Recent Review: It was an expensive time. They did a super job and they left the basement cleaner than when they found it. I knew the price was high because I had lower quotes. There were particular reasons that I chose them to do the work that was different than the cost. I was very satisfied with them. They agreed to cut the fuel tanks up in the basement and remove them in pieces rather than me having to hire a carpentry to make a wider stairway and a wider doorway for them to take it out whole. Nobody else was willing to do that, they wanted to bring it in in one piece and take it out in one piece. They did a beautiful job. They came in with a big enough crew to do it all in one day. They worked about 6 hours/7 hours and hauled all of the refuse away and left the basement clean.

Recent Review: I had called another plumbing company in the past for any problems. It took them about 3 days for them to get in touch with me. The other day, I called them again for help this time. Several hours went by before they could contact me so I called Angie's List. I chose Band H as they were closest to me. I was told the owner would call me shortly. Within 5 minutes, the owner called me and set up the appointment and showed up in 10 minutes. The owner was able to diagnose the problem as a leaking water heater. He immediately got on the phone and asked his supplier if he had a water tank available. The supplier said that he would be able to have the new tank to my home within an hour. While waiting for the new tank, Band H unhooked the other tank and the supplier showed up within the hour he promised. They then installed the new tank and swept up the water. So I had my call answered and a new water heater installed within 3 hours. The gentleman were very polite and courteous. They made sure I understood how to maintain my new tank. Overall, they left with a very happy customer.

Recent Review: Tim Griswold did a great job investigating and determining the reason for our low water pressure.  He diagnosed the problem as the bladder having gone bad in the well tank.  Tim replaced the tank.  The water pressure noticeably increased.  We could really tell the difference in the in the second floor shower where before the new tank it was hard to remove the shampoo from our hair.  We've had others look into the cause of the low pressure without success.  Tim was able to identify and fix the problem within a couple of hours. Tim left the work area neat and clean.  I would not hesitate to use and recommend Griswold Plumbing Services.

Recent Review: Contacted Ginger's by telephone to request an estimate to replace my 40+ year old 275 gallon home heating oil tank and replace with a new unit. I was provided with an estimate, agreed to that figure and scheduled a rip and replace date. Crew arrived with new tank they executed the removal of the old tank and installation of the new, complete with associated fill and vent piping. A leak was detected within minutes of their departing this site. I phoned the company who contacted that team and they promptly returned to this site. The problem was determined to be the copper delivery tube from the tank to the furnace beneath the cellar floor from original construction of the home 40 years earlier. I believe the tubing was weak from age. They resolved the problem by installing new coated copper tubing, between the furnace and the tank, which is currently required by code on new initial installations. The problem was completely eliminated. No additional charges were applied to my original estimate. Ginger's did a great job at a reasonable price and I would certainly recommend their service to others.

Recent Review: It went FLAWLESSLY! Keith and his assistant work in hand-in-hand tandem as if each knows what the other is thinking. Removing a large water tank and replacing it with a new one seemed very daunting to me but they made it look effortless! They had no problem with my taking pictures of the operation( because I just couldn't believe how flawlessly they performed). While they worked, I asked (and they graciously answered) a "bizillion" questions about the wiring, the integrity of adjoining pipes; the effect if any on the foot valve, etc. When you're dealing with someone who KNOWS what they're doing, it's the most secure feeling in the world!  When Keith and his assistant were finished and we said our farewells, I said a "Thank you God" for their having been here!
