ROUSSEAU PLUMBING & HEATING
Recent Review: Best Plumbing Company in the area!!! The only company that would call me back when I had issues. Jarrett is very professional and has always been a very clear communicator. Rousseau has provided excellent service for many projects at our new home all for very reasonable prices... (Clogged Sewer Drain, Installed Utility Sink, New Gas Line for Stove AND emergency help for Frozen Pipes in winter!!!) Each visit the Rousseau crew was polite and very nice. Always feel comfortable with them working at our house. Can't go wrong with these guys!

Recent Review: Design sessions went very well. Chuck was very helpful and knowledgeable about what would be the possible issues. Such as needing a new service and removal of galvanized pipe drains. The design was better than what I first expected I would be able to do. Including being able to add an island. When the work started the workers were always on time. and left everything pretty clean. Work took a few days longer than originally estimated but there were a few add-ons during the process.

BARRIEAU OIL CO
Recent Review: I have used Barrieau and O'Toole many times over the past year. I had multiple floods in my basement requiring two replacement water heaters. They installed a replacement sump pump with backup pump to solve the flooding issue. In addition, they went over and above by not just selling me products and installation but they help me figure out the problem with the flooding, which turned out to be a faulty back water valve in the drain pipe to the street. They recommended calling the MDC and having them inspect the basement, which resulted in the MDC doing work to correct the problem. I now have confidence that my basement will stay dry! In addition to my basement problems I had the gas insert installed. I have been very happy with the result! They also did some minor drain cleaning at another time as well. They are generally prompt and work with my schedule. You are always best asking lots of questions, which I do, but they are happy to answer them all. At any point that I was unhappy with something they took care of it. I happily recommend them!

Kellner Plumbing & Heating, LLC
Recent Review: We have already used Kellner's twice. After the power outage, the valve on our hot water heater started leaking. We also did not care for cooking outside during the 7 days without power.  We needed the valve replaced and a natural gas line installed for a new gas range. We contacted Jamie at Kellner's. She is very professional and responsive. She arranged a date for our quote. The next day, the valve stopped dripping and began streaming. We called Jamie and Dan was here a short time later (less than 3 hours). He had the correct part in the truck and it was replaced on the spot. The gas line was installed on the agreed upon date, no extra fees, nothing unexpected. Great job. Dan was on time, you would not know there was work performed, it was left clean. Having very little extra time, who has time for unexpected home repairs? To find a plumber with this type of work ethic, has left me feeling very relieved that I have someone I can count on, with fair prices. Thank you too Angie's List, and Hartford area neighbors, this is an excellent resource

Recent Review: After talking to a few plumbers, we decided to go with Mike as we read the reviews in Angie's. Mike was prompt in coming to give us a free estimates ($600) and setting up appts. Although it started off with a simple plumbing disconnect/reconnect job, it quickly morphed into more than that. The good thing was that Mike never said no to anything. And we loved his confidence all along. The only thing we were nervous was if we would end up paying a lot more that $600. Our biggest addition to original scope was the moving of gas line. Originally I thought I might not have to but eventually we had to. That added up the additional $225. But then he ended up putting new garbage disposal and a few other parts around the faucets. We were pleasantly surprised that we did not charge us for that. And the best thing was how is managed to have our kitchen sink ready in 2 hrs the final day. That was challenging as he ran into multiple issues around parts and has his support crews rush with replacement parts. He openly declared that his goal was to have my wife cook that day no matter what he had to go through. This was the day he was supposed to shop for his own daughter's Bday party. We loved his dedication. The whole project was completed in 3 appts based on our schedule of how we were assembling our kitchen cabinets. He worked around our schedule to make sure everything came together appropriately. Basically Mike is our guy for sure and we look forward to using him for our bathroom renovation project very soon.
