Recent Review: When a pipe in our upstairs bathroom sprung a leak, we decided it was time to remodel both bathrooms in our 90+ years old house.  They were last remodeled about 30 years ago, and were in great need for an update.  We called Phil at Plumber's Plus to do the work.  We found him on Angie's list.        With Phil we decided we would do the upstairs bathroom first, and we could not have been happier with the results.  Working with Phil, and his contractors for tile work, carpentry and electrical was a pleasure.  The only delays in the upstairs remodel were due the humid weather, the joint compound took longer than usual to cure.  I was glad to see that they didn't just hurry up the job to get it done.  All the subcontractors were coordinated by Phil, and they truly took pride in their work.  All were meticulous and very easy to work with.      For the downstairs bathroom we wanted to have a bathroom that was in line with the style of an older house and we decided proceed as described above.  Throughgout the remodel of the bathrooms, Phil and other contractors offered suggestions on what would be best.  Some suggestions we liked and accepted, others we did not.  Our original claw foot tub was really too big for the room, and Phil suggested we look at a different one at the supply house.  We did so, and we agreed that it would be a better fit.  The smaller tub makes a huge difference in the comfort of the small bathroom.  We loved our pedestal sink and pull chain toilet and decided that we would be keeping them. Installing new plumbing fixtures is one thing, but removing and reinstalling fixtures that are over 30 years old is something else.  Phil had to improvise to get some replacement parts, and shine up the old chrome, but put both fixtures back together perfectly.  They are as good as the day the were originally installed.      We had done a lot of remodeling in the past, and were dreading the hassle of having people working in the house, and disrupting the household routine.  Phil and his crew could not have been easier to get along with.  The were always professional and personable.  Their work could not have been of a higher quality.        We're fortunate to have found them on Angie's List, and I'm happy to share my input and opinion of this outstanding company with the Angie's List community.
