Recent Review: Buyer beware. Unethical contractor. Tried to charge us for work never performed and then abandoned the job when he was caught. Very poor craftsmanship. Stone was literally falling off the house after installation, and then he had the audacity to claim we tried to sabotage his work. You won?t get what you paid for, and you will likely need to hire another mason to complete his shoddy work.

ABrandywine Exteriors
Window and Siding was great.  The stone veneer was outsourced and the results show it, but overall still looks good. The bay window was not done exactly as I requested (did not remove all of the rotten wood) but was rebuilt well and it looks great.

Everything was great,. The job took 5 days altogether. The crew was here bright and early every morning. Power isn’t the cheapest out there, but you pay for what you get. We are confident that the work was done well. All of our questions were answered honestly and they gave us a lot of information about our house that was very helpful for us. I would highly recommend them and we have received a ton of comments from the neighbors; especially about the fake stone veneer that we had done on the front.

Richard was great to work with. He arrived on-time, reviewed the work that he was going to do (he previously went over the list when he stopped by to estimate the work), and then just got started. He needed no supervision and did a great job. He also suggested a couple ideas & options on how to solve a few things. All work was done on time and at the price he specified. A fantastic experience. We will definitely use him again and we have already given his info to some friends.

AJMJ Landscape Construction LLC
Working with JMJ has been, by far, the best experience we have ever had with any type of hired/contracted company. When the president, Jason, arrived for our estimate appointment, he listened to my plan and offered several inexpensive suggestions that really added to the overall design. We received our estimate within a few days, and the estimate included computer-generated drawings of the design, which really helped us to visualize the final product, and it ensured us that JMJ understood what we were looking for. The initial estimate came in over our budget, but Jason worked with me to make some changes that would allow us to remain under budget. They began working about one week after I accepted the bid. I have had a lot of experience with hired work, and this crew was the most professional I have ever seen. Jason (president) and Gil (vice president) worked on the job every day. Their additional two men were highly skilled, efficient, and very polite. The crew worked a minimum of 8 hours each day and made sure that everything was clean and secure at the end of the work day. The work itself is beautiful!! There was a great level of detail paid to every aspect of the job. We live in a row home in the city which often makes work difficult because of the junk and fill debris, and uneven lines of the house. JMJ approached this job as if it were a million dollar estate in the suburbs. We really appreciate their commitment to quality. I could go on and on about JMJ, but I will just say that they went above and beyond our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.

I had to pay for two deliveries, which was fine, because we ended up using more stone than we had planned on. Jerry, the owner walked outside with me and helped me match the stone to the colors of my kitchen. He had supplied the stone and the cabinetry the year before, so he knew. He gave me product knowledge. He helped me color match. My stones had pinks, browns; burgundy's and grays in them. The wall for the flowerbed by my kitchen is just beautiful. The real stone is a dead ringer for the Eldorado stone veneer. On the kitchen wall. After I picked out the stone, he set it aside and marked it sold. It was $50 for the delivery. Stacking stone is about $200 a pallet. He carries the Eldorado stone cabinetry; it is a mix of stone and cement. One of the cabinets was not the right one, I called him and he came right out and got it, drove it to the distributor, got me the right cabinet and brought it back that day and did not charge me. The distributor was 2 hours away. I will continue to use him. He had already been to my property and new my project and said, let us go out and pick the right color.

Provided a very smooth experience from start to finish. Mark responded to my call quickly, came out with samples, and was patient as my husband and I mulled our decision. He then quoted a price that was several thousand lower than other quotes we received. This enabled us to upgrade some of the components of the job and do more than we initially had planned on doing. Mark provided us with a contract that was broken down by line item for price. He was very transparent with regards to costs, timelines, warranty, and products. We were unable to be home for the entirely of the job, but Mark's workers could be trusted. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful of our property. The only hitch in the process was some minor damage to our newer driveway caused by the weight of one of their trucks on a hot day. Mark took full responsibility and was more than willing to pay for any repairs, but they were deemed unnecessary. We were very impressed with the speed at which everything was completed and the quality of craftsmanship. I did not expect some of the finishes that were done.We are thrilled with the end product all around and would certainly work with this company again. Very good value and good quality. Plus, I give the installers and masons credit for working through some notabnly hot and humid weather conditions, and for coming out on weekends to complete the job. They were extremely dedicated to their work.

AOTW Masonry
The work that was done came out extremely nice and the guys were very polite, professional and clean. There were masons that bid lower on this job, but Kevin seemed to have a much better grasp of what needed to be done and the results were better than what I expected, so even though not the cheapest, it was worth the money, and he was not the most expensive either.

AWe Care Free Inc
Just wanted to inform you that I recently had a big surprise; a pleasant experience with a contractor. The company, “We Care”, had performed some exterior work on the front of my house in May of 2011, and I was pleased with the outcome. However, after a recent storm, I had to place a service call to “We Care”, because some of their work got damaged. Within a matter of hours, the owner of the company personally came out and surveyed the damage. Two days later a crew was out to make the repairs free of charge, which I thought was impressive. I didn’t have to hear, this is storm related, or an act of God, or any other excuse to charge me a service fee. I was not surprised with the May outcome, because contractors have to satisfy the customer, in order to get paid. But, after they get your money, it’s usually a different story. I actually believe “We Care” really cares!!

ASun Viking Land Designs, LLC
Our front entry steps were cracked and pulling from house. In addition they were originally installed with a bad pitch, water flowed toward home. Derek from sun Viking came to my home for the estimate and after having 3 other estimates Derek was the only contractor who actually identified the actual problem and explained to me that simply veneering the steps would not correct it. I hired Sun Viking primarily due to Derek's knowledge and although the price was more than we budgeted for we went for it (We budgeted $6500 for the job). WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!! This company exceeded my expectations by doing the little things like pouring footers and rebuilding the steps from the ground up they also installed conduit line for adding step lighting or landscape lights to the homes front later on. His employees were punctual and polite. They explained things to me if I had questions as the job progressed. The finished product is just stunning and we have already received compliments from neighbors. Thank You Derek and the Sun Viking team!!!
