Recent Review: They were a lot more than the place we went with. They were fine. They were friendly and knowledgeable. It seemed that everything was an add-on. There was a basic package and then everything else was an add-on. They gave us a quote the day we went there.

Swim Tech Pool Services, Inc.
Recent Review: Swim Tech put in our pool about 12 years ago and has been an excellent supplier of support and services since that time. Their experienced and professional office personnel always work with me to figure the best and, when appropriate, the least costly way to keep our pool in good operating order. The men who do the work complement the office staff with their experience and their good nature. They won't leave the job until it is done correctly and the problem is solved. This last project followed the same script. From start to finish, everything went extremely well and we couldn't be happier. We recommend Swim Tech Pool Services Inc. and their maintenance department Pro Tech Pools without hesitation!

Recent Review: The new liner has been installed perfectly with all new hardware. Ronnie helped with questions about the pump and the pool is ready for summer ahead of plan despite a difficult spring. This is by far the best pool service company that I have found.

RIVERVIEW POOLS & LINERS
Recent Review: Last fall they came out to take measurements for the replacement liner. This was especially important since the original liner never fit properly. I contacted them in early spring with our pattern selection. When they came this spring to do the job, they removed pool safety cover and captured approximately 15,000 gallons of water to be treated and re-used. They removed the existing liner, painted the coping and scrapped down walls to remove oxidation. Installed the new liner, new jets, new skimmer face plates, and new bottom drain cover. Started re-filling pool with stored water. They removed all debris. All this work was completed in one day! They returned the next morning to remove the vacuum hose from behind the liner as we continued to fill the pool. I called the owner with some minor questions and he was glad to respond.

SOUTH SHORE POOLS
Recent Review: Last fall I found that my pool had sprung a leak and most of the water was gone. I called my pool srvice company several time with no response. I reached out to South Shore Pools and related my problem to them. They responded immediately, found the leak, had me fill the pool so that it would not cave in during the winter. Because they were so attentive to my needs I decided to have them replace my liner in the spring. A few weeks ago they they installed a new pool liner and it turned out to be the wrong size. ( Not there fault ) They promised to have a new one made and have it installed as soon as possible. I have to say they kept ther word. They had my pool up and running before the date they had promised. I found them to be very professional and attentive to my needs. They are now my new pool service company.

Holland Pool Service
Recent Review: The owner came out to measure the pool and gave a quote for the job within days of receiving our call. His price was very good so we agreed to move forward with the job. The liner came in within a 2 week window and it was installed within 3 days. The crew was professional and worked quickly to get the job done. We now have a pool that the kids can use. We are happy with the service and a job well done.

Oasis Pool Service LLC
Recent Review: Worst experience of my life!  Let me just start by saying that I hired this company because they were a young company with a young owner and I like to see the young guys try to make it.  Big mistake. Before the job had even started, the owner never gave me a contract to sign.  That should have been the first red flag.  Then the job was delayed because he never bothered to check if the job required a permit, which it did.  I have a sand bottom pool and the walls needed to be resupported or replaced.  The owner said he was uncomfortable doing that so I had someone experienced in carpentry resupport the walls.  Oasis Pool Service brought up no reservations about that and still accepted the job.  Thru delays and excuses, the job did not start until about 5 months after the initial start date.  After waiting months for the job to be completed, the entire bottom of my pool now looks like the surface of the Moon.  The bottom is filled with excessive divots and voids.  There are also protrusions coming from the bottom and part of the wall.  I told Derek Thoelen, the owner, that I was not happy with the results and I wanted it fixed.  At first it looked like he was going to do the right thing and fix it.  He came back with one of his friends and his idea of getting rid of the protrusions on the bottom was to have his friend tamp down the protrusions with his hands, which may have made it worse.  They left without fixing the problems.  He tells me maybe we can work something out.  The very next day he calls me and says he wants the rest of the money because the liner is in and we can settle things after I pay him.  After I refuse to pay him until the problems are fixed, he says he'll only fix it if he gets paid and I sign a contract not holding him liable for any damage he can cause.  Shady?  I'll let you be the judge of that.  What should have been a fairly easy project became a total nightmare.  I hired a pool inspector to look at the condition of my pool.  He concluded there was lack of preparation done to the sand bottom which caused the excessive divots and voids.  He believed that the protrusions from the wall were debris that should have been removed before the liner was put in.  He told me this could not have been the result of the work that was done to the wall.  Rather than Oasis Pool Service fixing the problem, the company refused to take responsibility and tried to blame me, the homeowner, for the pool problems.

DLESLIE'S SWIMMING POOL SUPLS
I purchased a replacement liner from the Oak Tree Rd, Edison store on April 6th. The manager told me it would be in on April 9th and he would deliver it. I scheduled the installation with a company that he recommended (TFI pool service) for April 25th.  On April 22nd I still hadn't gotten the liner.  I spoke to the manager who said he would deliver it that evening. He did not and did not call.  He also did not deliver it the next day, no phone call.  I called the store on April 24th to find out what was going on and was told the manager was off but the liner was there and the covering person would deliver it that evening. He (Kyle) told me that Jason told him he spoke to my son on the 22nd and was told my son wasn't comfortable letting a stranger in the house.  First of all, my son is an adult, not a child, and in the evening I was home. Kyle also told me that Jason said he called me and I did not return his call. He never called me. Needless to say, I did not chance waiting again for the liner and picked it up myself. As far as the Installer goes, the work was done nicely and they were very courteous but I feel I was grossly overcharged for sand and they left 9 large trash bags in my ward containing the old liner.  Contractors are supposed to take their trash with them, not leave it for the homeowner to dispose of.

It took about 15 phone calls before they finally set up an appointment for somebody to come out, and they had to set up two more appointment times before they actually showed up. I did not use them, and I would not consider using them in the future either.
