Very poorly. The designer told us the whole process would take 10-12 weeks; it took 16 months. The designer lost the plans on the computer 2 times, many of the items ordered didn't fit and had to be sent back, the hood was too small for the stove, the cabinets around the sink were incorrectly designed, the microwave we picked out with the designer didn't fit in the cabinet that was supposed to hold it, the plumber flooded our kitchen (twice) - one time it was a slow leak that we didn't notice until our hardwood floor warped and needed replacing. They tore out a soffit and then decided that the design was wrong and asked to be paid to rebuild the soffit. (A worker did it on his own without the store paying him.) The project was not managed & we spend a lot of time acting as our own general contractor even though Home Depot had a sign in the design area that said they provided "project management." After all that, they treated us like we were the problem...even refused to sell us carpet.
