Recent Review: I went out and contacted a few different vendors from Angie's List. Basement Pros was far and away the best. They immediately responded to my initial inquiry and had a sales guy to my door in just a few days. After comparing other quotes, Basement Pros easily beat the competition. They completed the job in one day, which was great for my schedule. Looking at all they did, I'm surprised in the quality and quickness for which they did it! I'm usually an advocate of you get what you pay for, but these guys really do a fantastic job at such a low price. I would recommend them to anyone in the area for basement waterproofing.
Recent Review: They were actually involved in the construction of my home. They have since come and done some work for me. The sump pump was on an emergency basis and they came out on a weekend when nobody else would come so they really helped me with that.
Recent Review: Ben Franklin came out on a emergency call on a Sunday due to us losing water, what we didn't know was the main septic pipe pulled apart under the house and left a foot of liquid sewage. Shawn crawled under our home and found the problems and had a clean up crew from Gale Force, that they work with, come out that evening to start. He returned the next day and got our water running and returned on wednesday to finish the repairs. Would highly recommend both Ben Franklin, Shawn, and Gale Force to our family, friends and co workers.
Recent Review: Kim was fantastic and very professional in explain the inspection process. He was very honest and open while explain how sump pumps work. I learned a lot from him. I would highly recommend him for future jobs. Great job Kim.
I was delighted with the service Edwin Gomez provided. In addition to his good work he was also polite and helpful. I will highly recommend him and absolutely use him, again.

DLongneck Plumbing & Heating
we were out of town when sandy hit this area. got home to find the basement flooded. our sump pump had failed. we called long neck plumbing asking if they had a large sump pump available to pump the basement. the woman assured us they did. the techs responded fairly quickly. No sump pump! told us that we needed a new one. the guys went out to purchase one. took about 2 hours. pump was replaced with something similar to what we had. Not bigger, Not better. we could have went to Lowes ourselves to purchase this pump for $98.00 the tech was in a rush to do the job. if he spent 20 minutes it was a lot. Never gave us direct answers to the questions we asked. Tech never checked to see why the original pump didn't work. He took our old pump when he left. later we found that the outlet that it was plugged into didn't have any current. to this day I wonder if that pump was operable and all we needed to do was plug it in another outlet like they did with the new one.

FBill Rust Plumbing Inc
The pump was installed on time, BUT, the installation did not include a container to force the water to separate from the surrounding media. As a consequence, when the pump activated, water and the material under the concrete was pumped out at the same time. The consequence of this was that the floor of my basement started to collapse as a consequence of the improper and incompetent installation. The approach to the work was both lazy and incompetent. In addition, I was quoted $300.00 for the installation of the pump, but when the bill arrived, it was for $750.00, despite the fact that the job went as was anticipated. I would not hire this company again.

BThompson's Basement Waterproofing
On time- worked all day finishing when they said they would. 2 rains so far and no water. Cleaned up, too. Only thing I didn't like is they broke something and scraped my washer badly, and didn't tell me I had to discover that later.

ABasement Waterproofing Nationwide Inc
Basement Waterproofing Nationwide did excellent work in a timely and proffessional manner for a reasonable and appropriate fee. They said they would complete the work in 1-2 days and were done in one day. They were very careful and left things neater than they were before they came. We have used them before with great success and would use them again. So far, the problem we had, water in our basement, has not recurred, and our basement is bone dry. Tnank you Basement Waterproofing Nationwide.

Gary is a wonderful plumber. I have used him many times (and so do my parents) and he is always reasonably priced and thorough. He is not after a quick buck - if he thinks there are alternatives to a costly fix, he will tell you. When I first moved into my house, I had a leaky toilet. It turned out to be an extremely minor fix, but he did come all the way out in the evening. He wasn't even going to charge me but I insisted on giving him something for his time. Another time, he advised me to contact the City first about a problem I was having before bringing him out to save the money in case the problem was on the city's side. Unfortunately for me, it was on my side so I had to contract Gary to replace half of the old broken pipes leading out from my house. Again, he took care of the problem promptly and cleaned up after the repairs. He is a very kind person and very trustworthy.
