1 May 2012, 1:30pm - I called NE Renovations.  Office took my information and stated someone would return my call. 1 May 2012, 6:59pm - Rich called.  I asked if they did work in Connecticut (I live 9 miles from the RI/CT line).  He told me they did.  I explained that I wanted to do a complete kitchen remodel.  We made an appointment at my house for 9:00am, 12 May 2012. 10 May 2012, 12:45pm - Their office called me.  Stated that due to the recent heavy rains, several emergency jobs came up.  Rescheduled to 9:00am, 19 May 2012. 19 May 2012, 7:56am - Rich called to confirm. 19 May 2012, 9:00am - Rich came out and discussed the scope of the job.  I told him we wanted a complete kitchen remodel, replacing all of the cabinets and countertops, tearing down a non-load bearing wall, and replacing 3 windows.  I asked if I could perform most of the demolition in order to save money; he said that would be no problem.  He took measurements and said they would draw up a couple of options and provide us with a quote. 19 May 2012, 3:55pm - Sent an email telling him that after he left, my wife and I jotted down some ideas that we want incorporated into the kitchen renovation.  Things like, garbage disposal, under-cabinet "rolling" trash container, pull out can goods storage, spices storage, appliance garages, range hood (must vent outside), etc. 30 May 2012, 3:51pm - I called their office requesting an update.  They said they would have Rich call me. 19 June 2012, 4:25pm - Again I called their office requesting an update.  Again they said they would have Rich call me. For the life of me, I do not know what I said or did that has caused Rich to refuse to return my calls!  In my opinion, this is the most disrespect that I have ever received from a business.  If he doesn't want to do the job because I would be doing the demolition, he should have the common courtesy to tell me.  Likewise, he should also inform me if he cannot do the work because I live in Connecticut. I still have not received a quote or phone call telling me why not.  My kitchen remodel has been needlessly delayed 2 months due to this futile exercise!  I must now start the process all over and look for another contractor.
