Recent Review: 067We hired Distinctive Swimming Pools to maintain the swimming pool at our weekend home in Litchfield ,Ct. We have had several firms over the past few years but we finally found the best in Distinctive Pools. They are a small family owed business, they  where very knowledgeable in all aspects of our pool and equipment from water chemistry to our computer control system and salt water  system. They solved a water clarity problem that 2 companies could not.We found them to be very professional.Their pricing wasnot the least expensive but  cetainly not the most.We would highly recommend Distinctive to our Friends.                                                                                                             Jim  Rezendes

ADOLPHIN POOLS & SPAS LLC
All the work was done professionally and with attention to detail.  The old liner was removed and taken by the contractor.  The new liner was installed and fit perfectly in all corners and steps.  The crew was professional, attentive to detail and did not take any shortcuts.

FDenscot Pool & Spa
In 2005 we purchased a house with a pool. We knew the pool was in need of repair. Scott Pools in Woodbury was recommended to us by the realtor and they referred us to Denscot. We assumed they were a branch. Scott Meeker said the work would be done before the swimming season of 2006 began. They started after July 4th and emptied the pool. A major storm the next day raised the water table and lifted the pool out of the ground. Scott suggested refilling the pool with the pond's water to see if it would sink again. It didn't. We were then given the choice of trashing the pool and installing a new one or cutting off the highest side by a foot to make it seem level. We chose the latter. Because of the change in the topography, the pool continued to leak. Denscot sent a diver who said he filled the cracks. The pool continued to leak. Each week the maintenance guy said he couldn't clean the pool because the water level was too low. At the end of the summer Denscot sent us a bill for $300 more than contracted because of all the extra work. We threatened to sue him. He said he'd like to keep our business. We laughed.
