This person never advertises; his name just spreads by word of mouth because he is so good. He is a perfectionist and is excellent. He has been in business for a lot of years and is dependable and reliable. His pricing is reasonable and the quality is excellent. I will use him again in the future.

They did all the excavating before the framing started and before the masonry was done. They did my whole yard and they were excellent.

They're very excellent. Pagliaro Excavating were very good, they cleaned up, they did not make a mess. They even came back and helped us again when the tractor trailers was stuck in the mud itself. They came and moved the trailers around for us to put them in position with no extra charge. The pricing was very reasonable.

ACastlton Environmental Contractors
They were outstanding. I had a very big job done on digging up in the basemetn. They digged out an old oil tank. They had cleaned it and cleared it. It is inactive now but has to be done by law. It was a very big job and they were outstaanding. Every man that came and worked was wonderful. It was a clean and beautiful job that took over several days.

The entire Allied Excavating team was a DREAM to work with- especially Richie! My husband and I tore down and existing house and built a new one. Allied handled the job from the demolition to the excavation with expert precision and speed. From the initial quote which was extremely fair to the the finished product which was pristine was a breeze. I would recommend Allied to anyone. Through the entire home building process we enjoyed our experience with this contractor the most. Don’t hesitate to hire Allied Excavating

AEarthly Lawns & Landscapes LLC
Lou is the owner of Earthly Lawns and he is heaven to work with! We had an in the ground propane tank we needed removed. Lou worked with our propane company and coordinated the whole shebang! He kept us informed throughout the whole experience. He ascertained the permit, came early on the day, removed it without a problem, advised the inspector would be here at the end of the week and then he will call the propane company to take the tank away! What a super duper guy! In fact we plan on having him do some landscaping work! Why would we use anyone else? If you’re looking for a reliable, honest cool dude Lou is DEFINITELY your man! Super happy!

ALashar Landscape & Excavation LLC
It was an absolute pleasure having Jamie come and do to the excavation for our backyard, clearing and grading about 5,000 sq ft of virgin woodland, removing heavy brush, sapplings, huge boulders and stumps, etc. He came out for an estimate right away, scheduled us in quickly, got the job done with no issues whatsoever, and communicated with us the whole time to make sure expectations were being met. He's a master with the excavator, working quickly and cleanly. Jamie is also extremely knowledgeable, we were very thankful to be able to seek his advice on a few things. He left the property tidy and ready for grass seed. Really above and beyond quality work, plus super fair pricing. Our neighbors even came over to tell us how impressed they were with the work! We have more projects that need to be done, we will be calling him again, and would confidently recommend him to anyone.

Everything went smoothly. Very knowledgeable and professional. They have been in business for over 40 years and it shows. They also own and maintain a large fleet of equipment. I would strongly recommend.
Recent Review: This was a huge project and MAJOR change to our property. It was extremely stressful to take down so many large trees and figure out how to transform the property with safety, budget, future maintenance etc. in mind, and we are glad we did this with Dan and the team. Dan is very easy to work with, and worked with us to make a plan to stay in budget (which required him to come out several times and review ideas/changes with us). It took 5 full days to complete this project, and involved heavy equipment on the property. The guys worked super hard, were polite and professional (we were not surprised given our first experience with them last Fall). We give a shout out to John who was a master on the heavy equipment and super careful with our driveway. Originally we were going to grass the berm that was created (for a temporaty step) but realized on day 4 that it would be better to mulch it in prep for future plantings. This change on our part required Dan to come out again on site (which he had done each day of the project to check in) and figure out on the fly how to get 30 yards of mulch to the site (all trucks were already on other jobs this day). He said "I'll figure it out" and within a few hours the mulch was here. The guys that worked the landscape portion of the job were excellent too. Clean-up was wonderful (as it was the first time), and several days after the project was done, one of the team came out to pick up some boards used to protect the driveway. He inspected the lawn, and added more topsoil/seed in a few areas. We really appreciated this check-in, and it makes us feel like they really care that things are going right for us. Stephanie is always a pleasure to work with on the back-end office communications, and it's refreshing to know she is there for quick questions that we don't want to bother Dan with. She is always very prompt with follow-up too. This is a can-do company with polite, professional, and hard-working workers from Dan on through the whole team. They know what they are doing. It is no small thing for us to say that we are comfortable with any one of the team on our property.
Recent Review: Absolutely great. The price was very fair. My tank was decommissioned 30 years ago. The top was cut off and it was filled with sand. The team arrived on time. They did their best to do the least damage to my lawn and nearby bushes. I had a few extras to pay for because of contaminated water and sand but they kept this to a minimum. The team leaders explained everything they were doing and why as they went along. They had a good rapport with the inspector which helped the whole job go smoothly.
Recent Review: I recently used Diiorio Landscaping and Excavating to excavate and install a 1000 gallon propane tank at my house and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Phil Diiorio and his team came recommend to me by an industry professional who regarded him as one of the neater, more professional excavators. I bid this excavation job out to five local excavators and ultimately awarded it to Phil for a number of reasons including fair price, communication throughout process, questions he asked / things he pointed out, and reputation. Phil was on time and got the job done on time, including breaking through a serious amount of rock ledge, to keep the overall project on schedule. He then went above and beyond the following day when the city DOB inspector alerted my propane contractor the day of our rough-in inspection that the city was no longer going onsite for inspections, and all had to be done via FaceTime. Problem was my propane contractor could not meet onsite that day so our project would be delayed. Thats when Phil contacted the DOB inspector, conducted the inspection via FaceTime, and kept us on schedule. If you want a professional job done, on time, and for a competitive price, Diiorio Landscaping snd Excavating is for you. I look forward to working with Phil again on future projects. A+++
Recent Review: Wayne Jeffers, Jr. from Barrier came to our home to discuss the work we wanted done and gave us a price quote. We also got 2 other price quotes. We selected Barrier for the job because their pricing was competitive and we liked the way they answered our questions and concerns. The work began on 8/28/12, when arriving at 8:30am, the crew worked ten hours that first day installing our new garage tank, hooking it up to the furnace, transferring usable oil from the old tank to the new one, and then physically removing and cutting up the old tank using the "hand dig" option we had selected. Having detected a small but definite amount of leakage from the old tank, remediation was necessary and they spent two more days (8/29 and 8/30) carefully digging out soil from the old tank area and isolating soil samples for the necessary lab testing. After it was determined that they had reached apparently "clean soil" and Barrier had received lab confirmation of that fact, the old tank parts were hauled away. A dumpster was brought in to take away the oil contaminated soil after Barrier had neatly filled the site where they had dug out the old tank with clean soil. Until these last steps were done, the two piles of soil (contaminated and good) were completely covered with plastic tarps to contain the soil and the excavation site was also covered. Ultimately Barrier prepared a "closure report" that was filed with the necessary state and local government offices and submitted to us in duplicate for our own purposes. We had good communication with Barrier throughout the process, and we were pleased with the quality, professionalism and pleasant courtesy that was consistent from start to finish. We wanted to replace the old foundation plantings along the front of the house, though Barrier would have put back the ones they removed to get at the oil tank, and Mr. Jeffers recommended a landscaper whom we did use and were delighted with the results. We are very happy to recommend Barrier to anyone needing similar work done at their home. SMH and WCH, Briarcliff Manor, NY
Recent Review: A job very well done & at a better than fair price considering the amount of excavating done. On that note, Steve has an above average understanding of excavating and water flow principles. Along with that comes great skill as operator of heavy equipment. We had some tight spots to navigate around home and Steve proceeded confidently and carefully. I recommend Steve & his crew for your drainage solutions without hesitation.
