I called sameday - they checked the area and had someone who could come by.  They came on-time and was very professional.  They checked various ducts, taking temps, tested electrical (servos for zoning, central system, etc), and the coolant pressure.  They found that the blower speed was not high enough (should be high for the summer), so fixed the speed.  Added some coolant and instructed me on adjusting air flow from the ducts that come off of the main trunk.  He said that before replacing the blower, AC unit, or having someone rebalance the entire system, he advised taking the conservative approach and adjust the air flow first.  The result over the next several days was positive!  The house got cooler and less humid.  I need to adjust the air flow a bit more however.  I highly recommend Nutmeg and will call on them when we need to replace our old AC unit.

This dehumidifier is under warranty. I had already taken it to another authorized service dealer closer to my home three times for repair but they had not successfully repaired the dehumidifier. As soon as I returned home and plugged it in today, it's working great. It seems like Dwyer's did the job. Turn around time was quick; 1-2 work days.

From the initial inquiry when we first started communicating with them, we were immediately impressed with responsiveness, professionalism, but most importantly......NO PRESSURE sales. In the end, they were also cheaper for the same exact unit we went with compared to other estimates we had received. My husband was so grateful to Quentin when he first came out as he was extremely thorough and informative. This was our first time buying a furnace and he really educated us on the process. Following the initial meeting, we had an energy audit and central air serviced, before finally having the furnace and humidifier installed. Very professional, clean, and polite employees and VERY punctual. **I want to add something else: our furnace was installed on a Thursday a few days before headed into a heat-wave. Over that weekend, my elderly mother's central air unit stopped working. Note that my mother is not a customer of Nutmeg. I called on Monday morning and spoke with a very friendly female about my concerns with my mother being at home with no central air during the heatwave. That call was made at 7:40 am and by 4:00 pm that day, they had fixed her air. I don't know where else you will find service like that. A few days later.......WE received a thank you note from the company/Quentin. Who should be thanking who here ????? Customers (both US and my MOTHER) for life.

After hurricane Irene I discovered that a portion of my basement was flooded.  After determining there were no outside leaks and that the water wasn't coming from the hot water heater, I realized that the water was coming from my air conditioning unit.  Nutmeg sent a field technician out who showed up on time and was very friendly.  He quickly determined that the the condensate drain was clogged, that this was caused by a build up over a long period of time and that it was not related to the storm we had.  I had also asked him to look to see if he noticed anything wrong with my furnace because I had been told it was as old as the air conditioning unit, which is over 20 years old.  The technician told me that the furnace was from 2005 and told me that if anyone tried to tell me it was old they were trying to take advantage of the fact that I don't know much about heating/AC equipment.  I appreciated his honesty and that he was taking the time to help me learn more about the heating/cooling system.  He also explained the different parts of the air conditioning unit to me and said that if I found more water leaking after he unclogged the drain that it could mean that the condensate pan had cracked.  He told me that with the age of the air conditioner and the work that it would take to fix something like that, I might want to consider buying a new unit so that I wouldn't waste my money repairing something that was so old.  I didn't feel like he was pressuring me and I liked that he told me what my options would be and what he would do in my situation.  Thankfully I haven't had any water problems since he cleaned the drain so it seems as if I have some time to prepare to buy a new air conditioner.     Today (two days later) I received a follow-up call from Nutmeg.  They said that the technician wanted to make sure that I didn't have any water problems after he left.  They wanted to make sure that my unit wasn't showing signs of a larger problem.  I was impressed that they cared enough to call back to make sure they had completely fixed my problem.  I told them that I would be calling them when I decided to replace my air conditioning unit.  The man on the phone was very helpful and gave me a useful tip.  He told me if I knew I was going to replace the unit, to call during the off season so that they can give me all the information I need to make a decision before I am forced to do so because of the unit failing.  He explained that they always hate to see people feeling rushed to make a decision and that they want to give them plenty of time to decide what is the best option for them.  Again, there was no sign of pressure to buy.  I appreciated his advice and will be calling them in the future to get an estimate.  Overall I had a great experience with Nutmeg and would recommend them to my friends.

Two men worked for 4 hours. They did a good job on cleaning. Had fans and dehumidifiers for 3 days. Cost $6000. My insurance paid but no wonder our insurances are so high.

The technician cleaned a mouse nest out of the condenser unit, disconnected a broken humidifier, and gave an estimate on a new humidifier and installation. Also gave us some advice as newbies to central air conditioning.
