During the last week of Feb., Phil White and his crew came on 4 days and did the following: taped plastic sheets over all windows and light fixtures; covered bushes with drop cloths; pulled bark mulch away from base of all walls (and restored it upon completion); pressure washed roof, soffits, fascia, stucco walls, and doors; primed stucco, trim and doors with Sealkrete (a sealer, primer, waterproofer, chalk binder, mildew shield); identified and repaired hairline cracks in stucco with elastomeric sanded caulk; and painted stucco/trim/doors with top quality Behr Marquee satin finish paint to match the original colors as required by the HOA. They also pressure washed the concrete sidewalks on the two street sides of the lot at no additional charge. Phil and his experienced crew (Bill, Suzanne, Scott, Kevin) worked hard and stayed focused on the job at hand, and they finished the work by the HOA's due date. They walked us around the house multiple times during the course of the work to view the different stages of work and how the cleaners, primer, and paint were applied. The primer was applied with a sprayer. The elastomeric sanded caulk did a very good job of repairing the hairline cracks in the stucco and matching the stucco's texture. The repaired areas were rolled with paint first, then the entire walls were painted in full. The paint was applied mostly using a thick roller, with brushes used for cutting in, and a sprayer used for some areas (such as close to the ground). Excellent coverage. Because the south wall of the house gets a lot of sun, that entire wall was given a second coat of paint, rolled on. We also walked around with the crew to check the quality and thoroughness of the work, and touch-ups were done immediately. I would definitely recommend this contractor. The house now looks great! The top-of-the-line Behr Marquee satin paint cost more, but it was well worth it. It is so much better than the flat latex paint originally used by the builder. It looks better, feels better to the touch, and should hold up much better in the heat, sun, rain, and humidity of Orlando.
