Recent Review: Because of Jerry's outstanding professionalism, quality of work, and responsiveness, this project went wonderfully from start to finish. Work done: replacement of 8 interior doors and hardware, interior wood trim work, baseboard installation and replacement. Jerry is very responsive, which is unique, and appreciated. He is also flexible. It's obvious that Jerry is a craftsman, based on the quality of his work and the attention and care paid to detail. A challenge presented itself when installing baseboard in the stairway.. Jerry came up with a solution to the challenge that enhanced the beauty of the baseboard. Jerry did the work himself, worked a full day, with cleanup done each day. On a more personal note, Jerry is a gentleman and was a real pleasure to have working with us on this project. We were blessed to find him.

Recent Review: It required tearing down a wall and building another wall, which included replacing electrical work, fixing the floor, installing trim and paint. His fee was reasonable.

Recent Review: I admit this was a leap of faith for me, as Fred has few online reviews and I only found his name from his truck in the parking lot of Home Depot (I typically look on Angie's List and other sites to find contractors).  However, I have left this thinking I found a hidden gem. I had five skylights were the lightbox was not adjusted when they were installed by a prior owner (as a result, two were crooked relative to the box and three were shorter than the new skylight).  They were also untrimmed, and I was looking to trim them before looking for window shades.  I wanted to either resize the lightboxes or find a creative way to trim them.  However, for such a small job, I was not finding anyone interested in doing it. Fred was very willing to take on my job and gave me an honest opinion that it probably wasn't worth resizing the lightboxes (indeed, I heard elsewhere an engineer and permitting would be required) and found a very straightforward solution for trim that would be visually acceptable, even with the elongated skylights. He did my skylights and a neighbor's (with the same issues) in the course of a week, each project taking one day.  He was very considerate, even asking to postpone a day so he wouldn't trek the coating of snow outside into my house. The fit on the trim (which is PVC in order to account for moisture) is excellent and the work on the large skylights is very creative (the side that borders the overhang of the skylight is trimmed with a flat piece of border rather than the thicker trim he used around the other edges). Overall, I think I found myself a solid carpenter to keep in my pocket for the next project that crops up.  From what I hear from my neighbor, she agrees and has already hired him for another project.

Recent Review: I cannot express enough to anyone, how outstanding John’s work is.  His work was so good that I hired him for many jobs after this one.  Dealing with contractors is a scary thing. Will the work be done correctly, will they show up, will they just take your money, etc. John is a man of his word and his work quality says it all.

Recent Review: It went well. They showed up on time and did the job right. There were some challenges due to the doors being adjacent to each other and different heights, but we were both able to agree upon the proper outcome for a satifactory completion of the job.

From the start I had a VERY good experience with this company. The estimator arrived earlier than anticipated, gave me and outline of the work that needed to be performed, and a solid quote. Bernard was very precise and quick which made this a pleasant experience. I was called back and work was scheduled to be done on Tues 5/29 between 08:00 - 09:00. Handyman showed up at exactly 8:02, explained what he was going to do and went to work. The job was completed at 10:00 and looked very professional and complete. I'd happily choose this company again for any future handyman jobs I have.

The work was performed in a timely manner and looks great. Price was cheaper than estimates received from other companies and work appears to be flawless.

This was the third, small job that Bob did for us.  He replaced trim around our garage doors, installed new storm doors on front and back doors, and, on the date listed above, installed a new sliding door, replacing an old French door.  Bob is at all times professional, friendly and thorough.  I look forward to hiring him for larger jobs in the future.
