Our circuit breaker was tripped by a hedge trimmer. After resetting the circuit breaker, our entire first floor was still in the dark. A first floor bathroom outlet had a reset button which normally would rectify what resetting the circuit breaker alone could not fix. This time, however, the bathroom outlet reset button failed to work. Ken Papa, the electrician, did some re-wiring with the bathroom outlets. Then he checked our fairly complicated (due to a large addition to the original house) electrical system throughout our house. He split two circuit breakers so that there wouldn't be electrical overload. He cleaned up our two electrical panels so the electrical distribution and our usage would not keep tripping the circuit breakers. He even sawed off a shelf so that the doors of the electric panel would be more accessible. Since his visit, we have been able to use our microwave, toaster oven, hot water heater, and dehumidifier all at the same time without tripping any circuit breakers. I got the name of this provider from the Yellow Pages after several attempts at calling electricians I had used previously. They were all busy and were not able to even come to the house for two days. I called Ken Tuesday evening and received a call back on Wednesday at 8am. He came late Wednesday morning and spent about one and half hour working. Additionally, Ken replaced 4 old (connected to fancy timers) electrical switches for us and helped me figure out which outside lights they were responsible for. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. His strongest asset was his efficiency. I have seen many electricians at work, but he would have to be one of the most efficient ones.
