Recent Review: I originally wasn't sure it was possible for Amazing Tree to make my property any more beautiful but they did. Middle of October I found myself in Portland Oregon. Portland was filled with amazing gardens and beautiful landscaping. While there, a crazy idea hit me and I reached out to the owner of Amazing Tree and told him my ideas. After I returned home, Matt came out to my property and we talked about my ideas and what I saw in OR. I told Matt I wanted a cutting garden along with a grotto with water for my Blessed Mary Statue. Matt scratched his head once or twice but I had no doubt that he could take my ideas and make magic happen. About two weeks later Matt showed up with his crew and a plan. He didn't even have one of his infamous drawings that I've grown find of but I wasn't worried. I was in good hands. Even when Matt told me he was going to make the trellis himself, I did not fret. I trusted him and his crew. I only wish I could show you pictures. The Grotto he made for me is truly remarkable. With a moving water feature and a little pond with beautiful plants and flowers. I can not wait for the little woodland creatures to visit my backyard. With Blessed Mary watching over my property. My cutting garden frames an amazing walkway with two trellises and I now have two benches. The walkway isn't just a straight line, but looks like the curves of a woman's body and sincerely adds to the beauty. I have lighting along the pathway and more landscape lights illuminating my grotto and when I open my patio doors, all I can hear is the gentle whisper of the water. My one regret, the one thing that I wish I could change? I wish I had more available land for Matt to work his magic with. That is my only regret. Trust Amazing Tree. Trust Matt. You won't regret it. If you want to come check out my property first - feel free! I'm happy to show it off!!. :)

Recent Review: I wanted to have a nice transition between the deck off the kitchen of my house and a patio outside my den which is about 6 feet below the level of the deck.   The space was roughly 18' x 6' feet.   I called Paul at Pezzotti brothers, who was pleasant and scheduled an appointment.   Paul showed up at the agreed time, and brought his picture book.   My wife and I describe what we were thinking of and Paul listened to us and said he would be back with some drawings and an estimate.   Paul followed up with us in a bout a week, and his drawing hit the mark with what we were wanting in terms of both the water feature and the accompanying plantings.  IT was a natural rock based waterfall with a pondless pool at the bottom along with a 18 foot sitting wall with decorative lighting both in the pantings and in the pond and and waterfall. Paul's team showed up about 2 months after the estimate and began work, as they had worked scheduled before ours.   They were truly artisans at what they do and took great care not to damage any of the decking or patio they were working around.   The end product looked and sounded fantastic both day and night.   It is a great focal point in our outdoor living area.   Will definitely use him in the future.

Reviews in Delaware City to Install Water Fountain

DEnvironmental Landscape Associates
Around the beginning of the summer of 2015 I contacted Environmental Landscape Associates, Inc (ELA) in Doylestown, PA, regarding a water feature I was contemplating for my back yard in Bucks County, PA. I met with their water feature manager who discussed and explained various options to me. After visiting my property to discuss the project further, ELA provided a written proposal to me that included a drawing of a small waterfall with a bending stream into a small pond. The total footprint of the water feature was approximately 8? x 13?. The proposal and the design were acceptable to me except for the proposed aquatic plants. We discussed the choice of plants through emails and I instead chose different aquatic plants that were not listed in the original proposal and ELA agreed to use my recommended plants. I gave ELA a $2,500 deposit on Aug 27, 2015 when I accepted the proposal. The installation of the water feature started on Sept 8, 2015 and the installation was completed on Sept 10, 2015 and I paid the $3,415.70 balance due. I will note that despite the emails I exchanged with ELA regarding the types of aquatic plants they still brought the wrong plants for the water feature. Missing that detail should have indicated to me their installation work was not detail oriented. Unfortunately, I paid ELA too early because the very next week on Sep 18, 2015 I informed ELA that the water feature was not retaining water and appeared to have a leak.  In the 10 days since the installation the water feature lost approximately 3 inches of water and required me to refill it with the garden hose.  Over the next 5 weeks ELA sporadically worked on my water feature to fix the leak, but they had no success and admitted they were stumped. At this point they left my water feature in a partially excavated state. More than 2 weeks passed without ELA contacting me about their plans to fix the leak so I gave them an 18-day deadline to fix it. No one from ELA showed up at my property during that 18-day period to work on the water feature or in the 10 days since the end of the deadline, which makes it nearly 6-7 weeks since they last attempted to fix the leak. Needless to say, my water feature is still in a partially excavated state and every week or two I now have to fill the water feature with the garden hose. I give ELA a failing grade of D for installing a defective water feature and my advice to those who may still want to use ELA for a water feature installation is do not make your final payment until 2 weeks after the installation is complete to ensure it does not contain any leaks.

