Pete and Dave called to say they were running a bit late - only 20 minutes or so but I appreciated the call. They did the work perfectly, with good humor, kept the work areas spotless and cleaned up again before they left. They are totally professional and accommodating. Can't say enough good about them!

No problems, Chris contacted me directly, promptly after I booked on Angie's List and we discussed what I needed done, he asked further questions and answered and we set up a time. Chris was on time and after going thru the house and discussing what was to be done he started the work and did not stop until done. I had intended to replace the bathroom fan/ light/heater unit in the bathroom but Chris noticed that there was a possibility of just replacing the exhaust fan instead of the entire unit, he called the company to confirm fan replacement (yes) so exhaust fan was ordered and replaced and the unit was returned for a savings of $200. After the exhaust fan was received Chris came back to install as was on time again and courteous. I would definelty recommend Chris.

Politely answered all questions. Covered feet once they came into house. Installed fan in a timely manner and made sure they checked which side I wanted to be seen. They were a little late, but did call me to let me know.

Ken Papa is was a pleasure to work with ! He was on time and was totally professional. The exhaust fan I purchased didn't totally fit the space where the old one was, but Ken found a creative way to make it fit. He Also did a great job replacing my ceiling fan too. I thought I would be able to use my old wall mounted control switch with the new fan, but before he even started, Ken warned me that the old control switch may cause a noise when the new ceiling fan was turned on. Sure enough, as soon as the new fan was turned on, a hum occurred. But once again Ken found a clever solution to the problem and now it runs just fine with no hum at all. Ken was neat and did a great job cleaning up. He seemed really focused on making sure I was satisfied. Finally, I felt his price was very reasonable. The best evidence I can give of how pleased I am with Ken's work is to say that he's coming back shortly to replace some track lighting.

Mixed opinion. First technician at my house replaced 5 outlets in a bedroom quick- no problem. Then went to the living room ceiling fan and didn't have ladder high enough. Its only a 11' or so ceiling. He had like a 6' ladder at best. I do wish i had explained that part to be sure this wouldn't happen but some of it was my negligence thinking a van with a bunch of ladders would show and not a pick up with only one 6'. So he couldn't fix that. I explained that the remote was not working. The technician took a while to tell me the remote isn't working. He made me race around looking for a new battery. His next duty was to replace a light socket in an bathroom exhaust fan. My g/f had tried to remove the dead bulb and a bunch of the metal broke off remaining in the socket. I knew it was ruined but was hoping for a replacement. I explained it over the phone but apparently it was told to him just to check it out. The technician said he couldn't replace it and that i should check out a couple places to see if they have a spare. I was content with the answer but he seemed to take a long time to look at it. I was displeased with the price. It was a lot of money for changing 5 outlets which took him 20 minutes. He also was on the phone some with can be poorly perceived. He later called the owner but the owner wasn't in the area so he could get a taller ladder. so he left saying to reschedule but i get a big bill for him to work for 20 minutes and the rest of the time telling me what i already know. I had made a call to the owner to complain but he said he felt it was fair and he would like to come out and finish it. The new technician was the owner. He changed the ceiling fan very quickly and gave us valuable instructions on the new remote which i had supplied to him. He did a good job. He replaced one more exterior outlet real quick. He gave us some advice on the bathroom exhaust fan. He made an offer to make me happier by saying he will charge me a little less for this part of the project. The owner had told me over the phone that he would talk to the technician about a couple things but he said he forgot. He could have saved both of us some time if he had talked to his technician about my project. I received a bill and it wasn't the right price. The internal communication was POOR. I had to make several calls to get the right price because i told the front desk girl and she replied will talk to the owner. Finally i received the corrected bill with the angies list coupon and other minor changes including the deal he gave on the ceiling fan installation. owner did good work but dissatisfied enough not to invite them back.

Ken and his assistant Mike showed last week and did a great job installing two bathroom exhaust fans as well as set up the venting through my attic. They showed up on time, finished a bit earlier than I expected and did great job over all. The fans look great and work exactly as I expected. I also liked that Ken basically told me what parts to buy and what fans he would recommend for our bathrooms which allowed us to pick out and choose which ones we wanted to install. A couple of the other contractors I spoke to basically sold the fans they wanted to install which I wasn't as inclined to do.
Recent Review: Mark arrived on time and had all of the parts needed to make the repairs. He also made some adjustments to another ceiling fan that wasn't working correctly due to bent blades. It ended up costing me more than I'd anticipated (I was expecting about $200), but the fan needed more parts than originally thought. Overall, I was very pleased with the service.
