We specialize in new installs, as well as repair work, for both residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. Recent Review: Alltemp quickly sent a rep to look at our house and provided a reasonable estimate in a very timely manner. We decided to go with another company recommended by our realtor -- a more local company.  One big plus -- Alltemp uses American Standard A/C equipment, which has the fewest repair problems, according to Consumer Reports.

Recent Review: I called Jeff from Gold Star on 7-15-15  and told him my central AC has stopped working and he told me he could have a guy out to my house between 10-12 the next day. The next day Phil from Gold Star showed up around 10:30 am and did a full system check and diagnostic and within 20 minutes found the problem. He had to replace the system board on the AC unit because a really big spider got in there and was fried. Phil was extremely professional and personable and was a great help. He even replaced my filters and went above and beyond and fixed the door to the filters which has been broken for some time. This has been the second time I've used Gold Star service and this is only the second time I have received top notch service from a A/C repair/installation company the owners Sean and Jeff have made themselves a great business that they should be proud of and the guys that work for them really show that this is a great company how they go above and beyond the normal customer service. Jeff if you read this I wanna thank you and take care of Phil he really impressed me with his work ethic and i'm not easily impressed and again thank you very much and keeping me cool in the summer. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys. When I had my plumbing issue, they didn't even charge anything additional for a weekend fee which was great. They catered to every need that you can possibly have. When they did the AC install and replacement, they spent well over the amount of time we discussed and they even had extra labor workers helping out with my specific job and they stuck to the price they gave me on the original estimate.

Our 12 year old Central AC unit burnt out and needed replacing. We contacted our current service company for an estimate to replace. The sales rep showed up with three estimates prepared that exceeded our budget. We went on Angie's List and noticed that First Class had very good ratings so we contacted them for an estimate. The sales representative for First Class Service was Duane who showed up on time and after looking at our unit reviewed all of our options with us, including repairing our existing unit. We discussed our budget for the project and based on that, Duane prepared 3 estimates (best, good and budget) for our consideration. The estimates were less than provided by our service company and the warranty was for 12 years. We also were able to use a Angie's list coupon to save an additional $500, so it was an easy decision. Installation went well. The two technicians Cameron and Matt showed up on time and did a great job. Our new system works great and so far we are very happy with it!

Overall, Horizon came out to my home for one reason......to sell me a new system. The maintenance that they performed was minimal, for a maximum price. The tech was condescending and pushy.  I would not call Horizon again.
