Recent Review: The week of January 16th, Chris Wilson, working under the business name "Wilson Fence & Renovation" completed installing 23 fence posts and attached fence pieces to the fence. I had purchased all materials on our own prior to Mr. Wilson installing the fence, except for the cement and nails. I had purchased 3 1/2 inch screws which he refused to use. On February 8, 2012 five pieces of the fence fell down. I also noticed that many of the fence posts were not secure in the ground and are unstable. I also saw Mr. Wilson using nails of insufficient length to attach the fence pieces to the posts. When I offered him screws to use instead, he refused. I also have cement in my freshly planted grass due to Mr. Wilson and his crew spilling cement in the yard. As well as I had a hose reel broken that was used by Mr. Wilson and his crew. I contacted Mr. Wilson numerous times requesting him to come and fix the fence, with either no response back or being told that he would come out sometime during the week, which he never did come out. I started calling Mr. Wilson at the end of February to come out and fix the fence. I have text messages starting on March 4th, where I texted him a picture of the damage to the fence, and he replied that he would stop by that week, he never showed up. I offered him 3 1/2 inch screws via text message, and he replied that he "had everything" he needed. I sent him a text message again on March 21, which he replied he was in Denver. I sent him another text message on March 27th with no response. Again on April 5th I sent a text message asking when he would fix the fence, and he stated he would fix it that week, he never showed up. On April 12th I sent him a text message asking when he would be over, again I was told it would be that week, and again, he did not show up. On April 15th, I looked up his license number given on his website with the State of Connecticut eLicensing website, and noticed his license was in the "Lapsed" state (elicense.ct.gov). I have been very disappointed with the customer service as I keep being told that he will come by to make repairs he has not once shown up.
