. Maybe a little tardy for appointments, but it was all on her shoulders.... Rob is back and they are now chugging along at full speed and punctual with meetings. I never had to have them come back to address a problem with their work.....But they make it very clear...."Call us if you are not happy and we will make it right" No I am not related to them...strictly professional...

Recent Review: Professional. He gave me some alternatives and did the work quickly and it turned out great. Easy to work. The pool pavers are all fixed and solid again. The driveway we did a partial tear out and repour and I am glad we did. The sidewalk they ground down the he trip hazards. I would use again and have no problem recommending to a friend.
I am not the easiest homeowner for a contractor to work for - I pay attention to all the details, document them and hold contractors accountable for scope of work and required paperwork. We initially hired Brian Vaughn of Vaughn Concrete Construction tackled a difficult problem with a severely settled 1960's garage block structure. He followed architect guidelines and detailed contract terms to perform all work and meet all terms and conditions. He did this on time and on budget. He made key recommendations during the job which resulted in small change orders that were reasonable and acceptable for new work outside the original scope. All this work was performed in a constricted space surrounded by sensitive nature areas (at the beach), without damaging or disturbing anything outside the defined work area. It has been about 6 months and we have seen no cracks in the new slab, or any evidence of settling in the repaired wall. Next, we hired Vaughn to excavate, form and pour two residential driveway connectors abutting A1A on Amelia Island. This work was permitted by the FDOT. Brian met all FDOT permit requirements and passed all inspections without requiring remediation or re-inspections by the FDOT. The connectors are very attractive, neatly pointed on all edges, and excess concrete was removed so not to stain the roadway. Crack control joints were cut within the prescribed 24 hour window, and sprinklers were placed to slow the cure of the concrete. The concrete mix was 4000 PSI 6 bag mix, with poly fiber mesh added for structural integrity, and colored with an integral color mixed in the truck.

DRandy & Ray's
At first the wall looked great. After a couple of months the wall started leaning and gaps in blocks occured. They came out and repaired the wall. Couple of months later same thing happened. Randy came out and reglued a block that had come off. We were told the wall needed rebuilt and replacement blocks would be delivered. Never happened and I have emailed them numerous times with no response.

They were hired to remodel a bathroom. We provided materials. We moved into a hotel as our home has only one bathroom. The job was done in six days, and we spent about $8000 including the materials. The floor cracked by the grouts in the second week. The bathtub sunk, and the caulk broke around the wall. The wall tiles are uneven, we cannot use wall-mount sink. The main wall pushes against the door frame, the door cannot be closed. The floor is uneven at multiple places. The corner where two blocks of tiles join cracked on the third week. The tile sunk on the corner of the bathtub, and pushed it down: water pools there all the time. They did not frame out the cut out for the medicine cabinet, and the cabinet got loose on the first week. There is a crack on the opposite side of the wall in both my son's room and the kitchen. The grout was missing around the floor-wall joint and water trickles in the gap anytime the kids splash some out. Overall the quality of the work is abysmal, and after complaining, they reapplied some caulk and some grouts, but nothing else. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure if they were licensed/insured. Be aware of Petrik Construction.

4/18/16 The owner, Michael Serig arrived on time to take the measurements and to outline what the project involved. Once I accepted the contract, the pavers were ordered. The material was delivered to my house on 5/16/16 (the wait time was much shorter than previous times that I had this kind of work done). The next two days the associates worked on the project and worked the entire day until completion. To meet and be joined to the previous patio, the ground had to leveled. And I was very happy to see that all the debris was removed and the area open and cleaned before the men left. I really appreciated the time Michael spent walking with me inspecting the finish project and answering any questions that I had. He is very friendly and professional. Everything blended in so well and looks so pretty and inviting. I love what I see and can't wait to use the new sitting area. I would definitely use this company again and will recommend them to anyone interested in having quality work done. Michael, keep up the good work!

He did a large renovation for us. Ripping out old tile/carpet and putting in new tile with mudset for small grout lines. Worked hard. Did an amazing job. Very personable. Also took down a wall and vented stove hood to the outside.

FArt Of Natural Stone
BUYER BEWARE! Art of Natural Stone was referred to us from a co-worker and after speaking with Enver, he came out promptly to provide an estimate to me as well as our neighbor. Later that week a meeting at the design center went fairly well, and the customer service went really well. We decided to move forward with the job of a patio extension along with a firepit and bench. The stone color we ordered took a bit to come in, however the team remained in communication with us which was much appreciated. Once the stones came in and work began, we started running into some issues. We were not home when the work was being done (our fault) and I noticed that they laid a boarder and then a darker color paver which was not what we ordered...we ordered one solid color. My wife immediately called the office and told them to stop the installation because the pavers were not the ones we ordered. They seemed a little aggravated (not our fault) but did stop the job and redid the area that was completed with the correct pavers. When I came home, the pavers were the correct color however there were several more issues. To begin with, they built a wall up with just dirt, the patio was NOT level, the firepit was not what we discussed and the bench was the perfect size for a 5 year old to sit on. Enver charged us an additional $250.00 to update the height of the bench along with having a higher firepit with caps. Needless to say we were very upset and extremely annoyed. I had my wife connect with Enver. After Enver yelled and cursed at her over the phone, for no reason whatsoever, he agreed to come out the next day, take a look and fix the issues. The next morning the workers did show up and it appeared that they corrected the existing issues. Enver however was a no show. How does an owner of a company not show up to look at a patio installation that had so many issues? The final product appeared to be more inline with what we had expected to receive. However, while sitting outside a few days later, we noticed that a paver (along the border) was undone and several pavers were moving (shifting) when walking on them. We called/texted several times and were told that a worker would be out to correct. After a few days of no shows, my wife and I drove to the company to speak with Enver. He could tell we were upset and said that a worker would be out in 1-2 hours to fix. This was at 10:00am. By 7:00pm no one from Art of Natural Stone showed up at our home to fix these additional issues. My wife and I left multiple messages via telephone and texts expressing our disappointment. Enver finally responded by calling me and began yelling at me because I wanted the work done correctly especially after I had paid a lot of money. Funny how the only time Enver called during the entire project with all the screw ups was when he wanted to get paid before I even got home to see the finished product. I have had several issues since they completed the patio. I have repaired the bad work using youtube videos which were better and more helpful than the service we received from Art of Natural Stone. If you are looking to be bullied and lied to, Art of Natural Stone is the place for you. If you are looking for something better, I would definitely connect with someone else in the market. Hope this was helpful. Be safe!

EvaLUated the leak source and had a new chase and cap fabicated for the fireplace. Repaired some damaged wood. Installed about three sheets of drywall and finished ready to paint. Work was on time ande well done. Only delay was with the chase sheet metal fabricator. Personnel were very knowledgable and efficient. Cleaned their work area totally. Will hire them again.
