Recent Review: Couldn't have been more responsive and friendly. They made minimal mess (and warned me before about what would have to happen). They were amazingly responsive each time I phoned. They even put up with my enthusiastic dog while they were working. I felt no pressure, but felt they offered appropriate and useful advice as I considered my options. Additionally, they even prepared forms for me to get a rebate from TECO for switching to gas appliances. Very satisfied.
Recent Review: I phoned this company because of their excellent rating. I wasn't disappointed. I was preparing a rental unit for a new tenant and discovered the oven wasn't working. Richard was able to come the next day, arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem. The automatic igniter had to be replaced, a part that he had on his truck (to my relief). He told me the cost up front, which I appreciated. He installed the igniter quickly and had me test it to be sure I was satisfied. I was not only impresssed by his professionalism and efficiency, but found him to be a very pleasant and forthright person. I will definitely call him again.
Recent Review: They were quite conscientious. Overall, Stewart Gas Repairs Inc. did a good job. Although we had some people with the connection, which broke off and it took much more time for them to do the job. But I don't think it was their fault that it broke and they didn't charge us for the extra time, although it did cost a little bit more than what they estimated it would be in the beginning. I think this was something beyond their control. They were initially late, because they had been stuck on another job, so it was nearly evening, by the time they were done.
It was under my impression this company was get good review prior choosing them. They performed the service without letting me know what was wrong to the stove and how much that would be. I had bought a ranch oven just in case the price of repair was too much. Now I got stuck with a stove and I can only scrap for $20.00. They charged me $180 for an ignition which was a lot more that a used gas stove I bought. To make things worse, I moved after the service and didn't get the invoice by mail. By the time I got the invoice by fax after they contacting me, they want me to pay the next day not only threatening to suit me but also put a lien to my house. I asked for an apology by not discussing the issue with me prior performing the service but the owner got nasty. I am sorry for him to treat customers like that. We had the following Text Messages and he never reply me back. I am not sure he is putting a lien on my property at this point. If he did the unreasonable act and not apologizing to me, I would have to settle at the court house with this guy. I feel sorry for him. Me: How could you not talk to the owner how much you will charge before performing the service? That was the part I don't like. I will have to tell the judge of you suit me and not willing to settle. Why you don't let me know what happen before doing the work? Now I stuck a oven I bought. Gas Doctor: Will see and I'm putting a lien on that property Me: I just got the invoice less than one day and you are putting a lien. That's how you conduct business. I told the lady the check will be there in 5 day and she agreed. You will get a bad review if you don't apologize. Gas Doctor: If u pay bill there won't be a lien but we have to protect ourselves Me: I never said I am not paying. You still don't see what I am not happy about, don't you? Before figuring things out I meant. You want to protect yourselves and who protect me. You put whatever price you want without my concentrate and expecting me to pay. Let me know you are seeing the problem here. Gas Doctor: Look don't text anymore this is a business phone Me: Are you the owner of the company? Gas Doctor: Yes I am Me: You dont see there was a communication issue here from the beginning. I just got the invoice Mr. Don't care about your customers feed hack and being nasty, you will get burnt and mad all the time.

Our stove oven quit one evening and I called A DiChristoper Appliance the next morning and had the repair person in my house two hours later. He was a very knowledgeable and skilled young man who correctly diagnosed the problem and had the part to fix it in his truck. We were back in business in no time and the charge was more than fair. I had this same problem fixed by a different company several years ago and was charged double what this company's charge was. Do not look any further, call A DiChristopher for your appliance repairs.
