I originally planned for him to replace a closet light that went bad and perform a list of other tasks. When he saw the light fixture I'd purchased for replacement, he said he would do it, but suggested an alternative that would probably last longer, and be easier for me to replace bulbs in the future. He removed the old light, showed me what had gone wrong, caulked in a couple of holes in the ceiling. I showed him two toilets that had been marginally functioning, and he adjusted them. He replaced a "difficult to reach" lightbulb, adjusted the oven door and a shower door. I asked his advice on replacing outdoor hardware on some backdoors that had rusted, and he made some recommendations for getting the doors keyed properly, and also advised on solutions for mildew on doors. He was extremely courteous, and I hope to get him back to perform the work on the backdoors. Will be calling them shortly to schedule.
