Recent Review: When the H2O PRO team finished working in the crawl space under my house, it was not only dry, but clean and bright. It was AMAZING! The water damage, restoration and drainage problem was completely fixed. I so appreciated the choice of quality materials and the care and skill with which the job was done. It was such a comfort to know I will never have to worry about these issues again. Would highly recommend.

TWO GUYS CONSTRUCTION INC
Recent Review: The owner of the company did the majority of the work and coworker did the painting. Overall Fred was a very nice person and seemed to be honest and had integrity. I wont say that he is a bad contractor trying to rip people off because he is not but he needs to take some steps back and get his business in order, in my opinion. There was no contracted signed only verbal agreement and the 2 year warranty that is on his web site. His estimate was quick and the price seemed the most fair out of all 6 that I had. I paid half up front and the rest when the work was completed. He said that he takes credit cards but we had to set up his phone to be able to accept them.....not my job. I was happy to help but it occurred to me that I shouldnt have to do that. 2 of his painters didnt show up on him so I offered to help paint a very small portion of the deck with him. I had no problem doing that. The co worker was supposed to clean up the paint supplies and never did. I did. In regard to my living room ceiling being sheet rocked, He did it and it looked okay but it took FOR EVER. He would show up late, around 2, after telling me he would be there at "the same time" which was around 10. 2 separate occasions no one ever showed up even when I was told someone would. I had to buy and match a quart of paint to fix the trim that his painter had screwed up. The older painter even broke my guitar string and said he would replace them but was no where to be found when Fred tried to call. The paint in my living room is okay, some on my ceiling. The ceiling however, cracked after 3 weeks, a good 6 feet. I sent a picture to him and got no response. I texted about my toilet leaking and was told that the wax seal settled and I need to tighten the bolts. Then I asked again about the ceiling and once again, nothing. It is still cracked and not fixed. I noticed this after he came and fixed a very small part of my bathroom..... Oh the bathroom....My master bath is awful. I picked out the tile which he got as requested. He completed the work which took for ever. I even let him have my house alone for 5 days while I went out of town and he said it would be finished when I returned. It was  not finished. Him and is step son came the next night and finished it and left at 930 at night. At that point, in the dark it looked okay. Not in the light. The tile is very sharp on the edges and not laid evenly and looks very crooked and unlevel in many spots. The grout cracked in between almost all of the floor tile, along the bottom of the tub and shower. There is grout on my walls and piled in the corners. There is calk smeared on my walls, mismatching base boards with nail holes all over and not flush with the floor and there is calk in between the wall and floor board because it was cut too short. One tile even pops every time I step on it. Grout was coming up in chunks along the tub and edge of door.  I called him and he finally came out with 5 people and took some of the grout up around the tub and caulked the edges. He caulked the edges around the tub and shower. He also "fixed" ONE of the tiny cracks in the grout and now the grout is mismatched and looks dirty and wet. I communicated very bluntly that I was not happy with the job and it was sloppy. His reply was that his bathroom looks similar too. Oh, the paint is awful. Spots are not painted on my wall and the trim is completely messed up and very obvious. He admitted that! One spot was not painted under the vanity and I said that I would take care of that. When he fixed the small part of my bathroom he left saying that he would come back to paint. He said that he wanted me to pick up a quart of paint so he could come back and fix it. Fred did not get a hold of me for two weeks so I contacted him. He said he would set up a time to come on a tuesday and that was the last time I heard from him. All I want is a nice bathroom and a good ceiling. He also told me that he underestimated the square footage of my bathroom and that the price was $1000 short and that it was his mistake. I would not recommend him as his scheduling is not reliable and his tile work is sloppy to say the lest. It has taken me a while to write this review but I cant stew on it anymore. I am NOT happy with the job but I dont want to hurt him as a person. All of this  was known to him. It was all communicated. I have received estimates on the cost of the repair.  I want my bathroom touched up to my standard and my ceiling fixed. That is all.

Phoenix Restoration
Recent Review: All aspect of the job were handled rapidly and with utmost professionalism.  I live 3 states away from home and was informed by neighbor that there was water coming out of the front door and he had shut off water.  A call to my insurance company recommended several options, one of which was that they would contact Phoenix Restoration.  I took this option.   Phoenix Restoration called back within the hour.   They offered to come right but I opted to meet them there the next morning.  They surveyed all the damage, found items I did not find on my own and began right way with several crews to rip out all damage and begin drying.  They even went under the house to removed damage  begin drying from the underside of the floor.  They cleaned up completely and left the property in great shape to drive with several dryer and blowers, checking dampness every day.  They were so professional, thorough, and efficient, I hired them to also do repair work.  THey replaced floor, carpets, vinyl, walls, trim counter tops that had buckled, and insulation from all areas which included, living room, dining area, kitchen, mud room, bathroom and hall.   They repainted all rooms.  Again the work was efficient and done in timely manner.  At the end, there was no evidence that there had even been damage.   All of this was handled with me being 3 states away and I needed to be there only 3 times.  The office staff, project managers, and workers were courteous, hard working, and answered any question I had.   Given the damage I saw on my first visit, I never imaged it would end so well.   I could not be happier with Phoenix Restoration.

Recent Review: We had had water damage to our house due to a leaky roof. I had the roof repaired some time prior to this fall. Rick came out and gave me an estimate on the drywall work over Thanksgiving. We schedule the work for December 27 and 28th because it’s our vacation home and don’t get to the beach as often as we would like. Rick was very impressive and explained in detail how the project would work. He showed up on Thursday the 27th as planned knowing he would have the work in our guest room done in plenty of time before our company arrived on Saturday. When he pulled the drywall out he found that the previous roof repairs had been done poorly. I could see the sky and obviously it was still leaking. So not only did we have company coming on Saturday but a storm as well and I had a leaky roof and drywall needing to be repaired. Rick devised a plan to make sure he could at least get the roof fixed before the rain and wind caused more damage. He then came back on New Year’s Eve and Day so that we didn’t have to give him access to the office after we left. Rick did a great job of sealing things up while our friends were there so they didn’t mind using the room. He did great work and we are discussing two additional projects with him. DON’T USE ANYONE OTHER THAN RICK!

JCS SIGNATURE CUSTOM HOMES & INTERIORS LLC
Recent Review: On July 27 my 100 year old Victorian home was struck by lightning. I had extensive fire and water damage. I had sold this home and was to have settled in 2 weeks. Jim Sabo, the owner of JCS Signature Custom Homes and Interiors, came to my home, took extensive pictures, presented me with a plan to restore my home and worked with my insurance adjuster. He began work as soon as my insurance allowed and worked tirelessly to complete my home. My buyer was willing to wait for the home to be restored, but obviously was anxious to have the process completed in a timely manner, without sacrificing the quality of the restoration. Jim's crew is composed of Master Craftsmen in all fields, from electrical, to plumbing, to plastering etc. Jim is very detail oriented and if he isn't personally satisfied with an end result, he re-does it. I never felt like I had to watch over his shoulder to make sure the job was being done correctly. His high level of ethics and integrity left me with no doubt that the job would be done correctly and to his very exacting, high standard. At no time did I come to the job project feeling that I would want something done differently. The quality of his work is outstanding. My home is in better shape today than before the fire, with no compromise in detail or quality. He worked tirelessly to restore my home to even better than it was before the fire, and did it in a very timely manner. Pictures of my home speak for themselves, and I would be happy to show pictures to anyone who needs them.
