Recent Review: It went very well. I decided not to get the tankless water heater based on research I did on the Internet which indicated that the payback period was very long. Part of the reason is that I would need a lot of gas line installed which greatly increased the price of the project, and electrical work. Busto never hounded me to have the work done; a sign of a true professional. I would definitely call them in the future for plumbing needs.

Recent Review: Tisdale did an amazing job. I purchased a distressed property through the FHA 203k program. The house is a 1924 Spanish style home. I had met with at least 5 contractors in addition to Chris Dowd from Tisdale. Most of these other contractors, while having glowing reviews on Angie's List, were more of "New Builders" and didn't seem to have much experience with older homes. This house needed a lot of work, but I knew it would be worth it to fix it up if I could find the right contractor. I had a firm budget and a long, long list of things to fix. When Chris first met me to go over everything it needed, I could tell he had experience with older homes as he gave very specific details about the repairs that were needed and how he would handle them. Then he told me that he was in the process of restoring his own older house and I knew I had found the right contractor! This was an extremely complex project, with a lot of paperwork due to the 203k. Chris, Peggy and Hope handled everything extremely well. I always had a phone call or email almost immediately when I had questions, and Chris kept on top of all the subs, paid close attention to detail and kept the project moving constantly and on budget. And anything that wasn't right was fixed immediately. We had 6 months to finish everything and they did it in 3! Great job, Tisdale! I love my new (old) house!

FThe Pampering Plumber
I used Pampering Plumber over a year ago.  A year later, and for no apparent reason, I start receiving junk e-mail from the owner.  Stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with plumbing (like advertising for concerts).  Several former customers did a reply-to-all asking him to stop.  The e-mails continue.  I tried to stop it with my spam blocker, but each e-mail comes from a different e-mail address.     I would not use them ever again, just on principle. UPDATE: Pampering Plumber is still sending out spam e-mails to FORMER customers (I stress FORMER).  PLEASE stop!!!

FMcGill Plumbing & Water Treatment Inc
He came out and took a picture of the back of the house and send he would send a quote. He did this with the other two houses. We have been waiting over a week for the estimates to be sent to us. I have called the office twice and Ray's cell phone once and no one has called or emailed us the quotes. Don't use these people if you want work done in a timely manner.

FOutdoor Kitchen and Pavers
It has been a nightmare. Over 15 months later, the job isn't finished. It started as a 3-week job in July 2013 (yes 2013) after we found Outdoor Kitchen and Grills at a local home show. We had recently bought our home and I wanted to install a small outdoor kitchen. Craig Araujo came out and assessed my back yard. In addition to ideas for a built in grill and fridge, we discussed how the brick pool pavers were faded and needed leveling, and the pool finish was stained. He had cousins who did all that, too! We were presented with a beautiful computer-generated kitchen design with travertine pavered pool deck and deep Caribbean blue pebble pool finish. Andre Araujo guaranteed "you're gonna love it". With the stellar reviews we'd read, we were so excited! After a health issue, I realized, life is short, so we invested a major chunk of a lifetime of savings for this dream kitchen. From start to finish, Craig was and has been virtually inaccessible and I was forced to serve as scheduler of workers and kept things moving. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence on this company. Day one, the wrong travertine was installed and I was offered a free sealant as a consolation. The paver fit and finish is less-than-average with some very bad cuts. The pool tile install is amateurish and crooked. We are very dissatisfied. The pool finish was never right, with a recurring stain, and after draining, acid-washing, and pouring massive chemicals in it over and over, it is not the color we chose as a result of the acid. Kitchen construction started and I learned later, no permits were pulled for construction of pergola, installing gas line, or plumbing and it was all done wrong by general workers. They didn't shim the kitchen frame and it slopes backward with the pool deck grade, so any water on the counter pools until I squeegee or blow it off. A flat-screen TV was installed over the grill, per the design, and has virtually melted with the grill heat and is covered with grease which cannot be cleaned. The plot thickens. Apparently, until my project, the contractor license CGC#1508797 used was not even registered to do work in Hillsborough county despite the numerous jobs they had been doing. Hillsborough County got involved only after when it was reported to them the gas line was illegally installed - untraceable, 6" below ground on public easement. Months ago, I had hired a tree trimming company to remove bamboo and the gas line was not marked by the utility companies, so they reported it. A horrible situation turned worse. Craig was forced by the county to pull permits for gas, water and electric and none met code. The gas was shut off and my pavers pulled up and a trench dug for a new gas line. Because it was an after the fact permit, the county required permits (by licensed contractors) for the electric and water before issuing a gas permit. I lived with a muddy water-filled treacherous trench around my pool most of this very rainy summer. A second lost summer in our back yard. The gas line was finally approved, trench filled in, and pavers re-installed. They are now uneven as the dirt wasn't packed in correctly, the County inspector told me. At least the gas line is safe now and was inspected this week. The water and electric are still not completed to code, and have open permits. I cannot get Craig to return my calls. We are done with the emotion of the poor workmanship, we just want this outstanding work to be completed safely and legally.
