2 months after installation, I looked out the window to find the awning bent in the middle. We called Alladin to inform them of the situation. From that point on, they were a nightmare! The owner came out to take pictures, which he was going to share with the manufacturer, only after we made numerous phone calls to him. Upon his arrival, he immediately started looking for excuses to remove his company from any liability and accused us of damaging the awning!!! First, he stated that to him, it was apparent that someone had thrown something up at the center of the awning to bend it. The awning was at the back of the house, on the second floor, 20 feet above the patio. It is my contention that the awning had bent because it hadn't been properly installed. Before he left, he said that he was going to send someone out to remove the awning. I told him that since the awning had bent less than 2 months after he installed it, and was pretty severely damaged, I did not want it REPAIRED, I wanted a new one. He shrugged and said he would get back to me after he spoke to the manufacturer. We did not hear from him for another two months. After more phone calls from us, they finally came and removed the awning. At that point, the owner, inspecting our windows on the inside and saying that they were new, said that our awning had been damaged by the company that installed the windows. The windows had been installed two years prior to the awning! This guy was going to do everything possible to squirm out of his responsibility. We did not hear from them again and had to call for an update. Three months after they had removed the awning, again, not calling us but us calling them, the owner said that they had repaired the awning and wanted to reattach it. I no longer had any faith in them or their product . I contacted the manufacturer, who said that Alladin had never contacted him about any problems with the awning and he knew nothing about it. That was the last straw - the owner had been lying to us all along. We were insulted and offended by the owner's behavior. I asked for a refund. They have refused to give me even a partial refund and have fought me every step of the way! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