ALAND & SEASCAPES
The owner was extremely responsive and quick to schedule our work! Fully explaining the pricing. He and his team of 3 men arrived precisely when he said they would and were courteous and professional. They were meticulous and neat and the owner was very knowledgeable about landscaping and water features. The results were beautiful and the pond rejeuvenated.

The owner came out completed about 80% of the work in October and said as long as I liked it he would come back and finish the job in a few days. I wasn't home when he worked on the water feature.  I had to frequently call back to see when the job would be done.  It finally got to be too cold to complete the job so it had to wait until the spring.  When spring came and it became nicer out I called to see what was going on.  I had to call several times before I would receive a call back.  When the owner called me back he was extremely rude telling me I was impatient. He finally came to finish the job in late spring and did a horrible job. When I called him he couldn't understand why I was unhappy with the job.  It looked like the job was completed in a rush and a child could have done a better job.   I told him not to bother coming back and I would complete the job myself.  I  would NEVER use this company again.  I have a neighbor who was also not happy with his work and timeliness.

ACEDAR RUN LANDSCAPES
Alden and his team did a remarkable job. I had a blank space and I was very open to ideas...I had 4 landscapers come give me their thoughts and quotes. Alden was the only one that suggested a water feature and I'm extremely happy I went in this direction. It's incredibly soothing and the greenery/trees surrounding the pond-less waterfall accent it perfectly. I would recommend to anyone and plan on using Alden and his team in the future.

AGreen Acres Nursery & Garden
We met Mike at a home show in the Spring, and solicited designs and quotes from Green Acres as well as several other providers.  Green Acres provided the most responsive and comprehensive plan and the most value for the money.  Mike was very collaborative during the design phase and agreed to incorporate our ideas into the final plan (for instance, devising a propane fueled fire feature with a tank enclosure and remote controlled mechanism). Most of the work was done over a week during mid-July.  The Green Acres crew arrived daily with their equipment and material and often worked straight through with few noticeable breaks.  Even though the wall/ fire pit was built with pre-cast paver type material, the curves and angles required a lot of cutting and fitting, which was accomplished with skill and the finished product is very high quality.   We pre-selected some of the material (the water feature rock, for instance) and the larger planting pieces for the landscaping.  The crew installed or planted these with the same skill and quality. In the end, we had a couple of things on our punch list and Mike took care of them promptly.   Mike's standard response to anything is: "no problem" and that pretty much sums up the whole job.  It was complicated, time consuming, and costly, but, in the end, the whole thing was "no problem."

AStenger Landscaping
They were quite good up until their last project. Unfortunately, this has been a very bad year for the landscaper because of the whether. In general, they did good work. It is hard to say anything about their quality because they did some very, very good work and they did some work that I have problems with. They did a lot of work for us. I had very good experience with them and only at the end that I had a bad experience with them. We had so much rain; to the point that people's landscapes were being completely spoiled. I think what happened after the rain that they got too much business with people who had very serious problem with water flooding and all that, so up until that point I would have given them straight As.

From beginning to end, it was an absolute pleasure working with Scott and his crew.  They did an OUTSTANDING job and we could not be more pleased!  Neighbors walking through the neighborhood always stop to admire and compliment both the work done in front and out new pondless water feature in the backyard which you can readily see from the sidewalk.  We feel like we are truly living in our shangri-la oasis thanks to Scott and Cambridge.  He is absolutely AWESOME and again, we would highly recommend him.  If you are thinking of retaining Scott/Cambridge, he can give your our phone number and we would be pleased to speak with you or to have you come by to see his work.

I liked the design ideas and the finished work is beautiful. On the day of the job everything was exciting and the crew was doing well. Suddenly the finishing touches were put on a wall that was too short. I couldn't see the water feature on the other side of the hot tub. I insisted on it being finished to plan. A week later I received a bill for $500 more for "changing the design". I already had the rock, by the way. There were also some hidden charges for electrical that were considerably more than I would have incurred had I used my own electrician - but in the midst of the installation I opted out (without a quote - ow!). A larger pot which he said would cost $60 more turned into $100 plus $25 for the exchange. I paid for these. He says I "changed the plan", I say "I insisted on the original plan". That $500 I'm not paying. Very angry contractor - lots of demanding, threatening phone calls and emails. I would never use him again, despite the excellent work of his employees.
